What are the precautions o be taken by diabetes patients and what are their daily food diet to decrease the sugar level.
DIABETIC DIET ADVICE: ●Eat regular meals throughout the day at same time everyday..Avoid skipping meals ●Include high fibre foods at each meal e.g. legumes(beans/lentils ),nuts(almonds,walnut),eggs etc ●Take fruit as a healthy snack e.g. apples,pears,papaya,mausami,jamun,guava ●Try to avoid –grapes,mango,bananas,jackfruit(cheeku) ●Vegetables to be included in plenty-at least 2 servings per meal ●Reduce the fat intake,fried foods,cakes,pastries and foods containing palm oil and coconut oil ●Include healthy foods like daliya,oats ●Reduce salt intake in the diet to 1 tsp or less per day ●stay away from especially labelled diabetic foods(they are of no benefit),and saturated fats ●Limit intake of sugar and sugary foods like sweets ●If so desire can take sugarfree as sugar substitute for sweetening purposes DIABETIC DIET CHART: Morning: 4-5 Almonds soaked overnight in water or 1-2 walnuts 6:30 a.m.: Tea + 2 mariegold biscuits(only for those who can’t skip their morning tea) 8:00-9:00 a.m. : 2 Roti + subzi + daliya /upma/poha/raw cheese/sprouts + 1 glass skimmed milk 11:00-12:00 a.m.: Fruits (only those permitted), salads, guava, papaya, pomegranate, cucumber, carrot, sprouts etc 1:00-2:00 p.m.: 2 roti +dal + salads+curd/raita/buttermilk 4:00-5:00 p.m : tea + roasted chana/bhelpuri(only if hungry) 7:00 p.m : salads/coconut water/lemon water(without sugar) 8:00-9:00 p.m: 2 roti +dal/khicdi + skimmed milk Try to sleep daily on sametime till 11:00 p.m. SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS : Avoid potato/sweet potato/arbi banana/cheeku/grapes/mango/litchi papads/ chatni/pickles/fried foods groundnuts/cashew/pista/raisins sweets/honey/cold drinks/jaggery Note: For preparing chapatis, use whole wheat flour mixed with chana flour or besan in 3:1 proportion alongwith small amounts of soyabean flour Learn how to live with diabetes: It is common to feel overwhelmed, sad, or angry when you are living with diabetes. You may know the steps you should take to stay healthy, but have trouble sticking with your plan over time. Stress can raise your blood sugar. Learn ways to lower your stress. Try deep breathing, gardening, taking a walk, meditating, working on your hobby, or listening to your favourite music. Eat well: stick to a diabetes meal plan .chose foods that are lower in calories, saturated fat, trans fat, sugar, and salt.Eat foods with more fibre, such as whole grain cereals, crackers, rice, or pasta. Set a goal to be more active most days of the week. Start slow by taking 10 minute walks, 3 times a day.Twice a week, work to increase your muscle strength. Use stretch bands, do yoga, heavy gardening (digging and planting with tools), or try push-ups. Check your feet every day for cuts, blisters, red spots, and swelling. Brush your teeth and floss every day to keep your mouth, teeth, and gums healthy. Stop smoking. Ask for help to quit. Keep track of your blood sugar. Check your blood pressure if your doctor advises and keep a record of it. At each visit, be sure you have a: blood pressure check,foot check,weight check Two times each year, have an: HbA1C test. It may be checked more often if it is over 7. Once each year, be sure you have a: cholesterol test,complete foot exam,dental exam to check teeth and gums,dilated eye exam to check for eye problems,urine and a blood test to check for kidney problems

hello shukari, my suggestion is to go for the orthodontic treatment and I guess the payment will not be a problem as many times it is in instalments, there is no better option than orthodontic treatment for open bite, there are many fancy treatments available but unless you find what causes you open bite don't get it treated, as the major treatment in open bite starts from removal or correcting the cause of open bite. be confident and proceed with the treatment. still I find any difficulty don't hesitate to text us. take care

How can I gain weight in a month? I'm 42 kgs and have a height 5'4. I'm 20. What can I do?
Dear you can easily gain weight by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. Or take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. Or you can take amla powder 1 teaspoon with water for strong digestion. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. I am sending the diet chart. Follow it in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid soft drinks, western fast food (burgers, french fries, pizza etc. They disturb your digestion. 6. You can try protein powders like endura mass, milk powder, soya protein. And creatinine for weight gain by taking 1 tea spoon added in milk once a day.

Hi lybrate user firstly, start doing surya namaskar in morning and start eating triphla chooran (natural medicine) in morning empty stomach with luke warm water. Start a fruit dieting every alternative day, means you have to eat fruits every alternative days & normal fruit every other alternative days. Avoid late night dinners and try to eat nothing after sunset. Sit in vajrasana after every meal you eat for 10 minutes. Walk atleast 30 min in morning.

I am 59 years old male and my wife is 47. During sex my wife complaints of burning sensation in her vagina and also smells very bad due to which I could not do oral sex. Kindly suggest some measures. Is it due to urinary tract infection.

1. Apply a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar directly on the scar. 2. Gently massage the area so that the apple cider vinegar can be absorbed fully by the scar. 3. Allow the apple cider vinegar to dry up on its own. 4. Once you are sure that it is dry, repeat the process. 5. This can be done several times. Results can be seen after about a month of doing this process every day.

Dear Lybrate User, Ankylosis Spondylosis is a diseases of vertebral changes in the body.. Pain and stiffness are main features of it..For that problem.. Avoid fast food, junk food, oily food, spicy food, heavy food like potato, opposite potential food etc.. Take light diet, easily digestible diet, green vegetables more and more.. Drink more water.. There is no cure for asthma, may go into remmisons, can be controlled by regular use of asthma preventor medicine by inhalation with spacer. Foracort 100 is not a proper dose for adult

Hello To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy. 1.Start with changing your lifestly. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. 2.Eat Healthy – Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food, pepsi, sugary stuff etc. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a.Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B.Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C.If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D.Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E.Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F.You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G.You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Just follow the regimen of weight gain religiously and you will soon start seeing the results. Thanks!

Why all religions prohibit alcohol if it is good for health ? Those who drink say that it is the best enjoyment and stress buster, then why doctors never prescribe it ? I am not a religious bigot, I just was to know the scientific position. What is the moderate quantity ? Personally, it is my experience that any drink makes us dull and less alert, whereas I like to be always alert except in sleep. I have seem that those who drink regularly lose their conscience at sublets level which they themselves realize. Even if alcoholic drinks provide temporary enjoyment, problems resurface as soon as effect is over. Please clarify the confusion.

You are absolutely right that after the effects of the alcohol are over, the demons coma back and sometimes with a vengeance! Not all religions prohibit alcohol consumption: they prohibit drunkenness. The clear evidence from science is that an average man who keeps himself fit can have two drinks a day, and a woman one drink a day, and for some reason, it is good to lower LDL, the bad cholesterol. The reason even doctors are afraid to share this information is that people can, in the guise of this finding, drink in excess and never know when to stop. Alcohol is a CNS depressant and can lower your alertness and delay your responses. On the other hand, that same influence relaxes you and lightens your burdens to ease some stress. However, it is the excess consumption and the loss of control that invites so much trouble.

I think you first have to b sure if blood is coming from throat common area of small blood ooze is ard teeth you can check it your self hold gum from outside n inside between two fingers n c if you c any traces or frank blood let me know n than v can decide remedy.
