Hello dear High triglycerides and cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Change life style .do meditation, yoga, Go walk daily, do any one physically activity daily i.e.play any game., Avoid fast foods, oily foods, junk foods, alcohol, smoking, fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress, take plenty of water in day time. And 1 glass of water before bed at night. use flax oil, omega-3 fatty meal or cap., take .green veg., whole grain. Garlic,. Cod liver oil. Take anti cholesterol medicines . Cap. Ecosprin gold-10 at night daily.

Hello. You need to be regular with the bpmedications. If regular and still bp not under control, need to revise your prescription. Having alcohol in limited amount is good, but not in excess. Do follow proper diet and exercise regime. You need to follow dash diet i. E. Diet with nuts, vegetables, fresh fruits, more of fibre, clacium, protien. Less of carbs. Less of saturated and trans fats. Include omega 3 containing foods.

Nutritional benefits of coriander or cilantro
NUTRITIONAL BENEFITS OF CORIANDER OR CILANTRO

Coriander is full of an unusual array of healing phytonutrients and anti-oxidants. Its leaves and seeds contain some amount of various essential oils that makes this herb useful for use in traditional medicines. It is anti-septic, analgesic, aphrodisiac, helps with digestion, fungicidal and a natural stimulant.
It is a very good source of vitamins A, C, K and traces of the B vitamins. In the minerals department, it provides high amount of calcium and potassium. Both of these would have already been helpful for relieving various ailments. Then there are iron, manganese and sodium.

HEALTH BENEFITS

Cilantro has such a wide variety of goodness in the little leaves, making it a very useful herb for relieving many ailments. Include a bunch into your juice regularly for its life-giving properties.

Antibiotic properties: An antibiotic compound, dodecenal, was isolated from cilantro and tested in the laboratory. The impressive result showed that it is twice as effective as the commonly used antibiotic drug gentamicin at killing the food-borne bacteria, salmonella.

Anti-cancer: The anti-oxidant properties from cilantro include beta carotene, vitamin C and E, ferulic, caffeic acid, kaempferol, and quercetin. This broad spectrum of anti-oxidant helps to lower the risk of oxidative stress in the cells that are carcinogenic (cancer-causing).

Anti-microbial properties: Cilantro contains volatile oils that have antimicrobial properties, making it a very useful herb that can be used for fungal, bacterial or yeast infections.

Anti-inflammatory properties: Cilantro is an excellent source of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. Omega 3 fatty acids is the building block for several of the body?s most widely used families of anti-inflammatory messaging molecules and many other uses.

Blood sugar: A study that was done on mice confirmed that this herb has an anti-diabetic effect and can control blood sugar. When juiced and consumed regularly, cilantro can help stimulate the secretion of insulin, thereby lowering blood sugar.

Bone Health: Cilantro is an excellent source of calcium. Calcium is a vital nutrient that is required for formation and maintenance of strong bones.

Cholesterol lowering ability: Cilantro when juiced and consumed on a regular basis can help reduce the amount of damaged fats (lipid peroxides) in the cell membranes. Studies have shown that cilantro can lower bad cholesterol level and increase the good cholesterol level.

Eyesight: The high beta-carotene and anti-oxidants in cilantro make it one of the best herbs that helps alleviate eye problems thus improving eyesight. In addition, it also help reduce the threat posed by age; associated with vision disorders such as macular degeneration, and cataract.

Heavy metal detox: Cilantro is one of the very few herbs that is used as a heavy metal detox agent, to detoxify mercury, aluminium and lead among others. Make a small bottle of neat, concentrated cilantro juice and mix with chlorella powder. Drink an ounce of the mixture every day and feel the improvement to your brain power. Store the potion in the fridge. Read more about heavy metal poisoning here.

Immune booster: The presence of anti-oxidants, rich phytonutrients, minerals and vitamins in cilantro all work syngergistically to boost the body?s overall immunity system against infection.

Insomnia: Due to the various phytonutrients and medicinal values of cilantro, it helps rebalance the internal chemicals, providing a calming effect to the nerves that enable sleep to come easier.

Kidney stones: Cilantro has a diuretic and detoxifying effect that can help lower the risk for kidney stones.

Why are my feet burning all the time.
My reports are S.Uric acid 6.0
Blood sugar 87
s.cholesterol 169.
Hi, all these reports are normal. Burning feet syndrome can be inherited, or it can be caused by pressure being put on the nerves. Links also exist between this syndrome and diseases such as hypothyroidism, diabetes, and rheumatoid arthritis; links are also believed to exist between this syndrome and vitamin b (specifically pantothenic acid) deficiencies and renal failure. Another cause could be plantar fasciitis which is an inflammation (irritation and swelling with presence of extra immune cells) of the thick tissue on the bottom of the foot that causes heel pain and disability. Medication: need to find out the cause of burning. Meantime, take becosule (b-complex)/ 1 cap. Once daily for 3 months only. Revert.

