If you have problem due to Gastritis/Hyper acidity 1. Take bland diet, Avoid foods which cause acidity like spicy, oily, fatty and junk foods, onion, garlic, citrus fruit like orange grape, lemon, tomato, cucumber, raddish, vinegar, pickle etc 2. Have proper Breakfast, Don’t skip or postpone your meal, Take home made food, Avoid food and water from outside, 3. Eat food slowly, don’t rush, take smaller meals at frequent intervals like 5-6 meals per day, and don't overeat. Limit fluid intake during meal4. Drink plenty of water (8-10 glass daily). Take your meal regularly and timely. Avoid fasting, Don’t skip your breakfast. 5. Stop smoking, consumption of alcohol and tobacco, excess tea or coffee, carbonated drinks if you are having,6. Avoid stress, have adequate rest, sleep for 7-8 hours daily in night, go for regular exercise, practice yoga/meditation 7. Take one tablet of pan40 in the morning before breakfast daily for few days. 8. Consult Gastroenterologist for further advice.

The act of self pleasuring is a natural practice and has given birth to all kinds of myths which stops people from indulging in this form of self-pleasure and here are the top myths about masturbation:

  1. It can cause you to suffer from Erectile Dysfunction: Erectile Dysfunction refers to the inability to maintain or get an erection during intercourse. The causes of this sexual dysfunction are varied, but masturbation doesn't figure in the list of causes. What really happens is that when you masturbate repeatedly, you become used to your own touch or to a certain kind of sensation. As a result, you may find it difficult to have orgasms with your partner.
  2. Reduces sex drive: Masturbation does not reduce your sex drive or prevent you from having orgasms. Many people also claim that women get addicted to vibrators and cannot enjoy sex without them. However, there is no truth behind this.
  3. Children do not masturbate: Masturbation is a normal childhood habit, wherein young children discover the private parts of their bodies and the feelings of pleasure that arise from this activity. Most children begin to play with their private parts by about 5-6 years of age. A child can masturbate once a week or several times a day. There are even researches out there that show male foetuses masturbating in the womb.
  4. It can cause blindness: Blindness is the most outrageous myth associated with self-induced orgasms. Till date, there has not been a medical case to prove it.
  5. People in relationships do not masturbate: Whether you're single or in a relationship, masturbation is a healthy sexual activity that you can engage in to fulfil your sexual desires. Studies show that masturbation is a very common behaviour; about 92% of men and 62% of women masturbate. Sometimes, couples also engage in masturbation together as part of their sexual activity.
  6. It causes infertility: Pleasuring yourself does not reduce your chances of getting pregnant or getting someone else pregnant. However, for men with a low sperm count, restricting ejaculations while trying to get their partner pregnant is a good idea. The only way masturbation can lead to infertility is if partners who share sex toys do not keep them clean and pass on STDs through them.

Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Let me know your food intake details. The best diet is one which is healthy and well balanced with foods from all the food groups, and one which is varied and that you can stick to weight loss on some diets can be dramatic in the short term, but there's more of a chance of rebound weight gain. Set yourself a realistic target and aim to lose between (0.5-1.0kg) a week I strongly accommodate the patient's own preferences without the patient feeling that they are on a diet not compromising the weight management goals. Don't fall for self dieting or fad diets available online they have harmful effects in the long run, if you lose a lot of weight very quickly, you may not lose as much fat as you would with a more modest rate of weight loss. Instead, you might lose water weight or even lean muscle tissue, since it's hard to burn that many fat calories in a short period. After assessing your personal challenges to weight loss, one can recommend a strategy to gradually change habits and attitudes that have sabotaged your past efforts. Also the overall objective should not be to drastically reduce weight but doing it gradually and help rebuild body tissues and to maintain ideal body weight.

Dear Lybrate user. Please don’t panic. You must understand erectile dysfunction. There is nothing called erectile dysfunction while having masturbation. Loosing erection in the initial stages of sex or not having erection at all or having late erection or lack of sexual desire are called erectile dysfunction. Erectile dysfunction can be a sign of a physical or psychological condition. It can cause stress, relationship strain, and low self-confidence. The main symptom is a man's inability to get or keep an erection firm enough for sexual intercourse. Patients suffering from erectile dysfunction should first be evaluated for any underlying physical and psychological conditions. If treatment of the underlying conditions doesn't help, medications and assistive devices, such as pumps, can be prescribed. Hi, diabetics often have high bp too unless there is any other underlying cause. First and foremost, your high bp needs to be brought under control. Make sure that you meet your diabetologist/ cardiologist in person asap, so that your high bp/ sugar/ cholesterol levels are brought down with no further delay. He/ she may appropriately advise further diagnostics, if any, and may also require referring you to other specialists including a nephrologist consultation to check upon your kidneys health. Simultaneously, you will have to check your dietary habits, especially cut down on salt, and other high calorie greasy/ oily & fatty foods. Watermelon helps lower bp. Ensure that you streamline your lifestyle, with adequate room for relaxation and de-stressing. Should you be working, you need to see how you can streamline your occupational aspect as well to reduce stress at work. This shall systemically help you keep your bp in control. Being a diabetic, the need to streamline your diet & lifestyle and relaxation/ de-stressing yourself, cannot be under-emphasized. You must ensure consumption of whole grain cereals, fresh milk, fibrous fruits like apples and leafy greens. Especially, cucumber, jamun, bitter gourd, onions, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, lemon etc are beneficial in diabetes. Banana and other high calorie fruits be best avoided. You should take water plentily and exercise (light) for at least 30 - 45 mins daily. Remember walking is the best and safest exercise unless you have other constraints with respect to your health that prohibit you from doing so. Most of the guidelines as mentioned above for diabetes and bp shall help control your cholesterol levels too. Coriander water is known to help bring down cholesterol levels. Additionally, vegetable oils with pufa, amla, cayenne, green tea, fenugreek (methi), isabgol, flaxseed et al help bring down cholesterol levels too. Daily yogasanas, pranayams & meditation also help keep fit from all angles.

Aopecia areata is a disease whr you hv patchy hair loss it does not spread but it can happen in another place thr is definately treatment to arrsst the disease properly proper evaluation is needed.
