I am 33 and have a back problem had an accident in 2006 had injured my back but now some time have a tremendous pain near hip and backbone joint the pain is unbearable. When I sleep saliva comes out of mouth while sleeping. I had some infection problem with my appendix which after being admit was taken care but sometime I have pain at the same point in my stomach which is unbareable. Kindly suggest.

Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos any way take caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days x 5days do back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take you may have to use lumbosacral support for some time. Avoid painful act/activities. Take medicines as prescribed it may have to be further investigated. Try cyra 20mg od x 5 for pain abdomen if no relief, consult a physician.

Hello, you are under weight by 20 kg. You suffered colic due to irregular intake and inadequate sleep, wrong posture of sitting and sleeping. Hello doctor. I am 22 years old(weight-54kg, ht-4 foot 11inch) I took some homeopathic powders(in 2013) for just one month for height increase. I gained 2 inch and 2kg weight and also increase in breast tissue. Please suggest me something for height increase without further increse in breast mass.

Since she may not be in a position to communicate properly, take her for a full medical check up to rule out any other condition that may be causing this situation. If that is clear, then take her to a school for the differently enabled and meet with the doctor there who is qualified to communicate with her and find out what might be the reason for her change. You mention nothing about the mother, is she around? did something happen in the family recently that might have affected her so? her own awareness will not be of the best level. Normally, in such circumstances, the other house members are more alert to her developments and may know something that you are not aware about. Kindly make some inquiries to get more details. The feeling she displays may be right but the reason may be suspect and for that someone who knows her well will be able to throw some light.

There is no system in the body by which any medicines/concoctions can travel inside the body and burn fat. Body fat is accumulation of excess food a person has consumed. Such excess fat can only be burnt by Intensive exercise. Just like the petrol in a car can only be consumed if the car moves. Avoid spending money/time over such Magical Weight reduction stuff. Because none of it works. Healthy diet and daily exercise is the only way out. If excess food is the problem. Then reduction of food is the solution.

Hello Veena, Back acne can treated by scrubbing gently with body puff followed by rinsing your back with apple cider vinegar . Try to wear only cotton clothes . Dear mam, fibroadenoma of breast is a hormone related disease and since you are young, you can get ultrasound of both breast and be on followup. usually it does not disappear on its own and has to be surgically removed but for time being you can simply follow it up with regular interval ultrasound to know its size and if there is any increase.

Hello Doctor, I am from ahmedabad I recently got married, my wife's period date was 11th but due to pooja and wedding function she had taken tablet for extend the period time. after 1 week she had her period. And during this period we had physically without any protection so I give her unwanted 72 tablet, Her period had around 18-24 july, 2016 Now after 1 week she is having bleeding so can you please suggest about it, also I am little bit confused that is she pregnant or Not. Also suggest should I consult or visit gynecologist or not ? Please reply fast on this.

She might not be pregnant but a bit irregular period. If the bleeding is more consult a gynaecologist. Otherwise wait for the next cycle and see. Instead of taking pills afterwards try to have protected sex if you want to delay pregnancy. There are many options available and you can adopt one method which will suit you.

How to prevent loss of hair and to control the whitening of hair within short term.
Hi. It's normal to lose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg, eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin), different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. Walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regularly massage head and hair with coconut oil, almond oil (depending upon your scalp type) 1 to 3 times a week. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you fit and young! Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Schwabe's Acid Phos. 200, Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week. After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, you can take one tablet of multivitamin Folli Hair once daily for 1 month.

