My fat is increasing and I do exercise everyday but they are not working to lose weight.
Don’t worry. You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. As soon as you start seeing the results, you will be surprised as well as motivated to go beyond your weight loss and adopt and a lifelong healthy attitude. For a start please follow: 1. Watch what you eat – Are you eating too much junk, drink excessive alcohol and eating too much white food and sugar? Please cut it down to as low as you can from tomorrow. Cut down tea/coffee if you are too addicted to it. It is creating havoc inside your body. 2. Lifestyle – Are you a late sleeper and late riser? You can’t imagine what this schedule of yours is doing to your metabolism. It is degrading your digestive system from inside and your looks from outside. 3. Physically active – If you are a couch potato who loves to watch tv whole day then throw that couch of yours in the street and get yourself a treadmill tomorrow. Yes it is as simple as that. Who is stopping you? You have to be physically active all day long if you want to burn those extra calories. Do daily brisk walk, Pranayam, atleast 20 surayanamaskar everyday to start seeing the results. Take break between office work to walk a little or rather just climb some stairs to get that food you ate in lunch have space and heat to digest and absorb. What’s the harm in using your washroom to do a little middle of the day squats. Do that – No one is watching you. The key is to stay physically active all day long, no matter what. 4. Eat healthy and eat on time: Not only eating healthy is important but eating at right time is equally imp too. Have an early breakfast and early dinner and have 4 small meals between breakfast and dinner. To guide you a bit, here you go: A. Breakfast (Between 8-10 a. M) – Have oats/porridge or brown bread with milk and nuts. B. At 11 a. M - Cup of Green Tea c. Mid day meal (around 12 p. M) – Have a bowl of fruits. Citrus fruits are best taken during this hour and absorb well in the body. Have oranges, amla, pineapple etc during this hour. D. Lunch (between 2-3 p. M) – Daal, roti, mix veg, buttermilk and salad. You can also take brown rice with daal in lunch. Try to get your food cooked in olive oil. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E. Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F. Evening (4-6 p. M) – Have some nice sprouts with tomatoes and cucumber. G. Dinner (2 hours before sleeping, preferably before 9 p. M) – Paneer & veggies salad with olive oil, Roti or brown rice with Daal. H. Have a glass of warm milk. Weight loss is 80% about what you eat and 20% about exercises. That said, both the things go hand in hand. If you want to lose weight in a more healthy way than be patient and just follow the regimen everyday. Slow and steady wins the race.

1. Apply mahabhringraj oil on your scalp and massage follow by giving hot water fomentation. You can put 1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils before going to bed. 2. Take pranacharya allergen capsule twice a day. Increase the intake of proteins such as soybean and egg white. It is advisable to avoid tea, coffee, spicy food, fermented food and junk food. Only use ayurvedic shampoo on your scalp and avoid synthetic shampoos. Do pranayama early morning.

This question is for gynecologist. Doctor only in summers I noticed that I get itching in my vagina. What should I do?

India had hot and humid climate and due to this people tend to sweat a lot in summer and rainy months. The sweating is also present in the hairy region around the arm pit and private parts. Due to this dampness, there is a recurrence of fungal infections again and again which manifest as itching. Even if you do not have fungal infection, the damness can also make one itch. The best remedy for this is : 1. wear cotton free flowing clothes to allow flow of air in and around private aprts 2. wear cotton loose underwear 3. Do not wear synthetic underclothes as it prevents the sweat from getting dried 4. If you feel sweaty, you may have a bath 2 times a day 5. Keep the hairs around private parts trimmed so that the sweat evaporates faster. 6. If you sweat a lot,or even after bath, wipe the vulval area from front to back.......wiping the private part area from back to front can drag bacteria from anal region to vagina dn cause itching, and fungal or mixed infections. 7. If you are sweating a lot, avoid wearing underclothes at sleep, and if required use some dusting powder in groin region

Hi Ansh., stomach ache problems are due to improper and unbalanced diet. Staonach ache are of various kind. Here I am mentioning some effective remidies to get rid from this condition. 1. Hi, please follow these tips to stop snoring: - reduce your weight if you are obese. - perform pranayama (breathing exercises) everyday. - quit smoking which irritates the mucosal layer of the nose and throat and causes blockage and results in snoring. - quit alcohol and sedatives which relax the throat muscles and results in snoring. - sleep on sides instead on back. - elevate the head by using a thick pillow which eases the breathing. - clear the nose before going to bed. - establish regular sleep pattern. - keep the bedroom air moist by using humidifier; as dry air irritates the mucosal membrane in the nose and throat. - perform throat exercises like repeating the vowels a, e, i, o, you loudly for 2-3 mins few times a day or keeping the tongue behind the teeth and moving it backwards - 3-4 times a day. - anti snoring appliances can also be used.

Often newborns have various skin pigmentation which clear up as they grow older. Skin colour is mostly genetic and can to some extent be brightened by healthy diet, good skin care routine, and sun protection. It is not advisable to use skin brightening agents (chemical or natural) at this age. The newborn skin is sensitive and should only have hypoallergenic baby safe products used. Dermadew/nmf are good baby safe skin care products which will improve quality of skin. Don't worry about skin colour. A healthy skin is a beautiful skin. Enjoy the cuddles with your baby. To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy. 1. Start with changing your lifestly. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. 2. Eat Healthy – Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food, pepsi, sugary stuff etc. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. b. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. c. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. d. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. e. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. f. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. g. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Just follow this regimen and you will soon start seeing the results.

The periods you get after taking those tablets is called withdrawal beeding. Some women get it the day after stopping, some later. You can wait upto 10 days after the last tablet to get periods. The main concern is pregnancy. If you are sure that possibility of pregnancy is small, you dont have to worry. You can wait.

1. Baking Soda Baking soda is an effective treatment for blackheads as well as acne. It helps clear the skin of impurities such as debris and dirt. 1. Mix two teaspoons of baking soda with mineral water to make a paste. 2. Apply the paste generously on the affected skin area and massage gently. Allow it to dry for a few minutes before rinsing it off with warm water. 3. Repeat this remedy once or twice a week. 2. Cinnamon Cinnamon can be used to remove and prevent blackheads • Mix one teaspoon each of cinnamon powder and lemon juice with a pinch of turmeric powder (optional). Spread it on your face, leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes and then rinse it off. • Alternatively, mix one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and honey to form a thick paste. Apply it on the affected area before bed and leave it on overnight. In the morning, wash your face well with normal water. For best results, follow this remedy daily for about 10 days.

Use baby shampoo. Use natural henna powder dipped in liquor tea over night. Next day mixed egg, curd, 10 ml coconut oil and few drops of lemon then apply it on scalp. Once a week. Avoid iodized salt. Please visit multispeciality hospital with dental treatment facility so that any medical problem will be take care properly if by chance it occur. And get few blood test done - bt, ct, inr ratio, hb%, cbc and factor viii assay. If you are medically fit and reports are in normal range then I don't think there will be any issue.
