Hello sir/Mem, My back bone are very painful in last 2-3 month. Please best suggestion shortly.

Hello sir/Mem,
My back bone are very painful in last 2-3 month.
Please best suggestion shortly.
It looks like you are anaemic. If you have back pain after you sit for long hours then it is due to your haemoglobin levels as it is important to check that. Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having back / leg pain though there may not be any pathological reasons for back pain. The lower end of the vertebral column is inflamed and that bone is called coccyx bone and the condition is called Coccydynia. The conservative management would be to keep ice in that inflamed area during one time in a day and also to sit in a hot water bowl where the penetration of the heat would help to reduce the inflammation. And to reduce the weight falling on the inflammed surface we suggest patients to use air cushion pillow (also called as doughnut pillow) where in the buttock's weight will not fall exactly on the painful tail bone and that would automatically reduce the pain.

If you are planning on undergoing laser hair removal, you should limit plucking, waxing, and electrolysis for six weeks before treatment. That's because the laser targets the hairs' roots, which are temporarily removed by waxing or plucking. You should also avoid sun exposure for six weeks before and after treatment.

I am taking medication for high BP for more than 15 years. With medicine my BP is 145/74. I take less salt. I want to know how to regulate BP with food. Can there be some indications of the BP when we get up in the morning so that I can regulate my food intake in the day and control it?

Both diet control and medications are required to control blood pressure. It should be less than 140/90.

I am not able to gain weight. Why is this happening. please suggest ways to gain weight.

I am not able to gain weight. Why is this happening. please suggest ways to gain weight.
Hi here are 6 ways to gain weight healthily: 1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drink your calories to reach the calorie requirement only by eating may be tough. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit.

Hi, I need to you ask how can I reduce my fat in body. So can you please give me a good suggestion. Thank you.
Dear friend, try to avoid food containing high calories. Add some salads and a lot of water in your daily diet. Start some physical exercise like running, swimming etc as you can easily do. Some medicines may be given to help on your choice. Tell your progress after one month to guide further or ask if any questions.

I am 32 year old male and have sugar more for the last 6 months. What should I do?

I am 32 year old male and have sugar more for the last 6 months. What should I do?
If you have been diagnosed of having diabetes, then proper treatment has to be initiated with either oral antidiabetes drugs or insulin depending on sugar levels. In addition a changed life style has to be adapted like - regular exercise every day for more than 1 h, avoiding sweets, direct sugar, deep fried foods, fruits like mango, chikoo, grapes and bananas and also avoid smoking & alcohol. Plus maintain weight near normal (ideal body weight = height in cms - 100 x 0.9 = ibw kg). Waist line should be 85 cms.

Hello doctor my self prerna I am 28 year old woman I have suffering from fever last night what should I do please tel...
Fever is not considered medically significant until body temperature is above 100.4 F (38 C). Fever serves as body's natural defences against bacteria and viruses which cannot live at higher temperatures. Also, the body's defence mechanisms seem to work more efficiently at a higher temperature -Fevers of 104 F (40 C) or higher may be dangerous and demand immediate treatments like: -Acetaminophen (dolo-650 mg) twice or thrice can be used to lower a fever . Aspirin should not be used for fever in children/ adolescents or during a viral illness. -Wear loose fitting clothes and don’t overdress. Overdressing can cause temperature to rise further. -Tepid water (85 F [30 C]) baths may help bring down a fever  -The body should be cooled with a wet sponge. -A fever can cause severe dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids.. Have citrus fruits, particularly Vitamin C rich ones like mausami, Amla juice etc.  -Take light and easily digestible home cooked meals like sprouts.avoid outside food -Wash hands frequently with soap and water especially after returning from public places or public transport.

Hi , number of causative factors for hairfall; like fungal infections on scalp, excessive oily secretions on scalp, some hormonal imbalances, nutritional deficiencies etc. Nothing to worry. Homoeopathy is the permanent solution for hairfall. May I know howlong are you suffering from this problem?

Causes of leukoplakia can include: Irritation from rough teeth, fillings, or crowns, or ill-fitting dentures that rub against your cheek or gum. Chronic smoking, pipe smoking, or other tobacco use. Sun exposure to the lips.Oral leukoplakia (OL) is a white patch or plaque that cannot be rubbed off, cannot be characterized clinically or histologically as any other condition, and is not associated with any physical or chemical causative agent except tobacco. Therefore, a process of exclusion establishes the diagnosis of the disease.Chronic hyperplastic candidiasis or candidal leukoplakia is a persistent white lesion, characterised histologically (under the microscope) by parakeratosis (increased keratin production) and chronic intra-epithelial (within skin cells) inflammation with fungal hyphæ (shape of fungus) invading the superficial layers of the epithelium (skin).

What the doctor has prescribed is vitamins. Sometimes all the requirements might not be met in the food you are giving so they are supplementing it. Continue as told later on can reduce frequency.