* Take full rest & do not do any work at all. *Check your temperature twice a day. If the temperature is 100°F then take a tablet of Crocin (Paracetamol). *Do not take any antibiotic in starting. * Take 5 leaves of Tulsi and small piece of ginger. Crush them & boil in a glass of waterfor 2-3 minutes. Drink it twice a day to treat the fever. * If the fever do not lower down after taking crocin, then put the cloth/ bandage soaked in tap water and put on forehead and change it after 2-3 minutes. Do that until the temprature lower down. Do not use ice cold water for this. *Eat only light and easy digested food only. Avoid fried foods, meat, eggs, cheese. *If the fever do not lower down even after 3 days, then go to nearest hospital and test the blood for Malaria, Typhoid, Dengue and viral fever. Avoid from sudden change in temperature. Do not stay in Air condition, wear full sleeve clothes and cover your body on rest.

During orthodontic treatment brushing can not be done properly because the wires and brackets. So avoid colourful food and use mouthwash regularly so that chromogenic bacteria may not grow. Get teeth cleaned every 2 nd month during this period of braces.

How to Increase Your Height

Those who are of average or short height often wish they were taller. Being tall can improve how a person feels about himself or herself. People with short height, particularly men, may be self-conscious about it and feel less confident.

A person's height is determined to a great extent by genetics, but it is not necessarily the only determinant. There is a hormone in the body known as Human Growth Hormone (HGH) that regulates height. HGH is produced by the pituitary gland and is highly essential for the growth of long bones and cartilage.

Several other factors play a key role in determining height, such as smoking during pregnancy, poor post-natal care, low birth weight and poor health during childhood.

Often people think that they stop growing when they enter adulthood. But a person can grow a few inches taller even after turning 18. This can be done by incorporating some healthy habits into your lifestyle.

Here are the top 10 ways to increase your height.

1. Take Ashwagandha

According to Ayurveda, ashwagandha (scientific name: Withania somnifera), also known as Indian ginseng, helps increase height.

Take Ashwagandha to Help Increase Your Height

Ashwagandha contains various minerals that broaden the bone skeleton as well as its density. This, in turn, increases your height. You can easily find ashwagandha in an herbal store.

Mix two tablespoons of ashwagandha powder in a glass of warm cow's milk.
Add sugar or jaggery according to your taste and mix well.
Drink it every night before going to bed, at least for 45 days to increase your height.
Note: For this remedy to work, you must avoid fast food completely.

2. Drink Milk

Milk is rich in calcium, an important mineral for bone growth. Calcium also acts as a height booster. Besides calcium, milk has vitamin A and protein that are essential for overall development of the body, including height.

To increase your height by a few inches, drink at least two to three glasses of milk daily. In addition, eating dairy foods like cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt and cream can have an effect on height.

3. Indulge in Yoga

You can also do some yoga to increase your height naturally. Certain yoga exercises facilitate the release of growth-inducing hormones in the body. Yoga also helps release stress that causes tension in the back muscles, which in turn paves the way for maximum growth.

4. Stretch Your Body

Stretching is another effective way to enhance height at any age. Try to stretch your body by standing on your toes for a few minutes daily, several times a day. Other stretching exercises that you can try at home include car stretch, super stretch, cobra stretch, bow down, twists and basic leg stretch.

With regular stretching, you can add one or two inches to your height. Plus, it will help improve your posture.

5. Engage in Exercise and Sports

Exercise and sports stimulate the release of growth hormone that contributes to your height. To enjoy good height, you must exercise regularly and take part in sports activities.

One good exercise to increase height is skipping where you need to jump a lot. Do skipping for at least 30 minutes each day in an open area.

Holding onto a horizontal bar and hanging with your spine stretched out is another effective exercise to facilitate height gain. Stay in the position for 10 seconds and repeat at least six times daily.

Plus, play games like tennis and basketball that require you to jump a lot. This will help increase your height and also help in maintaining ideal body weight.

Also indulge in outdoor activities, like cycling and swimming, on a regular basis to enjoy the good height and a toned body.

6. Get Proper Sleep

When you rest, the body grows and regenerates tissues. In fact, the Human Growth Hormone (HGH) responsible for increasing height is produced naturally in the body when you have a sound and deep sleep.

