(a) sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. (b) use no pillow under the head. (c) kindly take biod3 max 1 tab dailyx10 paracetamol 250mg od & sos x5days (d) do back (spine)/shoulder/knee exercises (e) make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take (f) do not ignore it. It could be beginning of a serious problem. (g) if no relief in 4_5 days, then contact me again.

Do all knee strengthening excercises. Avoid prolong sitting and standing. Avoid cross leg sitting. Hot fermentation will be good.

First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket . And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back . you may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * Gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * Surya Namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * In diet vegetable protein of cereal , B complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

Looking to your height your weight is more. For your height you can have maximum of 64 kg weight. So for a permanent solution you should reduce your weight by 14 kg. For that you can join a gym nd have some dieting. In gym you can also do some exercise which wil strength your quadriceps muscles. Which wil help to reduce youe knee pain. In addition you should take care few things. Do not use stairs as far as possible. Do not bend your knee more than 90 degree. For that stop using indian toilet. Start using western toilet. Do not sit on the floor for lunch, dinner or breakfast. Use dinning table for all this. In addition you need to take a medicine to regenerate your damaged cartilage.

5 Mistakes That Make Back Pain Worse

No one set of exercises is ideal for everyone’s back, but some general rules do apply.

Don't: perform repetitive physical activities the same way every time. 
Do: vary how you do things like carrying a heavy bag (regularly alternating shoulders changes the load on your spine).

Don't: bend and lift. 
Do: squat with your back straight, chest up. This takes pressure off your spine and helps avoid pushing out low-back disks.

Don't: sit—or stand—all the time.
Do: move around or take a walk at least once an hour.

Don't:neglect your core.
Do: strengthen key muscles that support your back: the multifidus, which runs along the spine, and the transversus abdominis, which wraps around your abdomen. Planks are great core boosters.

Don't: move in ways that feel wrong. 
Do: avoid twisting and lifting at the same time, and ask for help with heavy or awkward objects. In general, listen to the voice in your head that says I shouldn't be doing this. You know your back best!

First of all you should take rest for 1-2 days so that your body can fight with underlying infection with its full immunity and start the below medication:- take gelesemium 200, twice daily. Take eupatrium perf 200, 5 drops thrice daily. Take antifebrinum 3x, 2 tabs, thrice daily. Take alfavena malt, 1 tsf, thrice daily. Drink lots of water and take light homemade food like dalia and khichdi, avoid oily, spicy, fried, junk and cold drinks. In case of high uncontrollable fever, don't panic you should do cold sponging to lower down the temperature. If fever does not goes then go for a set of blood tests. Revert me with feedback. Back pain 1. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana? lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Hello doctor. I have a question regarding my mom. She was diagnosed with osteoporosis before a year. She has disc in back and neck also. Now she has pain in right shoulder and can not move her arm properly nor can do any heavy work with this arm. She faces problem during sleep also. Hello Lybrate user, sir the disk of neck might cause nerve compression which leads to improper nerve supply to the shoulder joint because of which the muscles of arm started getting less nutrition supply and started getting weak. Shoulder PAIN 1.Hot Fermentation over the painful shoulder for 10-15 min. Twice a day 2.Active shoulder movements within the painfree range. 10 reps 3.Wall press with shoulder anteriorly and sideways. 10 sec hold and 10 reps 4.Ultrasonic therapy over the painful point 5.Electrotherapy for 15-18 mins over the painful shoulder. 6.Precaution: Avoid sleeping on the affected shoulder, Avoid lifting any weight with the affected shoulder.
