Hi, since my retina was weak, I had underwent a laser to correct the same. After which been having severe headaches due to continues pc usage since my profession demands that. Please confirm if this is normal? any thing that will help to ease this. Also I am planning for a laser eye surgery by may? 15 mid. Due to my continues eye problems, even though the fee is very high.

Flax seeds are enriched with some of the most essential & basic nutrients that our body requires. They are good source of fibres, healthy fat, antioxidants, protein, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, omega 3, lignin & mucilage, vitamin B1. Regular consumption of it is good for skin, heart,hair and lower the risk of diabetes, cancer, heart disease etc. One to two tablespoon of flax seeds daily is good for health. It should be take in ground or powdered form. Chewed it properly because if not chewed properly it give no benefits to your body. Flaxseed oil has a low smoke point, so it shouldn't use for frying, use it into salad dressings etc.

I am 60 years old and suffering from backache for the last 10 months what should I do.

Backache is the commonest ailment. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. I had fever, cold, cough and throat pain 3 weeks before and I consulted a doctor and took antibiotics and got well. But my throat pain persists and it occurs mostly when I haven't eaten anything or early in the morning when I wake up. And there is still phlegm left and keeps coming occasionally. And my throat keeps irritating, doesn't come out as cough either.

First you should follow low calories food for weight loss. * in morning, take 1-2 chapattis with a bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of lemon water with it *in lunch you can take a bowl of raw vegetables like carrot, radish, tomatoes, turnip or beetroot. *in evening, you can take a cup of green tea only with some pieces of friuts like apple, pineapple, pear. Avoid taking banana or mango. *in dinner, you can take vegetable soup or a bowl of cooked vegetables. But do not take potato, sweet potatoes. * you can take a cup skimmed milk 4 times a week only during day time. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running.
