Yes. Ritalin, Dexedrine which act in ADHD are. Banned in India and many other countries. You can try Himalayan company products like Brahmi, Mentat syrups for whatever they are worth, I fond them fairly useful.

Since ADHD children are very hperkinaetic, you should avoid giving them sugar/ jagery/ chocolates and junk. Give them - flex seeds
- food rich in proteins like (pulses, dal, egg/ chicken)
- carrot / milk omega 3 fatty acids. I would also advice you to start with syp calcimax p 7.5 ml thrice daily as majority of the kinds with adhd have deficient calcium.
