Hello, Yes ORS should be taken , as electrolyte loss prevention is a priority in diarrhoea . Also dehydration in itself can raise sugar levels.

Dear lybrateuser, - To build your body you have to build muscles by consuming a well balanced diet with more of proteins & do regular exercise - have fruits, vegetables, whole grains, protein foods like eggs, milk & milk products, yogurt, cheese, paneer, butter milk, soya products, tofu, legumes including beans, lentils, pulses, sprouts, peas, nuts like almonds, walnuts, pista, cashews, peanuts - do regular exercise like jogging, swimming, play a game, do moderate weight lifting 2-3 times a day also pushups, pull ups, yoga to build your muscles & keep you fit - consult a dietician on forum for your calorie & protein requirement, follow the diet plan along with an exercise schedule.

* Firstly take your meals with proper chewing and dont be hurry in taking meals to avoid acidity after meals. * Take less spicy food & avoid chilly in meals. * Try to avoid stress. If you feel unable to avoid stress & extra thinking then follow meditation techniques. Sit in a calm & well airy room & do long breathing. Concentrate on your breathing. Do it for atleast 3-5 minutes twice a day. You can do Anulom - Vilom Pranayam in the morning .It calm down your mind and lower the gastric irritation. * Put 1 teaspoon of Fennel seeds ( Saunff)in a glass of water in night and drink this water in morning everyday to cure gastric problem. * Take few leaves of mint ( Pudina), coriander leaves( Dhania), pinch of rock salt & pinch of black pepper.crush them well and make paste.Take 1 teaspoon this paste( Chatni) with meal in morning & evening.

Causes And Symptoms Of Growth Hormone Deficiency!

The body produces a number of chemicals called hormones which are essential for the regulation of various functions including growth and metabolism. These hormones are produced by endocrine glands which are located in various parts of the body. One such important gland is the pituitary gland which produces the important growth hormone. This is essential for regulating optimal growth during the growing years and for maintaining proper amounts of body fat, muscles, and bones in the later years of life.

Causes: Deficiency of the growth hormones can occur due to a number of causes, some of which are listed below. It can be congenital (present at birth) or acquired later in life.
The congenital issue could be due to problem in the pituitary gland structure, leading to complete absence or reduced secretion of the hormone.
With age, there is a decrease in the amount of secretion. However, infections, injuries, brain tumors, surgery and radiation can also lead to altered amounts of secretion.

Symptoms: While growth hormone deficiency can occur at any age, symptoms differ depending on the age when the deficiency sets in.
In the early ages:

  • Lower rate of growth for a given age
  • Delayed developmental milestones
  • Delayed onset of puberty
  • Short stature/reduced height
  • Younger looking compared to other children their age
  • Fat deposition around the waist
  • Delayed dental development

When the deficiency sets in during the later years, there is

  • Low energy levels, constant tiredness
  • Decreased strength
  • Decreased exercise tolerance
  • Decreased overall muscle mass
  • Thin and dry skin
  • Increased fat deposition and weight gain around the waist
  • Changes in social behavior including alternate cycles of anxiety and depression
  • Lack of motivation
  • History of pituitary tumors
  • High levels of fat and cholesterol

 

The diagnosis depends on the age of the person

  • Blood tests are carried out to check the hormone levels in circulation
  • In children, in addition to the hormone levels, x-rays to see the status of growth plates is very helpful.
  • An insulin hypoglycemia test where insulin is given intravenously to see the levels of the growth hormone after 30 minutes.
  • Total cholesterol levels, low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, apolipoprotein B, and triglyceride levels can be used to supplement the above tests.
  • CT scan and/or MRI of the brain may be needed if tumors are suspected.

Treatment: Once diagnosed, replacement therapy is given as shots a few times a week under the skin. This restores normal growth and helps in controlling the symptoms in adults too.
In cases of tumor, radiation or surgery may be required, but most cases are managed with hormone replacement.
Watch out for the symptoms if your child has delayed developmental milestones and early intervention can help restore growth and function to normal levels. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an Endocrinologist.

