Do not panic but be vigilant and go for regular health check up with your doctor. It can be benign (in some athletes, the heart rate can be less that 50 BPM ). However, it needs thorough evaluation (ECG, electrolyte tests or any other test can be done to know the reason ). If you have any symptoms then go to your doctor immediately.

If you do not have any disease the heart rate is not to bother you and if you have any doubts you may go for a cardiologist check.

The met XL will keep your blood pressure and heart rate under control nad you have to continue the tablet is for lifetime in most cases and reduce any sisky habits that increase BP. If you are otherwise normal the rate need nto bother you and the pressure medication Met Xl may be reduced to 2 5 Mg if advised by a cardiologist. Moreover, in your young age yu need a detailed check up to see the cause of BP increase.

If you are an athlete it is very natural for you to have slow heart rate. You must undergo exercise stress test /treadmill test for diagnosis of your chest pain.

Paroxysmal Supraventricular Tachycardia (PSVT) ... With the exception of some patients with the Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, PSVT generally is not a dangerous arrhythmia. However, it can result in debilitating symptoms.
