I am suffering from cough from last 3 months. But when it started, was come with runny nose like cold and cough. Then I consult a doctor and he prescribed me allergy medicines. After than cold was over but cough has not gone completely. And again I consult a doctor he prescribed me acid reflux leading to LPR that's why I have cough. Now I cough only few times a day very slightly and there is pain in one side upper back. Suggest me what should I do?

You have to improve your food habits do 1. Take 2/ 3 glass of warm water in the morning before brush 2. Take more water in day 3. Take meals at fixed hrs, chew food properly/ completely, no eating quickly 4. Take small amount of food at a time, take more frequent meals - may be five times a day. 5. No spicy/ fried/ fast/ junk/processed food. 6. No smoking, chewing gum, and carbonated beverages. 6. No milk for few days, can take curd, no uncooked salad 7. Avoid constipation 8. Use nibu pani (lemon water) 2/ 3 times a day 9. Do not drink/ store water in plastic bottles. 10. Relax and walk for 30 mts daily 11. Take enough rest- do not lie down immediately after eating. Take dinner 3 hrs before sleeping. No late nights 11. Keep your weight under control. 13. Avoid tea, coffee, alcohol 15. Reduce physical and mental stress. Maintain healthy life style. Do exercise regularly. 16. No unnecessary medicines for medicine contact on private chat.

Life saving kit in case of mi / heart attack 

A very handy kit which may protect a person from dying of sudden heart attack.
It should have following items:-
 A. Tab disprin / aspirin 4

 B. Tab glyceryl trinitrate 4

 C. G. Tri nitrate skin patch-1

 If one feels sudden tightness and pain in centre of chest, radiating to left arm or both sides of neck, accompanied by sweating and uneasiness, one is likely to be in a state of heart attack.* 

Following measures must be taken immediately:-
 A. Keeping one glyceryl tri itrate tablet under the tongue.
 B. Chewing one disprin tablet.
 C. Pealing of and sticking the skin patch on left side of chest.

 Can definitely save a person from dying immediately of a heart attack.

Every person who is at risk and above 40 years should carry this.

Out of the two nose holes, one of the holes always stays closed and the other open. The blocked side keeps changing. I have no idea of what it is. After using one spray of otrivin it gets completely open for around 10 hours.

You are suffering from upper respiratory tract allergy. You may also have swelling of nail mucosa. You should make a consultation for proper management of your allergy. Till then take regularly hot water vapour inhalation.

What medications are best for the treatment of asthma? what are their side effects?

Try the tips below:: 1.Take 11 guava leaves, 11 black pepper, 1 cup milk and one cup water. Put all of them in pot and boil it well, when it reduced to one cup, drink in empty stomach. Take this daily for at least six months or a year. 2.Boil cumin seeds in water and inhale the steam. It helps dilate the bronchial passage. 3.Take 5 gm of ginger, black pepper, cardamom, clove, cinnamon, turmeric and 30 gm of sugar. Grind the mix to a powder. Take half to one teaspoonful and mix it nicely with honey. Take it twice a day 4.Pulses like old rice (rice which is stored for at least one year is called old), wheat, barley, kulattha, mung beans, arhar beans, etc . should be consumed. 5.Honey, warm drinks like herbal teas, spice teas are also okay. 6.Sprouts, nuts and seeds can be taken in moderate amount. 7.The heavy foods and those which make ama should be avoided. This mainly includes milk products like cheese, curd, butter milk, creams, and banana, etc. 8.Oily, greasy and fried foods which are difficult to digest should be avoided. 9.White flour and white sugar products should be avoided. 10.In addition, try to avoid the cold foods, cold drinks and other refrigerated things. 11.Avoid excessive or physically demanding exercise. Yoga and Pranayama can be helpful. Herbal medicines have no side effect.

No, asthma and allergies are due to increased sensitivity of an individual against any antigen (object. These are a type of hypersensitivity reaction (class 5) usually mediated by immunoglobulins, ige. So, it is an innate problem. But, the allergens may trigger it so, it can happen even at your home too. Depends upon the type of allergen.

1. Do warm saline gurgling 3-4 times daily 2. Take viscodyne d syrup 2tsf thrice daily if it is a dry cough or viscodyne syrup if cough is associated with sputum 3. You may have to take antibiotic along with it if no relief4. Avoid smoking if you smoke.

You take Ķeva cough syrup 2 spoon in morning 2 in noon end 2 spoon in night. For pain massage Ķeva anti pain oil on painful area. For sleep massage Maha Bhringraj oil on head before going to sleep. Dr. Tare.
