I started insulin from 22 January two times. My blood urea was 53 & creatinine was 1.67 at that time. My urea is 45 & creatinine is 2.02 now. I have started loosing my memory 2-3 times a day. Is this side effects of insulin or shall I approach a neuro physician? I have been suffering from high sugar for last 18-20 years.

Hi dear madam, - it is side effects of allopathic medicines. - it will be better, if you replace these drugs with herbal drugs, for your long life. -today you r at a critical stage, but still it is possible to cure/ improve, and a little wrong step-- will cost you very much in future. - -its remedy course may need 4-6 months and its packagings are available @ 1500--3000--5000/- rs pm - any query you can consult me privately here.

I have a stone in my right kidney with the size of 12mm.so is there any effective medicine dor it pls tell me
Tips for removing kidney stones:: 1. Avoid tea, coffee, alcohol, cold drinks, pickles, fish, poultry, meat, spinach, and chocolate. 2. Avoid sour, heavy, and dry food. 3. Increase intake of liquids like water, juice, soup, lime water lemon soda etc. 4. Be sure to drink enough water each day. Usually 1 to 2 liters of water per day is adequate. 5. Drink more if you are perspiring heavily, working outdoors, the weather is hot, etc. 6. Increase the use of barley, horse gram (a type of bean), ginger, and brown rice or parboiled rice. 7. Avoid suppressing urges to urinate and defecate. 9. Boil 10-12 basil leaves in 1 cup of water for 15 minutes. Mix 1 teaspoon of honey in it and take twice a day. Pls send ur USG report becoz medication for stones depends upon size number and location of stones and can be given after USG. -b/w take 2 tsf neeri syrup with water daily

It could be a kidney stone. Take an ultrasound scan of abdomen and pelvis immediately to confirm the diagnosis. There are plenty medications to treat kidney stones / renal calculi.

I have bladder cancer (pT2). I underwent percutaneous nephrectomy owing to bilateral hydronephrosis which was delaying chemotherapy. standing could not be done as there was no voiding control and after PCN urine was collecting from the kidneys in two bags. The bags were filling normally until yesterday when the left side bag stopped filling and urine started coming into the bladder giving me pain. I would be grateful to know the reason this is happening and how serious this is.

Urine finds it's easiest path. So in stead of urine bag, urine might started comming from the ureter to urinary bladder because the effect of chemotherapy. But you should checked it done by the urologist who put the PCN.

If he is diabetic he needs strict control of diabetes. Otherwise his transplanted kidney will also fail.

Lemon contains citric acid which decreases the acidity of urine; this prevents the formation of calcium oxalate and uric acid stones. Lemon juice helps break up kidney stones and dissolves them so they can pass easily from the Kidney to the bladder through urination. Too much intake of lemon juice in a day is not good. Normal water you can drink. Daily 3-4 litres of normal water intake is recommended. Boiled and then properly cooled or Luke warm water is preferable to drink. Homoeopathic medicine like berberis, Lycopodium, Hydrangea, etc which helps to dissolve stones easily and eject out through urine. No side effects in HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICINES.

You have not mentioned the reason for nephrectomy. Anyways, you should take all precautions to prevent kidney damage. Protein & salt intake should be restricted. Maintain normal bp, body weight, blood sugar. Do not consume alcohol, tobacco, pain killers, antibiotics. Exercise regularly.