Dear lybrate-user Regulated hydration, drinking adequate water through out the day will help you overcome the uric acid. It will also relieve you of different toxins that will automatically get thrown out of the body. Ideal diets for you conditions will be a healthy portion of alkaline food daily. These include doodhi, red pumpkin, aramenthus leafy veg; pomegranate, pears, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, etc. Low intensity exercises like regular walking for 45 mins are much more useful than sudden bursts on alternate days. Start mindful meditation to calm the mind which will control BP, sugar as well as acidity regards.

Sir, I am a 32 years old male. I have been suffering from white coat hypertension what should I do?
Dear, White coat hypertension is a psychological disorder. In order to treat it, check your blood pressure at home by using digital sphygmomanometer..• Do physical exercise like jogging, running or brisk walk for atleast 20-30 minutes. • Maintain your cholesterol level to normal & eat least amount of butter, cream or fatty things. • Eat less amount of pickle, salt and fast food as they contain high sodium levels. • Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking. • Take less amount of caffine containing coffee, tea or cold drinks because caffine causes increase BP. • Drink 8 to 10 glass of water daily • Take 6 to 8 hrs of sleep daily. Do not take too much stress. • Do long breathing pranayams (Anulom- Vilom, Bhramari) daily for 10 - 15 minutes. It will reduce your stress level in your body. • Eat healthy diet such as green leafy vegetables, fruits. • Take 5 ml of GULAB Jal added in a glass of water daily once a day.

Hi doctor, I had a question about the readings I got on two separate echocardiogram reports which I took in a gap of about 5 months. Every thing in all the reports is normal. However my LVID in the most recent report has increased significantly, I'm not sure if I should be worried about this. Also I must mention that, the most recent echo report with the increased parameters was taken just a little while after a maximal stress test. Where my heart rate reached 190bpm. The stress test was normal. The older reports were taken at rest. I'm a 23 year old boy, normal weight, 5'11' Could the stress test have increased the left ventricular chamber size? I'm quite worried. My doctor says the report is fine, but he did not look at the previous report. Also, all three reports were taken by different lab technicians. Function of heart is >70% ,stress test is normal. ECG report is not the Only criteria of a heart disease. It is the most basic test , if it shows no changes about heart disease and person is suffering other tests are done, like in your case and All is Well. Reports are normal , take preventive care about food, exercise, stress and other factors like high BP that lead to heart disease.

For pain take tablet paracetamol 650 mg and for dry cough I will suggest you to take syp adulsa 5 ml and can repeat after a gap of six hours as and when required and few things related to headache so that we can plan the treatment accordingly - if pain is associated with blurred or decreased vision than check your eye sight for refractive error - if the pain is associated with cold and fever than we have to rule out sinusitis as the cause and if the pain is pulsatile in nature and with a throbbing pain usually with an aura than we have to rule out migrane as the cause - if the pain is associated with neck problems than we have to rule out cervical spondylosis as the cause - if the pain is associated with either low or high bp or due to hyperacidity than we have to treat the cause after examination.

Hypertension - Homeopathic Treatment For It!

According to statistics put forward by the world health organization, high blood pressure affects about 600 million people all over the world and causes about 5 million premature deaths every year.

High blood pressure, also known as hypertension, is many times called the silent killer as it doesn't reveal any visible damage. But it does cause significant damage to the heart, brain, eyes and kidneys.

What are the causes of hypertension?

Certain factors cause your arteries to have consistently high levels of blood pressure and based on these factors your hypertension gets classified into the following:

  • Primary hypertension: if the condition doesn't have an identifiable cause, it is known as primary hypertension. This form of high blood pressure develops slowly but surely over many years.
  • Secondary hypertension: this type of hypertension is characterized by identifiable causes that can be corrected with treatment. About 5-10% of cases in the world are secondary in nature. It is usually caused by an underlying problem and tends to appear all of a sudden.

Factors that fall under it are:

Role of homeopathy in treating high blood pressure

Apart from conventional forms of medicine, homeopathy is also considered to be an effective treatment of high blood pressure. The treatment is tailor-made to your needs as it takes into consideration your external and internal environments. This is because the experiences that you may have and the characteristics of the disease that you display are not the same as the other affected person. It works by viewing your disease as a disturbance that affects your entire body and not just a specific body part.

It not only cures blood pressure but also the reason for high blood pressure so that it does not increase again when your mind or body faces stress. If you wish to discuss any specific problem, you can consult a homeopath.
