If you have low back pain and sciatica you can undergo intermittent pelvic traction where in your half of your body weight will be added in the electronic traction so that that would help you to reduce the pain, along with Interferential therapy stimulations which would help you to get relieved from the radiating pain. Apply ice for the pain to get subsided immediately. If you cannot go immediately for the physiotherapy treatment. Ice can be kept in the low back where you have back pain. Dear lybrate-user, if the weight gain has increased drastically without making any evident change in food and other physical activities. I recommended you to get your thyroid levels checked. Still for basic weight loss to be achieved maintains a balanced diet of not more than 1500 calories per day. 1. Refined sugars in coffee and tea should be completely stopped, shift to multigrain chapatti instead of only wheat based and have more complex crabs in your snacks time like roasted grain and salads. 2.2serving of fruits should be included but keep the serving size maximum to 1 at one time. 3. Include 1-2 portions of proteins in form of tofu, paneer, sprouts and oat meals daily in the evening time to manage the intake of carbohydrates after 7: 30 pm. 4. Maintain a good balanced of carbohydrates, fats and protein to the ratio and include a cardio session of 45 mins daily for at least 5 days a week to maintain a good health overall.

This is a behavioral problem like sleep walking, the person is not aware of urinating in bed, do not remind her or embarass her. Reassure her, wake her up in sleep and tell her to go to toilet. Reduce fluid intake 3 hours before going to sleep, let her go to toilet just before sleep. No medicines, as they are addictive and carry lots of side effects though some doctors are prescribing.

Please don't use any creams or lotions. It suppress the sebum secretion and block the pores which leads to bacterial contamination and results in more pimples. A certain intensity of stress is must for productivity but when it goes on for months it affects your health. It may seem that there’s nothing you can do about stress. There is always stress to change or challenge. But you learn to manage by practising healthy ways. In fact, the simple realisation that you’re in control of your life is the foundation of stress management. Managing stress is all about taking charge of your thoughts, emotions, schedule, and the way you deal your situations.

The first step in managing stress is recognising it in your life. Everyone feels stress in a different way. You may get angry or irritable, lose sleep, or have headaches or stomach. You should learn your own body and identify your symptoms and identify the situations that cause you stress. These are called stressors. Your stressors could be family, work, relationships, money or health problems. Once you understand where your stress is coming from, you can come up with ways to deal with your stressors.

You feel stressed, you may fall back on unhealthy behaviours to help you relax. These may include eating too much, smoking cigarettes, drinking alcohol or using drugs, sleeping too much or not sleeping enough. These behaviours may help you feel better at first, but they may hurt you more than they help.

Avoid stressful situations. When you can, remove yourself from the source of stress. Change your outlook. Try to develop a more positive attitude towards challenges. Replace negative thoughts with positive ones. For example, rather than thinking, “Why does everything always go wrong?” change this thought to, “I can find a way to get through this.” Keep stress from making you sick by learning healthy ways .The first step in managing stress is recognising it in your life. Everyone feels stress in a different way. What are your signs of stress? Once you know the signals, recognize the things you can’t change. For example, you have a spastic child which can’t change. But you should have courage to handle the situation in much more positive way that’s is the wisdom of life. Nurture positivity. Positive people are assertive, confidant, happy and humane and they have right emotional wellness. The negative people have low self esteem, are fearful, unhappy and have poor emotional wellness. These are the people who suffer from stress the most. They are fearful, stressful and judgemental. Stress gives anxiety. Anxiety gives restlessness, depression and poor coping mechanism.

A good stress control is must for optimum wellness. First and foremost one should practice talking to oneself on daily basis for at least 10 minutes. This will help to keep a balance between expressive and repressive emotions. Do a daily auto laboratory check, identify strength, overcome weakness by playing strength over weakness. A daily auto mind body check will control anger, frustration, guilt and fear.

Once you are done with your analysis, practise zero feeling though 360 degree wellness practice. This involves physical, mental, emotional, environmental, social and spiritual wellness practices. Stress management needs a daily programme and it should be a habit. Daily systematic practice helps you start your day from zero.

Start a stress diary. A stress diary can help you identify the regular stressors in your life and the way you deal with them. Each time you feel stressed, keep track of it in your journal. As you keep a daily log, you will begin to see patterns and common themes.

Write down:

What caused your stress (make a guess if you’re unsure). How you felt, both physically and emotionally. How you acted in response. What you did to make yourself feel better.

