Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful. Use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

I am suffering from gout since 4 years. I am 31 year old now. What I can do for gout attack?

Kindly show me your investigation reports. If it is really gout, then febucip 40mg (cipla) bd should help you. Also take caldikind plus (mankind) 1 tab odx10 contact me again for follow up. You have to change your life style no smoking, no alcohol, no non veg food, no late nights, no severe work outs/dances.

Hi 1st of all you have to avoid heavy lifting, forward bending, long duration sitting and standing. Do some exercises- stretching your back of thigh muscle (hams), and calf muscle, and bend your knee and do side twist. Put a pillow under knee. Use heating pad for 10 to 15 min.

This may be due to cervical spondylosis take an xray of cervical spine ap & lat and do cervical spine exercises and do not use pillow while sleeping

I have a desk job so basically I have to stay erect for 12 hrs what to do you now for money what not have to do but doc my back aches so much that sometimes I can't breath and it becomes really hard to study and concentrate please prescribe me some antibiotics and sleeping peels ASAP please doc it's really important OK mail me or call me on my number bye bye.

Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.   Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Hi, there can be different reasons for pain from waist to toe for example it can be due to compression of nerve or disc prolapse, osteoporosis, inflammation. I would strongly suggest you to go to an orthopedic doctor for further investigation and proper treatment.

Usually lack of physiotherapy, or defective artifical stump pressing. More over you are obese. May be the side effeects of drugs. Need data & analysis for guidelines. Consult sos.

I am 23 yrs old and I am suffering from neck pain for a long time. I am an it graduate working with an mnc. Please advice.

It could be fibromyalgia rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Do neck & back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Use of cervical collar will give you relief. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do ask for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.
