He has a habit of drinking not always but anytime going out means have to drink. so how should I stop him from drinking?

Ask Free Question
If you are the wife you must tell me exactly how much he drinks. I know of many wives who make a big issue when the man drinks socially but she is under the impression that he is an alcoholic and then harasses him. Over time he will willfully drink and may develop alcoholism, inadvertently. The cause: a nagging wife over something innocuous. If he is drinking and misbehaving, you certainly have some concern even so please talk to him nicely and find out if he needs help. If he is insistent and is not aware that he is making a nuisance of himself, then you first refuse to go out with him anymore if he drinks like that. If he still continues, you must take him for rehabilitation, even against his will, if necessary. Some centers will come home and pick him up when he is in a drunken state, but they will need written permission from you to do so. Now make sure you are not the cause of his drinking by your over-reaction.

Hi. It's normal to lose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg, eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin), different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. Walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regularly massage head and hair with coconut oil, almond oil (depending upon your scalp type) 1 to 3 times a week. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you fit and young! Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa tonic twice a day for 3 months. Use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Beside this, you can take one tablet of multivitamin Folli Hair once daily for 3 months. Get back to me for further advise.

Dear, at your age, memory problems like amnesia are not common. Many young people are having problems with memory. These problems are either they are too busy or due to anxiety and stress. Hi Mr. Lybrate-user. I can understand, if you really want to cure your anxiety forever, you need to have a long term treatment plan that takes into consideration your anxiety symptoms, what you're suffering from, how badly you're suffering, and your specific anxiety disorder. First and foremost, don't let your anxiety cause you to make poor decisions about anxiety treatments. The reality is that most" rapid" treatments don't work. You'll find many people that claim that they have an extract or a medicine that can cure your anxiety immediately, and unfortunately it's never the case - it's people taking advantage of you in your time of need, and hoping the placebo effect will be enough to cure your anxiety. Even prescription medications have a" false" component. Prescription medicines can give you some help with anxiety, but that help is only temporary, and your mind and body can actually become dependent on these medications. As soon as you stop taking them, your anxiety may not only come back - it could even be worse than before. Curing your anxiety is a process - it's a process that can happen, for everyone, but those that hope they can get instant anxiety help are going to be disappointed, and possibly taken advantage of. Your symptoms define your anxiety if you really want to cure your anxiety forever, you need to have a long term treatment plan that takes into consideration your anxiety symptoms, what you're suffering from, how badly you're suffering, and your specific anxiety disorder. Imately effective treatment. Setting up a long term plan - making realistic goalsi possible to reduce your anxiety every day. There are countless tips to learn to manage it. But you need to do two things: you need to make sure that you're giving yourself realistic goals. You need to make it a long term plan. You can get anxiety help now - help that will genuinely reduce your experience with anxiety. But it will only reduce it so much. You'll still need to keep at it, and commit to it in a way that will guarantee short and long term results. Realistic goals will ensure that you don't give up. You're bound to have setbacks, because life isn't stress free. A long term plan will also make sure that you keep at it - you'll not only have something to do next, you'll also know what to do next. For example, let's look at several strategies you can do right now that will reduce your anxiety: start jogging jogging isn't just for your health. Jogging releases endorphins, which are neurotransmitters that improve mood. It also tires muscles, and there is evidence that extra energy in muscles becomes converted to a feeling of anxiety. Sleep better getting more sleep will fight anxiety right away. Far too many people are allowing themselves to be sleep deprived, but sleep is one of the most important and easy tools your mind has for coping with stress. Breathing training many anxiety symptoms, particularly for those with anxiety attacks, are a result of inadequate breathing techniques. Anxiety can actually train your body to breathe poorly, leading to hyperventilation and a variety of related symptoms. Exposure therapy exposure is a cognitive behavioral technique that trains you to get used to things that used to cause you anxiety. For example, if you often get anxiety when you feel dizzy, you spin around in a chair and use a variety of techniques to calm your mind. Lifestyle changes many lifestyle changes that you will need to make in order to live with anxiety also require long term changes. For example, who you spend time with may need to change, as will how you react at your workplace. These strategies take longer, and require more effort and planning on your part. They're also not immediately successful, and there are often setbacks. Realistic goals and an effective and healthy plan can reduce the effects of these setbacks. You'll also need to be okay with admitting to yourself that you have an anxiety problem that needs to be solved. If you continue to try to fight the truth about your anxiety, you'll struggle to overcome it. Anxiety and stress are very real problems that affect people every day, and there's nothing wrong with you if you suffer from them. As soon as you can come to terms with your anxiety, you'll be on the right path towards treating it. Consult for psychotherapy for anxiety you can consult with me for same. All the best.

Dear, the best method is to keep away from those circumstances. With the help of medicines, you may temporarily overcome the hysteria and anxiety, but that is not a permanent cure. Slowly, when time passes, you will overcome this problem. Take care.

How to increase the memory power? What are the memory power increasing food And how to eat?

Lybrate-user. Memory is like a computer. It gets input, it studies the input and makes connections and programs to derive solutions out of it and depending upon its importance the learnt data is stored in short term and long term memory. Its difficult to increase memory" power" but yes you can certainly improve your abilities to memorize things. Follow certain recommendations as below - have a relaxed mind and brain before you start memorizing anything. - go through the topic as a whole in a few minutes, then divide it in parts accordingly, try to locate gist of every part and make connections in parts. There are no" memory power increasing foods" but dry fruits like walnuts are said to improve memory according to some studies. You can try it on your own.

It is a psychological disorder. It needs medication based on patient condition. Medication is required as well as psychological counselling required. If patient is normal stage. Psychotherapy is enough. I think you take medication part only. Medication it will work on internal aspects. After medication also you may develop fear on particular disease means you need psychological counselling. In this case no need of alert faculties and etc. Psychotherapy and behaviour modification therapy will help to modify your thoughts. It is better to consult psychologist. No need of fear about it. You can spend with your family happily. You need to change your thought process. After medical treatment you may develop fear means you need psychological counselling. Psychological counselling is a permanent therapy. It modifies your total personality. Do not think too much about it. Better to spend most of the time with your family members. Share your thoughts and feelings with your family members. Be happy all the time. Be sociable. Be enjoy every movement of life. Ok all the best.

If you want better results while studying, revision is the key. Repeated revision consolidates the information in the brain and helps to retain the information. Other than that, try a daily exercise of recalling your entire day in as much detail as possible before you sleep. Initially only important or superficial details are recalled, but with practice minor details can also be recalled. Be more organized; make lists. Use acronyms and mnemonic devices to help you remember. Take 45 minute slots followed by a 5-15 minute break. Eat and at proper times. Drink plenty of water. Find time for exercise or meditation. Keep time for proper revision at end of study session. Revise before you sleep.

If you are angry, then you need to manage your anger and channelise it properly. You lose your temper on him because you know that he is sweet and will not retaliate back. This is called displacement of emotions. You need to take out your anger on the person with whom you are actually angry. Sort out your issues with that person. If you continue to behave like this, you might just lose him completely. When you are apologising, try to be genuine without giving justification of your actions. Listen to what he has to say. Give him time to accept your apology. Don' t expect everything to happen the way you want it to be. Counselling helps in assertive communications and mending broken relationships.