Dealing with Stressful Situations: The Four A’s

A. Change the situation: Avoid the stressor or alter the stressor

B. Change your reaction: Adapt to the stressor or accept the stressor

Practice following steps to overcome stress

Talk to yourself and say I will, I must and I can do
Think of your strengths and weaknesses and now toss your mind
Set your priorities
Delegate responsibilities
Do a proper time management
See the bigger picture, see failure as an event not as failure. Learn from mistakes
Love and pamper yourself
Focus on fitness, do regular brisk activity. Walking, swimming, tread mill, gardening, sweat adequately. Sweat releases feel good hormone called endorphins. Endorphins improve wellness.
Rest and relax. Breathing techniques help relaxation. Annapani sati, Buddhist meditation, do bramhari or do Om chanting . These practices create resonance in your higher mind and helps release of feel good hormones
Breathing exercises mainly abdominal breathing, Kapalbhati increases your parasympathetic activity and counters your sympathetic activity. Do breathing in exercises like Anulom Vilom and do sequential eye, cervical, spinal and finger a toe exercises. Rest in sharvangasana
Eat right. Eat a diet rich in complex carbohydrates with low glycemic index, high protein, plenty of fruits and vegetables. Drink ten glasses of water. Have a sumptuous break fast, take small frequent meals.
Do an auto cognitive behaviour analysis and remove negative thoughts.
Practise visual imagery, feel good by running through your nostalgic photo album
Talk to people, develop dialogue and seek help.
Play games, games relax and make you positive
Develop a hobby
Listen to music
Follow good sleep hygiene, stick to one time to bed, take bath before sleep
Laughing helps
If your can’t manage stress on your own, consider seeing a therapist or counsellor.

Hi lybrate-user, I appreciate you seeking help. For some reason (s) that you have not specified in your question, you have not been able to sleep for 2 days. Consequently, you seem to be excessively stressed out and hence the headache. First and foremost, I would advise you to relax and get a good sleep for a couple of hours in a stretch. Sleep is the best medicine that shall give you a complete relaxation and most likely you will feel much better then after. In order that you feel well and get a restful sleep, I would recommend you the following - (a) apply'pain balm' (from'himalaya') topically on your forehead, twice daily or sos as needed. (b) try light tapotement on your head for 15 to 20 minutes. You may either take help of a trained masseur or someone else can also help you with the same. (c) press the heads of both your thumbs, together, tightly, for a couple of minutes and then release. The above-mentioned should mostly address your current issues. Keep me posted on how you feel. राह चलते कोई महिला अपने गुप्तांगो की तरफ अगर हाथ फिराए तो इस सिचुएशन पर उसे खुद और देखने वालों दोनों को ही ऑकवर्ड फील होने लगता है। और अगर ऐसा ना भी महसूस हो तो भी जरा सोचिए कि आप कहीं किसी काम में लगे हैं मॉर्केट, मीटिंग, ऑफिस, परिवार के साथ, डेट पर कहीं भी और बीच-बीच में आपके गुप्तांगो में भयानक इचिंग हो रही है। आप कहीं भी चैंन से बैठ नही पाते। इचिंग की वजह से जलन और झुंझलाहट दोनों अपनी हद्द पर कर चुके होते हैं। और समय के साथ कोई उपचार न करने पर ये तकलीफ बढ़ती ही जाएगी। इसी तकलीफ को हम वजाइनल इंफेक्शन यानि योनि संक्रमण के नाम से जानते हैं। और यह संक्रमण कभी भी किसी को भी हो सकता है। 

योनि संक्रमण कोई गंभीर बीमारी नहीं है लेकिन यह महिलाओं को काफी परेशान अवश्य करता है। इस्ट औऱ फंगस हमारे वेजिना में स्वाभाविक रूप से मौजूद होता हैं, लेकिन जब इनकी असामान्य रूप से संख्या में वृद्धि होने लगती है तो यह वेजिना में संक्रमण के कारण बनते हैंइस फंगस का नाम कैन्डिडा अल्बाईकंस होता है जो योनि में संक्रमण उत्पन्न कर सकता है। एक स्वस्थ योनि में बैक्टीरिया ज़्यादा होते हैं और खमीर की कोशिकाएं कम और यह बैक्टीरिया जिसे लैक्टोबैसिलस एसिडोफिलस कहते हैं खमीर की मात्रा को कम करता है। कभी कभी एंटीबायोटिक्स लेने से भी इन जीवाणुओं में वृद्धि होती है और संक्रमण की प्रक्रिया शुरू हो जाती है। अन्य कारण जिनसे ये संक्रमण फैलता है वे हैं गर्भावस्था के दौरान एस्ट्रोजन का स्तर, हॉर्मोन बदलने की पद्दति, डायबिटीज या एड्स।

