It has been around 6-7 months that I have started going to gym and so I am doing heavy exercise daily for muscle gain. I was advised by my instructor to take WHEY PROTEINS. Is it advisable to take them? N is there any steroids or side effects of taking it? I have searched the internet for whey protein as gym supplements and tried to gain nutrition information about them. One of them I searched was Ultimate nutrition prostar 100%whey protein and the information is attached. Still some people say that it contains steroids and they have some side effects. Do them really have some? To gain weight you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours. Space out snacks during the day so you don't spoil your appetite. Bread, cereal, rice, whole wheat, dalia and pasta: biscuits, and corn-bread are good sources of carbohydrates. Fruits: dried fruits, fruit nectars, and large qua...more

Whey protein .Types of Whey Protein: Concentrate vs Isolate vs Hydrolysate
Concentrate: About 70-80% protein. Contains some lactose (milk sugar) and fat, and has the best flavor.
Isolate: 90% protein, or higher. Hydrolysate: Also known as hydrolyzed whey, this type has been pre-digested so that it gets absorbed faster.

Normally, about 40 hairs reach the end of their resting phase each day and fall out. When more than 100 hairs fall out per day, clinical hair loss may occur.
