Hello, It's good to reduce weight at right time as many problems are directly related to overweight! Go through the following guidelines and implement them in your routine: Management: 1: Drink plenty of water (at least 2-3 l/d) or other calorie-free beverages. 2: Be choosy about nighttime snacks. 3: Enjoy your favorite foods. 4: Have 6 meals per day - 3 main courses and 3 snack meals (snack meals should be healthy). 5: Do regular exercises daily (start with light and later may be little vigorous) . Exercise decreases the stress hormone in your body, burns calories and also increases the blood circulation. Preferably brisk walking, swimming, cycling, skipping. 6: Eat seasonal fruits. Fruit helps to satisfy your sweet tooth thanks to its natural sugars, while fresh vegetables help you fill up more quickly. Fruits and vegetables contain fiber to help you feel full quickly. 7: Eat more whole grains and cut simple carbs. Whole wheat bread, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, sweet potato, and brown rice are all excellent sources of energy and sources of nutrition. 8: Choose lean proteins instead of fatty ones. 9: Cut the salt from your diet. Eating more sodium causes your body to retain water, which can cause you to feel bloated and gain more weight. 10: Don't skip meals.When you skip meals, your body stops breaking down fat and starts breaking down muscle tissue. Muscle tissue burns more calories at rest than other tissues, so you're actually working against your goals 11: Eat at home. Going out to eat makes it too easy to cheat. Food sold at restaurants is commonly much higher in fat, sodium, and other weight-loss killers. 12: Give yourself a treat now and then. If you're attending a party or going out for a special occasion, allow yourself an indulgence. Just make sure that these indulgences don't become daily habits. 13: Go for a health walk. Gear up yourself daily for a health walk which not only shed off your extra calorie, but also reduces the stress levels. 14: Take small frequent breaks for a quick walk in between as sitting for long hours together encourages the accumulation of fat in the body! Medication: Start taking Schwabe's Phytolacca Berry tablets/ thrice daily 1/2 an hr before the meals for 1 month. Thereafter revert me back for further guidance. All the best!

You haven't to start on tablet glyciphase 500 mg twice a day after food and check you sugar levels again after 10 days. If they improve continue the same. If not inform me I will advise.

Overview on Nose Surgery

A nose surgery (rhinoplasty) is performed to remove polyps and other blockages, alter the structure and shape of your nose and improve its function and or appearance. Here are a few things you should know about nose surgeries:

Deciding on surgery: Before deciding on undergoing nose surgery, consult with your doctor regarding issues related to your nose. Your doctor will check your problems and judge whether or not surgery is a feasible option. It is only with your doctor's confirmation that you should go for the surgery.

The procedure: The surgery is done either with local anesthesia (your nose and surrounding areas will be numbed) or general anesthesia (you will fall asleep). The surgeon will make incisions in your nostrils and base of the nose and alter the shape, structure and position of the cartilages in your nose for appealing shape and better functionality. Polyp removal is also done by rhinoplasty.

Recovery: After the surgery you will be required to wear a nose splint. You can expect swelling around the eyes, which will begin to subside after the third day. Swelling in the nose will go away after six months. Therefore, do not expect to see your results immediately, final condition of your nose will be apparent after the recovery period is over.

  • You should avoid strenuous activity for three to six weeks.
  • Do not smoke or drink alcohol during recovery. Smoking slows recovery time and alcohol reduces normal effects of drugs.

Will you develop scars?

As with all cosmetic procedures, rhinoplasty can leave scars. In closed rhinoplasty, incisions are made inside the nostrils and hence there is no scarring. In open rhinoplasty, an additional cut is made along the columella and this may result in scarring. However, the position of the scar is such that it is almost unnoticeable.

Risks: Any surgical procedure has certain risks. These risks associated with nose surgery include:

  1. Infection
  2. Adverse effect to anesthesia
  3. Unfavorable outcome
  4. Visible scarring
  5. Numbness
  6. Difficulty in breathing
  7. Chronic nosebleed
  8. A perforated septum
  9. Haematoma
  10. Bursting of blood vessels
  11. Nervous damage
  12. Possibility of revision surgery