योनि संक्रमण के लक्षण 

  • योनि में खुजली या सूजन
  • पेशाब या सेक्स केरने के दौरान दर्द और जलन होना 

एक सर्वे के मुताबिक लगभग 90% महिलाएं योनि संक्रमण की समस्या से जूझती हैं। जिसके लिए हमारी लाइफस्टाइल, खाना-पान, पहनावा और लापरवाही जिम्मेदार हैं। ऐसा नहीं की ये तकलीफ जानलेवा है या पर जिसे हो जाए उसका पूरा समय हर्रास्मेंट वाली फीलिंग से गुजरना पड़ता है। अब समस्या है तो जरूरी है इससे राहत पाने के या इससे बचने के नुस्खे अपनाए जाए तो चलिए आज हम जानते हैं योनि संक्रमण से बचने के कुछ अचूक नुस्खे। 

1. रेगुलर पेड चेंज करें
सैनिटरी नैपकिन या टैम्पोन को ज्यादा देर तक लगाए रखने से आपकी वेजिना में नमी होने लगती हैं। जिसके कारण आपको संक्रमण की समस्या हो सकती हैं। इसलिए पीरियड्स के दौरान हर 4-5 घण्टे के भीतर ही सैनिटरी नैपकिन या टैम्पोन को बदलती रहें।

2. सुगंधित वजाइनल प्रोडक्ट्स यूज़ करने से बचें
सुगंधित सैनिटरी नैपकिन और टैम्पोन का इस्तेमाल करना तुरन्त बंद कर दें। क्योकि इनकी खुशबू से वजाइना में जीवाणुओं का एक असंतुलन बन सकता है और इसी से वेजिना में संक्रमण का खतरा बनने लगता है। और इसी कारण डॉक्टर भी खुशबूदार सैनिटरी नैपकिन या टैम्पोन का यूज करने से रोकते हैं।

3. रोजना खाएं दही
दही एक ऐसा आहार है जो स्वस्थ बैक्टीरिया से भरा हुआ होता है और इस कारण यह आपके वजाइना को संक्रमण से भी सुरक्षित रखता है। अच्छे बैक्टीरिया वेजिना मे होने वाले संक्रमण को रोकने में मदद करते है तो अच्छा होगा की आप प्रतिदिन एक कप दही का जरुर खाएं इससे स्वास्थ भी अच्छा बना रहेगा और योनि में भी किसी भी तरह की समस्या नही होगी।

4. गर्म पानी से ना नहाएं
वजाइना में इन्फेक्शन की समस्या ज्यादा नम और गर्म स्थिति में भी होती हैं। अगर आपकी वेजिना के क्षेत्र में गर्मी बनी रहेगी तो आपको संक्रमण की समस्या हो सकती है। अगर आप चाहती है कि आपको इस तरह की समस्या ना हो तो ठंडे पानी से ही स्नान करें, तथा अगर आप गर्म पानी का इस्तेमाल करती भी है तो उसके बाद हमेशा ढीले कपड़े ही पहने।

5. तनाव मुक्त रहें
किसी भी बीमारी या संक्रमण के बढने की सबसे अहम वजह है तनाव में रहना। इसलिए तनाव से बचने की कोशिश करें।शरीर को पूरा आराम नहीं मिलता है, तो शरीर की प्रतिरक्षा प्रणाली कमजोर हो जाती है, जिसके कारण आपका स्वास्थ खराब हो जाता हैं। इसलिए अपने शरीर को आराम दें रोजाना कम से कम 7-8 घंटे की नींद जरूर लें।

6. जरूरत से ज्यादा न करें वजाइना की सफाई
वैसे तो संक्रमण को रोकने के लिए वजाइना को क्लीन और हेल्दी रखना बहुत जरुरी होता है। पर वजाइना को रफ़ साबुन से न साफ करें। क्योकि वजाइना काफी सेंसिटिव होता है इसलिए अपने वजाइना ले सॉफ्टनेस क्व अनुसार ही सॉफ्ट साबुन या इसके लिए स्पेसिफिक एंटी बैक्टीरिया लिक्विड वाश का इस्तेमाल करें। 

7. एंटीबायोटिक दवाओं से परहेज करें
अक्सर लोग बैक्टीरिया को खत्म करन के लिए एंटीबायोटिक्स का यूज़ करते हैं। पर एंटीबायोटिक्स का ज्यादा इस्तेमाल शरीर में मौजूद अच्छे बैक्टीरिया खत्म को खत्म कर देता हैं। इसलिए जितना हो सके उतना एंटीबायोटिक दवाओं के सेवन से कम इस्तेमाल करें। हमेशा डॉक्टर की सलाह लेकर ही यूज़ करें।

