you have been started on concerta xl 18 mgs only recently. Your prescribing doctor will review response, monitor for any possible side effects and if appropriate will titrate up the dose gradually till there is effective control of your adhd symptoms. Most of them respond well to concerta (which is an extended release preparation of methylphenidate which is a stimulant medication). If for whatever reason concerta does not suit you, there is no harm in trying atomoxetine. M...more
