Fetal heart rate of 152 is normal. Fetal heart rate of 120 - 160 is considered normal .fetal heart rate is not fixed it varies from beat to beat.

It may be due to hormonal change wait for 5-10 days if, it is first time. But if it occur regularly then get a thyroid test done.

After molar pregnancy, the risk of developing a second mole is 1.2-1.4%. The risk increases to 20% after 2 moles. So effective contraception is recommended during the period of follow-up, oral contraceptive pills should be started immediately after evacuation of vesicular mole. After completion of documented remission or normal hcg value for 12 months, women who desire pregnancy may discontinue contraception, and can plan for next pregnancy.

Hello- if you are not fully participating in the sex (both physically and mentally) thn your vaginal tract might not elongate during sex and hence your partner's penis does not enter fully in your vagina. Failure in complete insertion can also affect your chances of pregnancy as the sperm might not travel up to its desired distance. Another reason for your problem is if your husband has a very long penis (>7 inches). If not thn follow proper foreplay before sex, use artificial lubrication, these will promote full insertion.

Hi lybrate-user. Has your doctor done a sonography for you. If yes pls send the report so that I can guide you. If no then you should get a sonography done and also a few more tests would be required. Do not worry too much. Pcos is a condition where in you may have a wide variety of symptoms but it can be tackled with medication.

I am in 4th month of pregnancy and have thyroid with normal TSH. Our gynaecologist is asking to go from triple marker test but already 3 ultrasound have been done. Is it necessary to go for triple marker test when double marker test reports are normal? Is it ok to change gyne at 5th month?

There are situations when triple marker test needs to be done even if double marker test is normal. In such a case, I would recommend that you discuss your concerns with your present Obgyn. Taking a second opinion is your right and you should have no reservations in doing so. Only if you find your present gynaecologist non-receptive to your concerns should you consider changing doctors. Yes it is possible to change treating doctors midway. Just make sure you have all your reports available with you to share with your new doctor.

Am. 29 years. Army man from kerala. My wife delivery date was Oct 4 2015. But one week before she felt small pain in her stomach. And we went to our doctor. scaling the doctor said. Our child is died inside the uterus. The cause of death is unknown. During her pregnancy period there is no complication seen in scanning. And other tests. Like thyroid, sugar, pressure. I appears that the baby expired close to the due date for no apparent cause. She needs to have deeper investigations into known causes for unexplained fetal loss late at term. You should do for a private consult before the next baby in order to detect, treat and be wary of diseases not diagnosed so far.

Hi lybrate-user Normally for first baby, it may take upto 22 weeks for you to feel the first kick. You may start feeling some bubble like movement earlier than that. Do not worry. It is an awesome sensation, and you'll never forget that first kick So enjoy every stage of the pregnancy.

It is very difficult to predict or rule out pregnancy. Wait for 5-6 days after stopping the withdrawal tablets. And then do a home pregnancy test. Period may delay because of the I pill itself.

A Perfect Fitness Regimen For Today's Woman!

To stay in shape, you are required to follow a fitness plan that’s different from men. And, to lose a lot of pounds one must go for running, cycling and any other cardio exercises. But there comes the point when the weight loss suddenly comes to a halt showing no results whatsoever and the woman who never missed her fitness classes is now losing interest in the ongoing fitness regime. In all such instances, strength training is the best way to ensure that fitness remains at beck and call and a 4-week fitness program is what all women must try in order to have a solid foundation of strength and maintain fitness throughout.

The 1st week
If a woman is not accustomed to the weight training exercises, it is natural to be overwhelmed by the idea. But weight training is not as difficult as it may appear to be. One shall have to complete each workout like the straight sets. For instance, it is recommended to do a set of leg presses, then proceed on to the next set of the workout. All the workouts must be completed in this manner with 12 repetitions for 3 sets and a rest of 30 seconds in between. The fitness experts suggest selecting a weight load where the final two repetitions of the set are harder to perform and don’t let the woman do a 13th repetition. One can also increase the load of weight for each set while sticking to 12 repetitions for all the three sets.

The 2nd week
One shall continue with the straight set format for all the workouts in the 2nd week as well. But the 12 repetitions must be increased to 15 with 15 seconds of rest in between. This means that the 2nd week of the fitness regime allows the woman to complete more movements in less time. The fitness training is a wonderful stimulus of taking the exercise regime to the next level.

The 3rd week
The 3rd week is the juncture of the fitness regime and is extremely crucial for a thorough weight loss. In place of the straight sets, one would have to perform the circuit sets. One shall have to complete a set of each movement in 15 repetitions and then instantly move to the next movement without any rest in between. For instance, if someone is performing leg presses, then it has to be done for 15 reps and then move to the following movement such as goblet squat with no rest. After the completion of all the movements, the circuit has to be performed twice.

The final week
The circuit set style would remain unchanged in this week, and the woman shall only have to perform 12 repetitions of each movement. But it gets harder in this week as in it is recommended to do 4 complete circuits without any rest in between. This week must be dedicated to keeping oneself moving, and once a movement is finished, one shall have to instantly return to the first movement to begin a new circuit. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a gynaecologist.

Intermittent Explosive Disorder - What You Should Know About It?

Do you or someone you know lash out in aggressive verbal and violent behavior at the slightest provocation? This could be a symptom of a behavioral disorder called Intermittent Explosive Disorder or IED. Intermittent Explosive Disorder is characterized by repeated, sudden bursts of anger which are disproportionate to the situation. These outbursts also have no discernable reason behind them. These outbursts can have a negative impact on your relationships, work and finances. If left untreated, this chronic condition can continue for years.

The exact cause for IED is unknown, but research shows that a number of environmental and biological factors play an important role in triggering such behavior. Genes may also play a role in triggering this behavior as such aggressive behavior is found to run in families. Children and teenagers are most commonly affected by this condition. Children who have been exposed to violent behavior in their early childhood years are more likely to exhibit such behavior as they grow older. There are various symptoms exhibited by the people suffering from other psychological disorders such as bipolar disorder, ADHD or antisocial personality disorder; some of the symptoms to look out for are:

  1. Bursts of anger that last 30 minutes or less
  2. Chronic irritability
  3. Racing thoughts
  4. Tightness of the chest
  5. Tremors and tingling sensation
  6. Physical aggression

People suffering from this condition often feel relief or fatigue after such an episode. However, later they are filled with feelings of guilt and embarrassment. If such episodes occur repeatedly, it is best to consult a doctor. By conducting a thorough physical and psychological examination the doctor will be able to diagnose your condition and treat you accordingly.

There is no one set course of treatment that applies to all cases of this condition. Treatment usually involves medication and psychotherapy. Medication in these cases may include antidepressants and mood stabilizers. This medication should not be stopped unless your doctor advises this. Also do not use alcohol or any mood altering drugs along with it.

When it comes to psychotherapy, the patient may benefit from individual or group therapy. It aims to identify situations that trigger such behavior and teach the patient how to manage their anger. Practicing relaxation techniques such as deep breathing and yoga can also help keep you calm. Psychotherapy also enhances the patient's ability to communicate with others and find alternate ways of getting out of a frustrating situation.

You can not be 100% sure. So keep doing pregnanacy test every 5 days for 15 days. Do not do intercourse in between.

There is no safe period for pergnancy, you have to take chance. You should keep in mind about hiv. If your cycles is regular, say your menses start on 1st and ends on 5th, then safe period is 5-10 and 21-to start of menses is considered to be safe. But pregnancy can happen any time.
