I have seen the question. Madam let clarify for hypothyroidism (if well confirmed with high tsh) only medication is to take adequate dosage of levothyroxine. There is no medicine in any other alternative branch or therapy. This is because hypothyroidism occurs due to insufficient or some times nill production (synthesis) of thyroxine (t4) by our thyroid gland. Since tsh levels are too high dose of thyronorm is very low. Repeat test should be done after one month. You have not mentioned about actual present complaints.in view of high tsh levels you should consult a consulting physician - internal medicine or better still an endocrinologist for some other tests like antibody study and monitor periodically under their supervision.
