- u are suffering from arthritis - u can connect withme to know progressive knee strengthening exercises. - check for vit d, uric acid, b12 defiencies to recovery. - precautions avoid cross sitting, prolonged standing - avoid too much stair climbing - wear knee cap to support jpint avoid any jerky movement - do hot fermentation before exercise

Sir. I continuously feeling numbness and stiffness in my feet especially on my fingers. My heart rate also fluctuates throughout the day. It reaches to the levels of 125+ n sometimes lower down to 55- inspite of not doing any physical activities. I feel anxious throughout the day n also not able to sleep well during nights. I feel choked during my sleep which wakes me up with a shock. Cn you pls tell me the disease I am suffering? Pls suggest any remedies or consultation if necessary.

You can safely lose weight at home with a healthy diet and lots of exercise. * Don't skip meals esp breakfast- Skipping breakfast seems like a simple way to cut calories, but it can make you hungry the rest of the day. * Drink plenty of water - Water is essential for burning calories. Chronic Lower Back Pain - Causes And Symptoms

Lower back pain is characterized by a feeling of pain around the lumbar region (curve of the back connecting the upper back and glutes- muscles in the buttock that are responsible for thigh movement) caused by muscle or ligament injury. The spinal area is most likely to be affected by lower pain as it may impair routine activities like walking and standing. Any lower back pain that lasts for more than ninety days can be considered as chronic.

Causes of lower back pain:

There are plenty of causes for lower back pain. Anything that exposes the lumbar area of the spine to a level of stress beyond its capacity can cause lower back pain. These causes are-

1. Disorders of the discs - The spinal area in the lower back comprises of small bones called the vertebra, which are connected to each other by pieces of cartilage known as discs. These discs act as shock absorbers, and when exposed to excessive shock can cause the disc to bulge, resulting in herniated discs. Wear and tear of the discs can also occur.

2. Spinal stenosis - Spinal stenosis occurs when the area around the spine becomes narrow. It may affect the nerves surrounding the lower back, resulting in pain.

3. Wear and tear of the joints and ligaments - Normal wear and tear of the joints and ligaments cause difficulties in holding the spine in its proper position and this progresses with age. This may cause a vertebra to slide over another and affect the nerve endings, giving rise to pain.

Symptoms of lower back pain

The symptoms of lower back pain are usually a dull or excruciating pain in the lower back. It can also affect other parts of the body such as the hips and the legs. In case of severe pain, simple activities like walking, bending and sitting will be impaired. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can ask a free question.

I had got inflammation, cut, and pain in my proximal inter phalngeal joint after breaking a soil pot during martial art training. And also I get inflammation in metacarpal region outer side of palm of right hand after punching wall. What should I do now. Continue my practice to make my palm more strong or I should stop it.

You should stop untill your current injuries are healed totally. And you should in cooperate proper technique of training as getting yourself injuried every time is not a good sign.

Towel Hamstring Stretch Lie on the back, supporting the thigh with the hand or with a towel wrapped around it.. Slowly straighten the knee until a stretch is felt in the back of the thigh, trying to get the bottom of the foot to face the ceiling, one leg at a time. Hold the position initially for 10 seconds, and gradually work up to 20 to 30 seconds. Seated Hamstring Stretch While sitting at the edge of a chair, straighten one leg in front of the body with the heel on the floor. Then, sit up straight and try pushing the navel towards the thigh without leaning the trunk of the body forwards. Hold this stretch for 30 seconds Repeat 3 times for each leg.

Back pain may be due to strain, sprain, weather change etc. *Avoid bending forward while working on lap top or for any other work. *Don’t sit continuously working on laptop etc. Get up periodically and move around. *Restrict bike driving as far as possible. *Don’t carry laptop or any load on your shoulder. Carrying very light loads equally with both hands is better *Sit straight so that back bone gets proper support. A dining chair is better than a laid back sofa. *You can use mustard oil for massage which is good in winter season for relieving pain. Eucalyptus oil is also good *Soft bed will not give proper support to your back bone. Hard bed with thin mattress and thin pillow is better. *Get yourself tested whether you have spondylitis problem. Homoeopathy has a good treatment for this without adverse effects. To start with, take Calc fluor 200--once daily in the morning for 6 days.

Hi apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

Hello. You did not mentioned the age of the patient. As the age progresses there will be changes in the bone density. If there is work related any strenous effort to the bones, they may get easily degenerated. Without any rheumatological reports or proper investigations, medicine can not be advised. Also along with medications internally & treatments externally with some knee joint exercises can increase the stability of the joint.

I am 47 years old. Female. Having high blood pressure. Taking regular medicine. Now it is under control. For last one month having a pin in my right shoulder. I am working lady 12 to 14 hours working in laptop. For last 2 days also notice that when I am in bed either it is at night or in the morning. Sudden headmoving (blundness) it is for a moment. If I head down also felt the same. Why it is happening. Need advise.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Your pain in your right shoulder region could be due to some early degenerative changes setting in the affected joint. Also lack of exercises, active lifestyle could be contributing to this. My advise will be, if there is no swelling, associated skin redness, local warmth etz and if there is no h/o any injury, then you can initiate physical therapy under supervision of a good physical therapist, ice fomentation 2-3 times at home, gentle anti inflammatory medication like tab etoshine etc for 5-7 days, continue with adequate calcium and vitamin d intake as recommended, and you should start feeling better in 2-3 weeks time. I could not understand the second part of your question which I think is more of a neurology issue rather than an orthopaedic one. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket. And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back. You may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * surya namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * in diet vegetable protein of cereal, b complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.