It happens due to hormonal imbalance. But please stop taking any hormonal pills for this and have a proper homoeopathic consultation and get the basic issue treated of irregular menses. Try one of the following Dalia khichdi (vegetable broken wheat food) Sweet pongal Venn pongal(skip pepper, hing) Dal khichdi with one of the vegetables: spinach, methi, pumpkin, carrot, ridge gourd, bottle gourd, tomato Methi khichdi Tomato dal khichdi (no veggies) Potato rice Sweet potato rice (make the same way as potato rice, you can add a bit of jaggery instead of salt) plantain rice recipe (raw cooking banana with rice) urad dal khichdi vegetable oats khichdi Chickpea toddler meal for toddlers not for babies Indian baby food with chickpeas and methi leaves (11 months, only for babies not having colic) mashed rice, dal with tomato rasam, rasam made with rasam powder mashed rice with moong dal rasam or dal ka paani (bassaru) mashed rice with drumstick sambar or sambar (15 months and above,mash up the veggies along with the rice, try using homemade sambar powder) For a lighter meal, if the baby has colic mashed rice with dal ka paani with a pinch of ajwain(strained dal soup) Mashed rice with milk Mashed rice with yogurt (avoid this frequently) Mashed rice & banana (if needed puree) Mashed rice with tamarind / daniya rasam Mashed rice, carrot with daniya rasam sabudana porridge with salt and ajwain (vaamu / carom seeds) powder rice porridge with salt and ajwain powder Mid noon – 2.30 to 3 pm Fruits or steam cooked mashed veggies Evening snack -5 to 5.30 pm One of the following: Large serving of Milk whole grain cereal Ragi malt with milk (almond powder can be included) Millet porridge (will post the recipe shortly) Almond milk with powdered corn flakes or nestum rice (stage 1) carrot baby food (can skip almonds) carrot milkshake or carrot juice smoothie (babies above 1 year) Dinner – 7 to 7.45 pm Please Note: Feeding late can cause indigestion and the infant may not sleep due to colic. Avoid feeding heavy foods. Dinner should always be light, nutritious, mostly vegetable based. For babies from 10 to 12 months prefer light foods from breakfast section. Avoid egg & nuts. For babies above 12 months : Any foods mentioned in the breakfast and lunch can also be served for dinner. Other options mashed rice with dal ka paani (strained dal soup) Mashed rice with milk Mashed rice, carrot with daniya rasam rice porridge with veggies Rice with dal ka pani (bassaru) and light cooked vegetables. Rice with tomato rasam and light steamed or cooked vegetables. Bed time – 8.30 to 9 pm Large serving of Milk. Make sure there is a gap of at least 1 hour 30 mins in between the completion of dinner and milk. For babies above 12 months: If the baby is still hungry after the milk, can feed some light crackers. foods should be attarctive

I am suffering from back pain from last 6 months. From last 2 months I am not able to walk, Dr. Asked me to do a mri lumbar sacral spine. Report is. Desiccated disk at L5-S1 level. Diffuse diskal protrusion at L5-S1 level effacing the anterior epidural fat and indenting the thecal sac. Superior migration of large right para-central diskal herniation atL5-S1 level reaching uptill mid level of L5 and causing extradural thecal and right radicular indentation. Doctors are advising for surgery. Please advice.

Dear lybrate user, you should take belladona 30 thrice a day three drops in water. Do gargles thrice a day after taking meal for three days. Avoid sour spicy food and cold drinks. Take boiled turmeric milk daily at night for three days.

Take homoeopathic medicine sulphur 200 4pills 4 times 4 days do not apply any local application. It ll suppress it. Drink lots of water. If you have much itching n irritation apply candid dusting powder nly.

Anything that is not responsible, respectful or functional is really unhealthy for you. You need to be careful because porn may provide great sexual entertainment but it also stokes the desire, which will then lead to desire-fulfillment and that will lead to impulses. It actually objectifies women and sex to levels that make you lose respect for them. Besides, the whole thing is dramatized to such crazy levels of performance (that is why it sells too) that you are made to feel grossly inadequate. It is really far from the reality, and these are exceptional actors, with some exceptional endowments and actions that you may even look at your own spouse (later when you get married, that is) with disdain or inadequacies that are most unfair. After you have been stimulated you are left hungry in your groin to want to fulfill your desires, and if not met soon, leaves you with that raging libido, and it can goad you to do something inappropriate. In essence, it spoils a very beautiful thing and reduces it to mere physical impulses. After some time you get disgusted when you have had too much of it; whereas natural sex will never cause that effect at all. If you have so much of sexual energy you can channelize it into activities, sports, games, and hobbies. You need to distract yourself when the drive is very strong in you, which may be so if your levels of testosterone are very high too. You need to socialize with members of the opposite sex and enjoy their company to experience the different aspects of a woman and to also feel the different aspects of sex and not get frozen in the carnal part of it alone. Sex has five different dimensions to it: there is the physical aspect, the emotional aspect, the intellectual aspect, the social aspect and finally, there is the spiritual aspect. The latter may surprise you but this is where respect and regard for women and their bodies will come up to help treat them with value. If you cultivate these dimensions of sex I am sure you will perceive women differently and with a lot of respect. Eventually, when you are into a serious relationship with a woman, you will truly enjoy the whole concept of romance and being and falling in love with the real thing: that my friend will be a different ball-game. Do not play with a poor replica of sex, and shy away from the real person and thing, which are so wholesome.
