It may gas distention trouble due to indigestion. Have simple bland food (Khichadi) for next few days avoiding junk, oily, spicy fried and deep-fried food items. Drink lot of water. Reduce intake of tea – coffee. Instead you can have green tea. you may drink milk (room temperature). Do not lye-down or sit immediately after having meals. Have a walk instead. Maintain good bowel habits. For gas some herbal medicines might also help you but after proper history taking. Please update with your valuable feedback.

I have been diagnosed with short segment barrett's esophagus. Is RFA to treat this condition advisable?

MBBS

I have been diagnosed with short segment barrett's esophagus. Is RFA to treat this condition advisable?
no. make some lifestyle changes in order to reduce your acid reflux. For example: lose weight, if you're overweight stop smoking drink less alcohol and coffee don't eat foods that aggravate your symptoms (keep a diary so you know which foods aggravate your symptoms) eat smaller meals at regular intervals, rather than a large amount in one go raise the head of your bed if you get reflux symptoms at night (you can do this by putting supports under the legs at the head of your bed, so that while sleeping your head is positioned higher than your feet) take tab lan 30 empty stomache morning daily for 2-3 month. thanks

Facing navel displacement problem which is disturbing his digestion cycle and there is continuous stomach ache.
Hello, you should go to a naturopath personally, he will set this displacement of naval. Correct yogic treatment will eliminate this trouble within a short period, sometimes 3 to 4 days. The displacement is caused by picking up heavy objects, a sudden twisting or bending movement, sexual activity.

The passing of gas in evening depends on your diet in day and water intake. It does not seem to be related with ulcer. Some times it may be due to amoebiasis and altered bacterial flora. I would advice to consult for anti amoebic treatment and lactobacillus after meal it will help you to relieve your symptoms.

Stomach Ulcer - 4 Best Ways To Get Pain Relief!

MBBS
General Physician, Ahmedabad
Stomach Ulcer - 4 Best Ways To Get Pain Relief!

Ulcer pain can be uneasy and unbearable at times. It is caused by a bacterium known as the H. Pylori. Pain medication, lifestyle changes, and healthy eating habits can ensure pain relief from this condition. Here is a list of 4 best ways to get instant pain relief from an ulcer:

  1. Medication - H. Pylori is often found in the digestive tract. Doctors suggest various combinations of antibiotics kill this bacterium. Some of those include tetracycline, levofloxacin, metronidazole, and tinidazole. These are prescribed as per the resistance rate of the bacteria. There are other sets of medication that blocks acid production in the body. These drugs which commonly go by the name of PPIs include esomeprazole, lansoprazole, and pantoprazole. The third set of medications reduces acidity in the stomach and gives instant relief. They are readily available over the counter and goes by the name antacid. The final line of medicines that are often prescribed by doctors includes Cytotec and Carafate. They protect the tissue lining of the intestine and the stomach.
  2. Consumption of cranberry - Cranberry has multiple health benefits. One of those includes the ability to fight against bacteria of the urinary tract. They also do not allow the bacteria to settle on the surface of the bladder. Cranberry in the form of juice, supplement and as a whole can be consumed daily to get relief from the stomach ulcer. It should be taken in specific quantity as too much of cranberry consumption can upset the stomach. Packaged cranberry juice from the market can be avoided as they contain high level of fructose which can unsettle the stomach.
  3. Flavonoids - A compound known as bioflavonoids are known to be extremely helpful for pain relief from an ulcer. These compounds naturally occur in many vegetables and fruits such as soybeans, berries, apples, legumes, green tea, broccoli and berries. Bioflavonoids available in red wine and citrus food should be strictly avoided as they can trigger ulcer pain. Bioflavonoids should be taken in measured quantities as too much consumption of it can cause harm in blood clotting. It can be consumed in the form of supplements if the body doesn’t receive the same from the daily diet.
  4. Deglycyrrhizinated licorice - This compound is nothing but licorice with the sweet flavour pulled out of it. A study showed that they are capable of completing curing the ulcer containing bacteria by inhibiting their growth. Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice is available in the form of candy and can be consumed once the pain starts. Supplements too are available in the market. Not more than 2 ounces of Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice should be consumed in a day as they can cause fluctuation in blood pressure and lead to heart diseases. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a general physician.

What are the symptom of malaria, diarrhea, coughs.
What are the cure for the disease like red spots on the skin.
Malaria is a life-threatening disease transmitted through bite of anopheles mosquito infected with a plasmodium parasite. The parasites travel to the liver, where they mature and infect red blood cells. Symptoms of malaria develop within 1-4 weeks following the infection.like: high fever with shaking chills profuse sweating headache nausea/vomiting diarrhea/bloody stools anemia muscle pain seizures coma Dragging heavy sensation in abdomen(Enlarged spleen). Symptoms may appear in cycles. Episodes of symptoms may occur every 48 hours in infection with P. Vivax or P. Ovale. This cycle of symptoms is also one of the major signs that you are infected with malaria. P. falciparumdoes not usually cause a regular, cyclic fever.Infection with this species is more serious and life threatening..
