yes, a bartholin's cyst or abscess may recur and again require treatment. Don't have sex while a bartholin cyst is healing. If the cyst is infected, it may break open and start to heal on its own after 3 to 4 days. But if the cyst is painful, your doctor may drain it. You can start ayurveda treatment if want to stop its recurrence permanently.

Bartholin's cysts are common. Fluid may accumulate when the opening of the Bartholin's gland becomes obstructed due to an infection or 'INJURY'.
If it is not causing you any pain or discomfort there is no apparent need to worry. Taking warm baths can help in getting it self-resolved. If the cyst has grown too large it may be surgically drained.
