Cause of discoloration ? Smoking, coffee, tea, drugs, aging, staining food (wine, blueberry, etc) genetics. Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. You may need deep cleaning along with whitening (bleaching) procedures and / or artificial enamel filling and / or capping. Advance procedures can be done with laser. Use Snowdent tooth paste for whitening until then. Apply SNOWDENT paste on the teeth. Wait for 10 to 15 min .Then brush your teeth with the same paste. Applying it overnight for better results. DENTAL TIPS: - Visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months.

You may have an infection around the tooth or it was not removed completely. An xray should give a better idea.

Dear mam, sir. I have pain in teeth and it's very badly pain, so please give me a better solution.
The type of treatment you have for toothache will depend on the cause of the pain, so your dentist will examine your mouth and may carry out an X-ray to try to identify the problem. •If your toothache is caused by tooth decay, your dentist will remove the decayed area and replace it with a filling. •If your toothache is caused by a loose or broken filling, the filling will be taken out, any decay will be removed and a new filling put in place. •If the pulp inside your tooth is infected, you may need root canal treatment. This procedure involves removing the infected pulp and then inserting a special type of filling to seal the tooth and prevent re-infection. •If your toothache can't be treated using these methods, or if your tooth is impacted (wedged between another tooth and your jaw), it may need to be removed.

Bad smell can also be due to unclean tongue. Start using tongue cleaner as well and get your teeth cleaned from dentist.

Unfortunately there is no "permanent" way to make teeth white. However these are some of the options You can try. 1. Scaling and polishing (teeth cleaning). This will not change the color of your teeth but will remove all hard debris on your teeth and will also help if you have bad breath. 2. Bleaching. This is a temporary non invasive, cost effective way to brighten your teeth. Results will last anywhere from 3 months to 6 months. 3. Finally Veneers. This option is very expensive, invasive and time consuming. However the results are permanant. You can choose the final color of your teeth. 4. Commercial you available tooth pages will not give you any significant visual results. Hope this helps.

A major cause of tooth sensitivity is root exposure. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need cleaning along with desensitizing procedures and / or artificial enamel filling or root canal treatment. Advance procedures can be done with laser too. Until then apply a desensitizing paste (sensodyne tooth paste) on the teeth. Wait for 10 to 15 min until you brush your teeth with the same paste. Applying it overnight will be better. Cavity filled between my two front teeth is very distinct and looks bad hygienically. Recently few crack lines have also been observed in one of the tooth. What step should I take for that? I'm I facing any risk of losing them?

BDS, MDS Prosthodontics

If filling is done badly then only such visible difference is seen. You can go for a newer more aesthetic composite filling or laminates or crown if very large cavity.

As per your complains and symptoms you may have cavity with pulp infection. Go for proper investigation to rule out the cause of pain. If cavity it can be treated according to your pulp condition ie. Either by filling up or rct.

Hello, you can do warm salt water rinses as a home remedy. This will give you temporary relief from pain. You need to visit the dentist and get it checked. Get an x-ray done. If there is a cavity, get it filled. If there is infection to the root of the tooth, you need to get it treated. Then get a crown placed over it.
