Cholesterol is naturally produced inside the body of every living animal. Human beings are no exception to that. But when we take mutton, chicken, yellow part of a boiled egg, ghee, butter etc we intake cholesterol from external source. This extra cholesterol from external sources increase the total cholesterol content of human body.

To treat hypothyroidism only available drug is Levothyroxine tablets. Hence, if you have that condition, then it may be necessary to take Thyroxine tablets. But I can only give a proper yes or know based on actual TSH value, BP reading plus some details on the heart condition. Since nothing is mentioned, it is difficult to give any opinion. Thanks.
