Leukoplakia usually doesn't cause permanent damage to tissues in your mouth. However, leukoplakia increases your risk of oral cancer. Oral cancers often form near leukoplakia patches, and the patches themselves may show cancerous changes. Even after leukoplakia patches are removed, the risk of oral cancer remains.

Hi, by improving your digestive system, you can increase your weight.
1. You must focus on getting the maximum nutrition out of the food that you are eating and digest that. To improve your digestive powers, you can take chitrakadi vati after meal and ashwagandha churna with water twice a day. 2. You can also have milk and milk products eg butter, ghee, etc along with banana shake.

Start taking the tablets one week before the quit date. The aim is to build up the dose so your body gets used to the medicine before the quit date. The usual advice is to start with 0.5 mg daily for the first three days. Then 0.5 mg twice daily on days four to seven. Then, 1 mg twice daily for 11 weeks.
Take each dose with a full glass of water, preferably after eating. So, ideally, after breakfast and after your evening meal.

Dear lybrate-user. That is a great achievement. Body starts its repair process the moment you stop smoking and drinking. Just leave it to the body. Physical exercise is a must. Have nutritious diet with plenty of water and fruits. It should take around 12 months for the body to completely repair itself. Take care.

Dear lybrate-user,
Please try to stop smoking at the earliest. It has many health benefits in the long run.
When you stop suddenly, you may get withdrawal symptoms like restlessness, irritability, lack of concentration, increased hunger, sleep disturbance, headache, impatience, anxiety, depression, etc. If you have them please don’t get back to smoking, take nicotine gum or lozenge or patch. They are available in all medical shops. You don’t need a prescription from doctors.

Dear user. I can understand. You are just 22 and you were smoking just for 5 years. You could be a habitual smoker or an addict, but the 5 year period is not enough to trigger withdrawal symptoms when you quit smoking. Therefore there is nothing to worry about withdrawal symptoms or muscle pain or cramps. Take care.
