My son (13 years) has been diagnosed with bipolar depression. He is having this problem for last 2 years, but has been diagnosed 4 months ago. He is on medication. He is not going school for last 4 months, not ready to study at home n had severe phobia for studies n exams. Tried all methods but no counselling is working for him. Not only studies but other aspects of life are also affected. He has a great phobia of “IF”. Like if I will fail the exams, if this will happen, that will happen n so on. He is very much stressed about future results. Understands the situation but when it comes to studies or going school he gets panicked n feels helpless. After that he has guilt feelings also for not going to school. I have checked other aspects also but he says that it’s all about studies. He had been a brilliant student. 2 years ago v moved to Gurugram. He scored well in exams except one subject (due to festival n family gathering). And teacher passed on a comment regarding less marks.

This is a very early manifestation of bipolar and therefore it is very serious. You must persevere and do some handholding to make functional. If he does not do his normal chores, his condition can only deteriorate. Apart from the medication he needs to go for emotional therapy and deal with his anger in particular. If there are genetic reasons for his condition and any childhood experiences that contributed to his condition, he needs to deal with that in therapy. When the anger is turned inward...more

Currently, there are no treatments prescribed for PVL in Allopathy. All treatments administered are in response to secondary pathologies that develop as a consequence of the PVL. Because white matter injury in the periventricular region can result in a variety of deficits, neurologists must closely monitor infants diagnosed with PVL in order to determine the severity and extent of their conditions.
Patients are typically treated with an individualized treatment. It is crucial for doctors to...more

Please read the article which was published regarding the BRCA gene editing from embryos. They didnt do gene editing. It was embryo selection. So those embryos which did not have the gene were implanted.
Gene editing if technically feasible, but a lot of problems with it at present.
Feel free to contact me directly if you want to discuss this further.

Hello,
Generally, within 10 to 20 years after the appearance of the first symptoms the person is confined to a wheelchair. Individuals may become completely incapacitated in later stages of the disease. Friedreich ataxia can shorten life expectancy, and heart disease is the most common cause of death.

Hi, Hemophilia B is a genetic disease, present since birth, and only treatment is factor replacement. The factor therapy ideally should be given prophylactically, that means should be given weekly for life long so as to prevent any bleeding episodes. If factor is not readily available, then you can use factor as and when injury occurs along with prompt ice application and avoiding over the counter NSAID pain medicines. There are lots of centre both Govt and Private including our centre, where Fa...more

Prolactin levels are increased because there is a tumor... Tumor is not because of prolactin.
So taking medicine for prolactin is never going to help.
Better take homoeopathic treatment to cure tumor and prolactin levels will come back normal on its own.
