Serum insulin levels, either basal or stimulated, are decreased. Glucagon is less affected. I had a acute myocardial infraction in jan 2019 angioplasty done one stint in my lad .i am taking medicine mor metalor xr25 and eptus t 10. And vaymaida 50 mg mor and 1\2 tab in the evening at night rosuvas cv20 tab. My ef at the discharge from hospital was 38% now on my last checkup it was 32% and my bp 110\70 or after taking vaymaida my bp goes to90\60 or 100\65 .kindly suggest me weather this treatment is good and my ef will increase in future.

How would a diagnosis of both a benign pituitary tumor (microadenoma) and arrhythmia generally affect life expectancy and general health in the future for a 25 year old female? Of course this will depend very much on the specifics of each case, but should you in the average case expect to be able to live a full normal life? My understanding is that both conditions generally can be treated quite well separately, but is this no longer the case when being diagnosed with both simultaneously?

Almost all pituitary tumors are benign (not cancer) glandular tumors called pituitary adenomas. These tumors are called benign because they don't spread to other parts of the body, like cancers can. Pituitary cancers (called pituitary carcinomas) are very rare. But we have to look into the details of the problem.

I have been treated for pituitary tumour and craniopharyngioma. My sperm count was zero coz of pituitary tumour. It was normal in teen age, 18 to 25. Nil from 25 to 31. I'm 32 now and I see semen when I masturbate. Doctor has told that I will not have sperm production for my life. But now I see semen coming like before. Is this possible. Asked for male, 25 years old from Delhi

Hi, my father is an heart patient and he has undergone bypass heart surgery (cabg) in 2016. Medicine which doctor advised to continue was 1. Amlong 5 mg, 2. Pantop dsr, 3. Atorva 40 mg, 4. Cardivas 6.25 mg, 5.ecosprin 150 mg. He stopped taking medicines in feb, 2019. From january 2020, he started feeling discomfort like pain in chest, sweating. So he decided to continue the same medicine from 5th of feb 2020. So on 6th of feb he got fainted for 2-3 seconds and after that he is facing memory loss problem like recalling anybody names or reading/writing and also feeling headache. Please advice.

There are many causes of upper lobe opacity from tb to cancer. Hrct chest should be done to know the exact pathology especially if symptoms like cough, fever, weight loss, blood in sputum are present.