Another option in using aloe vera is by taking the gel form of this plant. Then, get 5 capsules of vitamin A and vitamin E, and extract their oil. Combine these vitamin-enriched oil with your aloe vera and rub on the affected area well. Wait for the mixture to be absorbed completely by your skin, and leave on for about 10 minutes. You should also apply this daily for favorable results.

If severe high bp it is dangerous for mother and baby the doctors do the best to save and if proper facilities not avilable locally take her to a good hospital with better facility with neonatal care where the premature baby can be taken care of.

Hello sir. According to your height and weight your BMI is normal 20.2 so take a balance diet. 1) Take nutritious food. 2) Take 5 to 6 meals. 3) Take meals after 2 to 3 hours. 4) Take 5 food groups in your daily diet. 5) Go for exercise daily 30 min. 6) get restful sleep.

Medication will not help at this age, you should try Exercise like stretching swimming regularly yoga like Tadasan and Sarvang asana. play Basket ball regularly. Take proper balanced nutritios and protein rich diet. *Mix two tablespoons of ashwagandha powder in a glass of warm cow’s milk. 1. Add sugar or jaggery according to your taste and mix well. 2. Drink it every night before going to bed at least for 45 days to increase your height. I suggest you to follow these exercises on regular basis in order to get result.

Hair fall can be associated with pernicious anaemia, hypothyroidism, inflammatory bowel disease, nutritional deficiency, diabetes, stress. These have to be evaluated. You also have to make a lot of lifestyle changes. Correct your diet. Consume plenty of pulses, legumes, sprouts, grams, soya and nuts. If you r nonvegetarian, have meat, fish, milk and milk products in plenty. Drink lots of water. Avoid stressing over your hair fall since dopamine released can decrease hair further. Stay away from chemicals like hair dyes, bleaches. Avoid straighteners and hot combs. Overwashing and overshampooing can make your hair fall. Wash your hair twice a week and shampoo on the same day. Use mild shampoos. Massage scalp thoroughly to increase blood circulation. Towel dry hair, do not use blow dryers. Make sure not to sleep with wet damp hair. Comb hair regularly before going out. Protect your hair from sun. Stay away from alcohol and caffeinated drinks like coffee and cola since they produce antioxidants which damage free radicals. Exercise regularly for it promotes blood flow and enhances healthy, shiny hair growth. Yoga and meditation help destress.You vil need to take biotin tablets everyday after breakfast.

A detox diet is a temporary food habit, which involves detoxifying your body without causing much stress. Detoxifying includes cleansing your body of toxins, bacteria, and viruses that build up inside it. It usually lasts for a few days, and a detox diet consists of foods that are easy to digest and low in fat and protein. These foods help liver function and increase your metabolism, which brings about the detoxification progress.
Some of the constituents of a detox diet are:
1) Drinking copious amounts of water - Water performs many bodily functions like regulating body temperature, hydrating the body, regulating bowel movements etc. One such vital function is flushing out toxins. The more water you drink, the more toxins get flushed out of your body. Drinking eight glasses of water each day is advisable. Plus, water also helps to control hunger.
2) Munch on fruits and vegetables - Replacing your daily diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables, which are rich in fiber, can help remove toxins. It also provides the body with necessary nutrients and antioxidants. Fruits rich in fiber are spinach, broccoli, avocado, blueberries, beans, artichoke and many others.
3) Eating oranges, lemons or limes - Citric acid helps to dissolve toxins within the body and increases and improves the functioning of the liver. Lemons contain the highest amounts of citric acid and eating them on a daily basis can be highly beneficial.
4) Drinking herbal tea - Herbal tea, which is a huge source of antioxidants and water, helps to flush toxins out of the body. Hi lybrate user firstly, start doing surya namaskar in morning and start eating triphla chooran (natural medicine) in morning empty stomach with luke warm water. Start a fruit dieting every alternative day, means you have to eat fruits every alternative days & normal fruit every other alternative days. Avoid late night dinners and try to eat nothing after sunset. Sit in vajrasana after every meal you eat for 10 minutes. Walk atleast 30 min in morning.
