I’m 23 years old, i’m a but hypertensive 140/80. I have been suffering from chest pain and discomfort since the last 10 months. I have been on bp drugs but my bp never drops below 140/80, the constant pain around the chest continues. I have done ecg but doctors said the heart is working fine.

Get cbc, typhidot, malaria card test and dengue ns1 antigen test done as precaution for shivering and feeling cold in summer.
Take telmisartan 20 mg od for 3 days and measure bp again daily.
Just this much bp shouldn't give you symptoms like this

My bp all of sudden rose to175 by80. Sometimes it comes down to 140 by 80. L was taking start40 and nebicard 2.5.i consulted with doctor who changed my medicine to olmesartan 20 ct and metoprolol prolonged release. My bp came down to124 by 75 but after some time it again rises. To140 by85. Why this is happening and what should I do to control my bp.

I have 60%stenosis of left anterior descending artery, 35%stenosis of posterior circumflex and 15%stenosis of right coronary artery. I am 50 years old, hypertensive, My question is this stenosis will progress to 100 %blockage. I am on aspirin and plavix and anti cholesterol meds. Is this blockage will dissolve by this medications? Thank you.

I am a occasional hypertensive person. I was taking prolomet xl 12.5. Got sleep disturbance. Switched to amlong h got into low bp, switched to telma 20 to ciplar la 20 and now withdrawn totally all medicine by doctor due to home bp is normal and mood changes observed with bp medicines (especially sleep quality). Apart from bp medicines, other medicines are also affecting mood. Recently had pan 40 for nearly 1 month due to gerd as prescribed by gastro doctor. Got into a big mood down. Now recovered. I was taking olmesartan 20 mg 1od & metoprolol 25 mg extended release 1 bd for hypertension. I also have ckd baseline creatinine increased to 1.4. I had a ptca in jan 2015 and on clopidogrel 75 mg + aspirin 150 mg -1od & nitrocontin 2.6 mg bd. My bp was excellent controlled with systolic 110-120 & diastolic 70 to 80 during the last 8 years issue since my potassium was varying between 5.5 to 5.8 during the last 5 years, I was told by my nephrologist to cut arb ie olmesartan 20 mg and increase metoprolol to 50 mg bd while my potassium has come down to 4.9 within limits in 30 days after stopping arb, my blood pressure is going up to 165/96 with 50 mg metoprolol ed twice a day. Since I am a diabetic & ckd, please suggest a medicine to get my bp to a target level of 120/80 .my resting heart rate is between 60 to 75 echo is normal with only grade 1 lvdd. Ecg normal.

then I can adjust dose.
Telmisartan is a better drug
but drug currently used is also good.
So no issues if you want to continue it.
