Gall bladder cancer usually spreads to the liver by contiguous spread, which is curable although advanced (hence percent cured is less)
However if it has metastasised to the liver, then cure is unlikely and treatment is palliative.

M 24. Had some questions about female reproductive system. A few days back I was going through a magazine where in a column of women's health there was an article about infertility. They said blockage in fallopian tubes is one of the major reasons. How should I know whether my fallopian tubes are ok? Last year in Sept I had a scan that showed normal uterus, and polycystic appearing ovaries. I could not find any image of fallopian tubes or anything. The report also read " No free fluid in the pelvic or abdomen area" so is that a good thing? Does that no free fluid mean fallopian tubes are normal? I am not married and I don't think of having baby or anything like that . I am just curious to know. Thank you.

There are 3 days to check patency of fallopian tubes- hydrosonography, hsg and diagnostic laparoscopy. Free fluid is not directly informative about tubal health. The best test for the tubes is laparoscopy.

My mom is 45 years old last she was suffering from abdominal bloating after a month she had dengue then she recovered from dengue and doctor has done some image test like ultrasound and said it is fine your intestine is little bend and she was ok for 6-7 month again same issue happen while sitting stomach bloating start and again we had done checkup and found grade 1 fatty liver then doctor done endoscopy upper GI and report was all normal with dyspepsia then we had another liver test-liver fibrosis and result was 6.9kpa now sometime she is feeling weakness, bloating and tired what to do now?

Hi doctor, my stomach was bloating of late and was experiencing a cramping effect, hence I was advised to get a usg of the abdomen. The impression of the usg report says: 1. Mild fatty liver 2. Mildly bulky uterus with heterogeneous myometrial echotextureâ?adenomyosis. The imaging findings of the uterus says :- mildly bulky, anteverted and measures- 89 * 49 * 41 mm. Myometrial echotexture is heterogeneous. No myometrial sol seen. Endometrial thickness measures- 8 mm. Cervix is normal. Please help me to infer this in simple terms. And is this a very serious matter? Please help. Thanks.

Dear Sir, Please suggest if my wife should take further treatment. We got married on 02 march 2018 and writing this question on 12 march 2018. Her ultrasound image of lower abdomen shows that-- 1) Both ovaries are enlarged in size, one ovary 19.5 cc and other 14.5 cc. 2) Multiple small cysts are found on both ovaries which are arranged peripherally. 3) Her periods are regular, but this month her period lasted for 12 days with heavy bleeding, 4) Doctor gave her metformin, folson and noteron tablets, What is the problem with her reproductive system? Please answer.

As per US report, she seems to be having polycystic ovaries, it is a common problem and it is too early to say that she will have any problem in conceiving. Prolonged periods soon after marriage can be due to stress. Irregularity in periods does happens in many girls for few months after marriage. If she doesnot conceive after trying for 5-6 months, get her honmones tested.

From the limited information presented here, I understand that some nodule was biopsied and it shows adenocarcinoma which means it's cancer deposit spread from somewhere. Next step in your work up would be pet ct along with tumor markers (cea, ca 19-9, ca 125etc.). Based on these reports further investigations or treatment will be planned.