During sound sleep, the brain is relaxed and releases more growth hormones. On the other hand, a tired brain shows the low release of growth hormones. As a rule, during the growing stage, a person must have at least eight to 11 hours of proper sleep every night to enjoy maximum height.

7. Eat a Balanced Diet

It has been found that lack of proper nutrients is one of the leading causes behind people failing to reach their maximum height. To get proper nutrition, follow a balanced diet. Essential nutrients like zinc, manganese, vitamin C, protein, potassium, calcium, and phosphorus provide the required stimulus for increasing height.

A daily diet should contain fresh leafy greens and colored vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, whole grains, and low-fat dairy products, all in their proper proportions.

8. Enjoy Sunlight

Sunlight is the best natural source of vitamin D, a key nutrient needed for overall growth, including maximum height. When your body does not get enough vitamin D, you can have weak bones as well as less height. To make sure your body gets the required amount of this vitamin, spend 20 to 30 minutes daily in the sunlight.

Go out in the sun during early morning or evening hours to give your body vitamin D with minimal exposure to harmful ultraviolet rays.

Along with sunlight, you can get vitamin D from milk, cheese, eggs, oily fish, and fortified foods.

9. Practice Good Posture

A good posture plays a key role in the development of your height. A good posture is one where the head and neck are aligned without any sign of bending or slouching.

This type of posture straightens out your spine, relaxes your muscles and helps improve your height. On the other hand, a bad posture makes your spinal cord bend, which in turn suppresses your normal height.

So, make sure to sit straight on a chair and keep your shoulders straight and chin high. When you stand or walk, keep your body straight and tight.

10. Drink Plenty of Water

Try to drink ample amounts of water throughout the day. Water flushes out harmful toxins from your body and improves digestion. Plus, it will improve your metabolism rate, which will have a direct impact on your height.

For overall health, drink at least eight glasses of water every day. Along with drinking water, eat water-based fruits and vegetables like cucumbers and watermelon.

Additional Tips:

Try to maintain ideal body weight - as obesity can have an adverse effect on your height.
Stop smoking as it acts as a growth inhibitor.
Avoid drinking as it suppresses your growth level.
Avoid eating fast foods.

.Take 11 guava leaves, 11 black pepper, 1 cup milk and one cup water. Put all of them in pot and boil it well, when it reduced to one cup, drink in empty stomach. Take this daily for at least six months or a year. 2.Boil cumin seeds in water and inhale the steam. It helps dilate the bronchial passage. 3.Take 5 gm of ginger, black pepper, cardamom, clove, cinnamon, turmeric and 30 gm of sugar. Grind the mix to a powder. Take half to one teaspoonful and mix it nicely with honey. Take it twice a day 4.Pulses like old rice (rice which is stored for at least one year is called old), wheat, barley, kulattha, mung beans, arhar beans, etc . should be consumed. 5.Honey, warm drinks like herbal teas, spice teas are also okay. 6.Sprouts, nuts and seeds can be taken in moderate amount. 7.The heavy foods and those which make ama should be avoided. This mainly includes milk products like cheese, curd, butter milk, creams, and banana, etc. 8.Oily, greasy and fried foods which are difficult to digest should be avoided. 9.White flour and white sugar products should be avoided. 10.In addition, try to avoid the cold foods, cold drinks and other refrigerated things. 11.Avoid excessive or physically demanding exercise. Yoga and Pranayama can be helpful. 12. Send ur Xray reportin order to start herbal medication.

There is in ayurveda mention pinda swed .it is a type of swedan karma [phomentation] but it do some another manner. 1.boiled a rice in milk then take this rice in one white cloth then tied it properly and warmly it rub on your face every morning for 15 days then stop it and do next month again 2.apply almond oil on your face and massage for 3-5 min at night. By doing above thing you will get good result.

Dear, First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket . And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back . you may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * Gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * Surya Namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * In diet vegetable protein of cereal , B complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.
