Taking alcohol on disulfiram can be disastrous, so kindly stop alcohol. Disulfiram is an anti deterrent agent and given to prevent an individual from taking alcohol as it can lead to serious problems. You need to discuss with your psychiatrist on alternate medications if the person wants to be a social drinker at the same time continue anti craving medications. Good luck.

If you have bought disulfiram and your brother is motivated to quit drinking i.e. Knows all the different ways his problem with alcohol is creating problems with his mental and physical health as well as interpersonal relationships in the family and society, I would like to let you know that you can certainly give the medication to him. I think better way is keep her busy in some work. Or do some activities which she can distract from alcohol. Or consult with doctor and take necessary medicine from doctor.
