Take a high protein soft diet like toned milk ,eggs , soy and some fruits and vegetables ,pulses + carbs like wheat/rice. Take a multivitamin tablet like Becosule 1 /day and gradually increase your day to day activities so that you retain your stamina and are able to build it slowly. Take more of liquid diet and less of fats , take some beverage + diluted toned milk every 2 hourly.

Hi lybrate-user here are 6 ways to gain weight healthily: 1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drink your calories to reach the calorie requirement only by eating may be tough. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit.

Hi lybrate-user Weight gain is a big problem now a day. To lose weight we need to focus upon some basic food plan like cutting down on grains and sugar chapati, rice, bread. This helps immediately .we should avoid processed food. The healthy weight loss diet should contain ample amount of vegetable with sufficient protein. Taking some dietary supplements helps in weight loss as well. I am suggesting a general diet and supplement for you. Due to malnutrtion and anemia it happens as well as failure of uteri ovarian cycle. Try to take balanced food with uterine tonic. First you need to under stand some thing that the height a person attains is mostly decided right from the time a person is born, by his genetics. Height is mostly hereditary and a persons height is determined by the height of the father or mother. If none of them are taller than 5 feet then it is less likely that you will grow over that. Still some inches of growth is possible by taking some healthy steps which you should always try. Try taking a healthy food and never skip a break fast. Sleep adequately. Growth hormone is released at night in sleep and you should give sufficient time to sleep. Do regular exercise. Preferably stretching exercises like skipping, hanging from the bar or standing tall on ones toes. Also sports such as badminton and basketball also increases the height. Adequate weight control s essential to divert your energy to increase in height. All said, these habbits are good for a healthy life as well. You can try all of them regularly and just hope for the best. Do not fall for all the super natural remedies claiming to increase height in 2-3 weeks.

Hye. Thankyou for the query. There are no special foods to lose weight. Fruits in isolation cannot help weight loss. It's all about overall balance of diet. No food can work in isolation. If your diet is good and you are working out right, all foods will help you maintain good weight. If your diet is not good no amount of the supposedly low calorie fruits will help.

I am 25 years old and I have cellulite on my legs and hips. My upper body is not healthy and due to subcutaneous fat on hips and thighs, I look healthy. My height is 5'6" and weight is 78 kgs. I have started exercising for 30 min atleast every day and controlling my diet like morning I have lemon water, then almonds 5 after dat for breakfast I have oats/brown bread toast 1 then I have salad b4 lunch, in lunch I have 2 chapatis then I have green tea. In evening I have tea with 2 biscuits (more gold), then I have dinner with 1 chapati. Will it be sufficient for me to loose weight? I want to reduce 10 kgs in 2-3 months.

You need to have a diet and exercise plan based on your bmi, age & weight and sex, presence of any diseases. There are exercises specific for each part of body like hips, thighs or abdomen. Comprehensive exercise & diet plan based on whether vegetarian /non vegetarian can be given. May also need to do some tests. In brief, weight reduction can be achieved only by reducing the intake of food 1/3 of what you take now. And by appropriate exercise plans for each part like belly, thighs, legs etc. To burn off fat. Some tips 1) drink three or four cups of water whenever you feel hungry and just before eating food 2) take boiled or raw vegetable like cucumber, carrot etc. As half of your diet. Then take 1/4 of your total diet as sprouted pulses / proteinaceous food like roti, cooked pulses and remaining with rice or other carbohydrates. Oil or ghee etc. Should be just bare minimum. The most important is to burn off the energy intake by exercises. There is no short cut or medicines without exercise. The food we eat is utilised for our energy needs and the remaining will be stored as fat which leads to obesity. It is better to do some tests.

Take 5 leaves of parizaad tree leaves also called as harsinghaar. Make a paste of those 5 leaves, put the paste in 150 ml water and put to boil. Boil for 20 minutes than drink that water and chew the leaves. Do this for 7 days early morning empty stomach, your problem will be cured permanently.

1. Keep yourself hydrated. 2. Get extra rest for some days till you feel more energetic. 3. Avoid watching television for long hours. Indulge in relaxing activities. 4. Avoid stress and too much physical exertion. 5. Take a nutritious diet with more protein items in homemade food like soya, sprouts, dals, paneer, milk, seasonal fruits. 6. People who lose weight slowly, about 1 to 2 pounds per week, are more successful at keeping the weight off. You'll also burn additional calories if you increase your physical activity. You weight-loss plan should do all of the following: •Emphasize fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and fat-free or low-fat dairy products. •Include lean meats, poultry, fish, beans, eggs, and nuts. •Contain foods low in saturated fats, avoid trans fats, and limit cholesterol and salt (sodium). •Avoid refined sugars and processed foods. Some tips to help you lose weight: •Keep a food diary. Writing down everything you eat is critical! Noting how you feel when you eat will help you identify emotional triggers that may cause you to overeat. My mother is 48 and is suffering from high blood pressure issues from last 10 years. She was taking medicines and her bp remained in control most of the times but from last one week her bp is raised to 170/120 and remains same almost all of the time. Even medicines seem not helping. No sugar, potato, rice 5. 30 mts brisk walk daily 6. Deep breathing exercise for 10 mts daily 7. Meditation daily for 10 mts. 6-8 hrs of sleep at night 8.
