Hello, as you are pretty young guy, the possibility of low pressure or residual urine can be the cause. To rule out other possibilities, get your urine tested and an ultrasound done. Also, practice pelvic floor exercise or kegel exercise, consists of repeatedly contracting and relaxing the muscles that form part of the pelvic floor.

1. First take a lot of fluid daily. The more you drink water and fluid, the less amount of deposit accumulate in kidney. So you have to make your kidneys healthy just only by drinking 2-3 liters (10-12 glasses) of water. 2. Stones are mainly formed of calcium and oxalate. So take very low quantity of milk, cheese, cream and dairy products. 3. Do not take strawberry, plum, spinach and tomatoes. These fruits and vegetables are rich in oxalate. So avoid them to prevent from kidney stones. 3. Stop taking supplementary vitamin d and calcium medication. 4. Avoid animal protein diet- eggs, red meat, fish in diet. 5. Take less amount of salt, pickle and western foods. They have high amount of sodium. So avoid it. 6. Urinary infection are also one of the cause of stone. So take proper antibiotic treatment of urinary infection on time. Even when you feelburning sensation or pain during urination, don't avoid it. Take medication as soon as possible. I am male 45 and I am suffering from kidney disease my creatinine has reached to 5.2 and I want you tell me the Indian diet so that my create nine level can reduce.

MBBS
General Physician,
Creatinine is a breakdown product of creatine phosphate in muscle, and is usually produced at a fairly constant rate by the body (depending on muscle mass of your body. Its filtered by your kidney only so if your kidney starts malfunctioning its level rises in serum. So to reduce your creatinine level almost solely dependant on how your kidney is functioning. Now you might be having chronic kidney disease. So you have to follow strict diet to not get any complications of ckd like hyperkalemia (high potassium in blood, high bp, low calcium and high phosphates in blood or anemia. Low potassium diet should contain rice, beans, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, cooked bread and bread products (not whole grains, pasta, cauliflower, celery, coffee cherriescorn, pies without chocolate, cucumber, cookies without nuts, lettuce, white mushrooms, peaches, onions, pears, peas, peppers, plums, radish, strawberries, water chestnuts, tangerine can be taken. Most of the fruits have high potassium but fruits like watermelon (limit to 1 cup, pineapple or apple of medium size, strawberry, cranberries can be taken in small amount. Avoid milk and milk products, meat, egg, salt in high amount. Take max 2 litres of water in a day. Regular follow up of bp, blood sugar and serum urea, creatinine should be done. Iron folic acid tablets can be taken after meal if you are anemic.

Dear , painless passage of urine has many causes. Some of them are benign like infection, stone, obstruction etc while other are more sinister like tulour. So get it investigated. Blood count, urine test and sonography with full bladder volume, bladder wall thickness on full bladder and post-void residual urine volume. Post reports along with pictures of the scan here.

Frequent urination usually occurs in diabetes due loss of glucose in urine as it pulls more water in to bladder due to osmosis, frequency also increases in urinary tract infection, but then colour changes to dark brown or reddish and invariably associated with burning pain. Some times anxiety can also mimic such symptoms.

I am an 18 year old female who is suffering from some discomfort in my urinary tract. In the middle of February I started having sensations of incomplete and frequent peeing going to the toilet more often than normal. I consumed a herbal Ayurvedic syrup for a few days and my discomfort stopped. The same problem started again in the month of March and April. I find that whenever I release vaginal fluids such as during menstruation or ovulation these urinary symptoms come again. In May I started to take antibiotic for the first time but it did not work and then I switched to taking cranberry and D mannose capsules. It worked to some extent as I could sleep reasonably well at night without having to urgently pee all the time. But when my periods started the symptoms are worse with more frequent and incomplete voiding. I have NO pain nor have I experienced bleeding. My urine is a healthy pale yellow color as I drink lot of water but the peeing is frequent and incomplete and I feel a constant pressure to avoid lot of the time. I don't have other bodily symptoms. I am worried what all this could mean.

If not done yet, you may need to do a urine culture and sensitivity test to find out infection and the type of organism in the urinary bladder and the antibiotic to which these organisms are sensitive so that instead of a blind approach, a definite exact treatment can be initiated. If not done this may become chronic urinary tract infection and haphazard use of antibiotics may make the organisms resistant to more of them and in the end we may not be left with any good antibiotic to use for treatment. Good hygiene of the private parts is essential as you have yourself stated that after menses this problem flares up.

You may need evaluation with rgu, ultrasound and urine culture. If any abnormality in the reports like stricture or bladder neck contracture found then you will need cystoscopy and viu or bni. In case of infection in urine then treat that first.

MBBS

We have to treat the cause and if there is no urine output with puffiness of face and odema on legs than we might have to think of dialysis and if there is noticeable urine output than we might have to repeat the test after every three days.

Hi, My father is suffering with chronic kidney disease stage-5. Currently he is running on dialysis. He is having bp and diabetes from last 16 yrs. Some doctors suggested kidney transplantation and some not to have. From last 5 months he is running on dialysis. We took decision of running dialysis itself. Is it correct or else we have done any mistake? With the dialysis can he survive well? Thanks for responding in advance.
