Diabetes in Pregnancy - How to Tackle it?

Pregnancy can be a tricky time for most women, although it is not a pathological condition. One must be prepared for pregnancy with the best of health in the pre pregnancy period. This also includes women who are suffering from diabetes. The complications during pregnancy and delivery increase manifold if one has not controlled the glucose and blood sugar levels before getting pregnant. So read on to know more about coping with pregnancy if you happen to have diabetes.

Complications: Pregnancy with diabetes can cause severe complications if the blood sugar levels are not controlled properly before pregnancy. This can cause the diabetes to become even worse in the long run, with the onset of various other related ailments like kidney disease, heart disease, eye problems and more. It can also increase the risk of premature delivery, and too much birth weight of the baby as well as low glucose levels right after the baby’s birth. Further, one can also lose the baby to a miscarriage due to excessively high blood sugar levels. This can also affect the glucose and blood sugar level of the baby as the glucose passes through the body.

Related conditions: If you happen to have high blood sugar levels, then you and your baby can get affected in an adverse way. To begin with, you may come down with severe depression regarding how you will be able to manage your diabetes and pregnancy together, and also due to the implications of the condition after the birth of the baby. It can also cause a condition called Preeclampsia in which the pregnant woman’s blood pressure becomes high and too much protein starts to pass from the urine, which can also result in frequent urination and life threatening defects and problems for you and the baby. In such cases, you will have to be hospitalised and the baby will need to be delivered via a C section or a Caesarean Section.

Planning ahead: If you know that you are trying to conceive, the best way is to be fully prepared well in advance. This includes planning ahead for managing the blood sugar levels and keeping the risk of other ailments at bay. You can start by losing excessive weight and seek treatment to bring down the blood sugar levels. Exercising and watching your diet are also some good ways to ensure that your Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes is in control.

Medical Team: It is pertinent to be in touch with your medical team on a constant basis. This team should include the obstetrician and gynaecologist as well as your regular doctor to whom you can report any changes.

Use tea tree face wash and toner twice daily. Use aha glow face wash once in a day. Use sunscreen with spf 30 daily. Use natural face pack of multani mitti and lemon 2 times a week. You can also use apple cider vinegar for 5 minutes after washing your face and splash it clean with water. Most important is diet- do not eat junk, eat more vegetables and fruits especially with vitamin c.

Weakness is a lack of physical or muscle strength and the feeling that extra effort is required to move your arms, legs, or other muscles. Take healthy diet consisting of green leafy vegetables, fruits, high protein diet like pulses etc. And regularity is must but it will hurt. Do underestimate your self and I think you having some issue in back of your mind that you are weak because of masturbation, it has nothing do with this and this only natural activity you are doing, so eat healthy and take proper vitamin and iron and protein supplement regularly you will be fine.

Chicken pox is viral illness, usually it is self limiting. For rashes and itching you can use sy. Zyncet 5 ml twice daily. Keep checking fever, use paracetamol syp or tablets. Keep the lesions clean and dry. Keep the baby well hydrated, drink more of liquids. Don't send to school till all the blisters have crusted over to prevent further spread of the disease to other kids.

Dear DIET 1.Reduce intake of junk foods, oily foods, gravy in curries (veg & nov veg), consume more proteins, dry fruits, fresh fruits, & vegetables. 2.“PROTIEN RICH DIET” Veg: Dhal, soya beans, mushrooms, sprouts etc Non Veg: Egg whites, Fish, Chicken (non fried items) Dry fruits – (Almonds 5-6 (badam), Dates (3-4), Walnuts (1-2), Raisins (kishmish)) majority of dry fruits are good for health & hair especially. Fresh Fruits - Green grapes with seeds (please crush seeds along with grapes while consuming) and Skin of Green Apple. Vegetables - Green Leafy Vegetables.

For stress you can use these techniques: Stress is actually a response to pressure or threat, under which we may feel tense and nervous. Biologically, stress triggers the secretion of hormone called adrenaline which transiently affects the nervous system of human. Stress also affect a person physically. Well there are few ways to overcome your stress: Avoid caffeine, alcohol and nicotine. Avoid beverages containing caffeine, alcohol or nicotine or at least reduce their use. These are stimulants which accelerats the level of stress and make you feel more disturbed. You can replace such beverages with water or a herbal tea. Try to relax yourself. Try relaxation techniques when your stress level cross your tolerance level. For example, try self-hypnosis which is very easy and can be done anywhere, even at your desk or in the car. One very simple technique is to focus on a word or phrase that has a positive meaning to you. Words such as "calm" "love" and "peace" work well, or you could think of a self-affirming mantra such as “I deserve calm in my life” or “Grant me serenity”. Relaxation is a skill that needs to be learned and will improve with practice. Learn to say ‘NO’. People mostly become stressed when they have a lot work to do. Learning to say “No” to additional or unimportant requests will help to reduce your level of stress, and may also help you develop more self-confidence. Manage time. Manage your time as per your works. Divide the work and complete it in pieces, so that you will never get mess up with the works and it will be easy for you to reduce your stress. Sleep as more as you can. Lack of sleep is a cause of stress or else it will increase your stress. You should get more and more sleep and if thoughts which mainly stress you, disturbs your sleep then go for meditation. Mediation is a universal way to fight mental and physical both the problem as it relaxes your mind. Indulge yourself in physical activity. It is one of the best ways to overcome stress. You can go for any physical activity such as dancing, exercising, playing a game or anything you would like to do. Thank You.

Hi. Most common cause of such pain in your age group in stomach acidity. So you should try some cold milk or eno or any other acidity medicine. If no relief, then you should think of doing ecg and 2d echo tests. Take care.

Change in behaviour in child age group is not abnormal. It changes year by year in this age group. For only this reason of change in behaviour, child may not be considered as suffering from Autism. It has many associated features also. It may just a matter of chance that he might be having interest in some other field instead of of learning according to your choice. I suggest to take another opinion about autism.

I suggest you follow the below for your condition: take mag phos 12x - thrice daily for next 2 weeks and update. Also do x-ray of the affected area. Rest. Ceasing activity for a few days allows injured tissue and even nerve roots to begin to heal, which in turn will help relieve lower back pain. However, more than a few days of rest can lead to a weakening of the muscles, and weak muscles have to struggle to adequately support the spine. Patients who do not regularly exercise to build strength and flexibility are more likely to experience recurrent or prolonged lower back pain. Heat and ice packs. Heat and/or cold therapy helps relieve most types of low back pain by reducing inflammation. Often patients use ice, but some prefer heat. Both may be used alternately.

First you should follow low calories food for weight loss. * in morning, take 1-2 chapattis with a bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of lemon water with it *in lunch you can take a bowl of raw vegetables like carrot, radish, tomatoes, turnip or beetroot. *in evening, you can take a cup of green tea only with some pieces of friuts like apple, pineapple, pear. Avoid taking banana or mango. *in dinner, you can take vegetable soup or a bowl of cooked vegetables. But do not take potato, sweet potatoes. * you can take a cup skimmed milk 4 times a week only during day time. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. Follow these exercises in the morning - * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories and the calories deposit in body in the form of weight if not utilised.
