Normally at this age the normal heartbeat may reach upto 120/min. And beyond that is the matter of worry. And if she has no symptoms regarding that and she is comfortable then not much to worry about. Though you may once consult a cardiologist for your satisfaction and get her checked.

I am suffering from cholesterol from 2 years and I want to know that is I m in risk of heart related diseases?

MBBS, MD - Internal Medicine

I am suffering from cholesterol from 2 years and I want to know that is I m in risk of heart related diseases?
high cholesterol is risky for heart. High triglycerides and CHOLESTEROL can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney.

My heartbeat is very fast and even my stress level is high kindly tell what to do.

MBBS, MD - Internal Medicine, DM - Cardiology, Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS - Physician )
Cardiologist, Delhi
My heartbeat is very fast and even my stress level is high kindly tell what to do.
It is normal for heart beat to rise in response to stress. So first please work on reducing your stress levels by yoga, meditation and counselling. Also get a ecg and echo done and show the reports to a cardiologist if these are fine then your fast heart rate is secondary to your stress & anxiety.