8. कॉटन पैंटी ही पहनें 
सूती पैंटी की यह खासियत होती हैं कि यह वजाइना में होने वाली नमी को ऑब्जर्व कर लेता है इतना ही नहीं इससे वजाइनल एरिया तक पर्याप्त मात्रा में हवा भी पहुंचती हैं। जबकि लाइक्रा या नायलॉन की अंडरवियर को पहनने से पसीना आता है और किण्व का प्रजनन होने लगता है जिससे वजाइना में संक्रमण होने की संभावना ज्यादा होती है। इसलिए हमेशा सूती पैंटी ही पहनें। और हो सके तो अपने सभी कपड़े कॉटन ही रखें इससे आप तो कंफेर्टबले रहेंगे ही साथ ही वजाइनल इंफेक्शन से भी बचे रहेंगे।

9. हेल्दी डाइट लें

  • जब हमारे शरीर में जरूरी पोषक तत्वों की कमी होती है तो हमारा शरीर कीटाणुओं और एंटीबॉडी से हमारी रक्षा करने में सक्षम नहीं हो पाता हैं। इसलिए डाइट में पोषक तत्वों को शामिल करें। 
  • इंस्टेंट आराम पाने के लिए कपूर और नारियल तेल लगाए आराम मिलेगा।
  • पर ध्यान रहे की अगर इन नुस्खों को अपनाने के बाद भी आराम नहीं मिले तो डॉक्टर से सम्पर्क करें।

Dear user, You must be able to understand Concentration, attention span, recollection and distraction. If you are able to watch a movie for two hours continuously, if you are able to play a game for an hour, then you do not have any concentration problems. You can't be attentive towards your studies because you are not interested in it. You are able to watch movie and play game because you are interested in it. Human cannot be attentive towards anything for more than 10 minutes. Then you should study in such a way that your attention is continued and make the subjects are interesting to you. Effective learning techniques should help you. Recollection depends on anxiety, stress and other physical and circumstantial factors. Distractions while studying are plentiful. You should be able to overcome distractions or avoid distractions. Please understand the above. Change your study style and attitude accordingly. Please post a private question to me and I will help you with "effective learning" techniques. Avocados, Beetroots, Blueberries, Broccoli. Celery, Coconut Oil, Dark Chocolate etc are good for improving concentration. Take care.

There are several things you can do to prevent a cold—they are all easy and inexpensive and worth the effort. Wash your hands often-with soap and warm water.The germs stick to the soap and get washed down the drain. Always wash your hands after coughing or sneezing into your hands, blowing your nose, after touching someone who is sick, or when using public restrooms or telephones. Cover Your Mouth and Nose When You Sneeze or Cough- Clean your hands every time you cough or sneeze. Avoid Touching Your Eyes, Nose, or Mouth-Germs are often spread when a person touches a contaminated surface and then touches their eyes, nose, or mouth. Stay Home When You’re Sick-Get plenty of sleep, be physically active, don’t smoke, manage stress, drink plenty of fluids, and eat nutritious food so you can fend off viruses. Take healthy balanced diet...like boiled eggs.daily in breakfast .. Avoid people who have a cold or cold symptoms. Routinely clean and disinfect common areas of your home. Treatment:There is a gradual 1-3 day onset of symptoms. It often starts out as a sore throat, then a fever and coughing. As the cold progresses, the nasal mucus may thicken which is the last stage before the cold dries up. A cold usually lasts for a week or two. But, taking good care of yourself at home can relieve symptoms and help prevent complications if you are otherwise healthy. Unless you develop complications, you shouldn’t need medical treatment. Complications include bacterial infections of the ears, throat, sinuses or lungs which must be treated with antibiotics. In general you should: • get plenty of rest so your body can use its energy to fight the cold • staying at home will keep you from spreading germs • drink plenty of liquids like herbal tea or hot broth/vegetable/tomato soups. Avoid foods or drinks with caffeine which can keep you from getting enough sleep Runny Nose and Sneezing- if you have post nasal drip, gargle to keep from getting a sore throat. Drink extra fluids. (avoid sugary and high calorie drinks) Use saline nasal sprays or nasal irrigation • Tablet Nasorest-P once/twice daily may reduce the amount of mucous. • Humidify the rooms you are in most or your whole house if possible. Cough-Coughing is how your body gets rid of debris and mucus from the airways during a viral infection. Unless your cough is severe or is keeping you from resting at night, it is better not to treat it. A severe cough can be treated with a cough syp, but don’t try to completely stop the cough. There are two types of coughs. Productive and non-productive or dry cough. Non-productive, dry cough. A dry, hacking cough may develop near the end of a cold. Dry coughs that follow viral colds are often worse at night and can last up to several weeks. Take syrup Alex-D for a dry cough. Cough drops can sooth an irritated throat, but most don’t affect the cough. Productive cough. A productive cough is one that brings up mucus from the back of the throat or the lungs. Productive coughs should not be suppressed to the point they no longer bring up mucus. Use syrup Alex. Drink lots of water if you have a productive cough. Head and Body Aches- Take tablet dolo-650 mg for fever once or twice daily
