Emesis is the process for cleansing the upper parts of the body
The drugs used should be usna (hot), tiksna (sharp), suksma (subtle), vyavayi (penetrating). vikasi (highly mobile and dislodging)
By the action of the drugs, the dosas are expelled from the stomach by Udana Vayu.
The drugs are basically Agni and Vayu predominant.
