Try eatng lots of garlic. If you cant have it get it homeopathically allium sativum,(biochemic) nat phos. Yes you can take protein powder but limit it to 1 gm/kg body weight.Also include egg whites, beans, sprouts, lean chicken,pulses and nuts into diet to support your muscle. Hope this helps you. stay healthy stay fit.☺

Can Ayurveda Boost Your Immunity?

The reason why you suffer from bad health every now and then is due to your poor immune system. Whenever there is a change in weather and you are attacked by the flu virus, stop blaming the weather because it is actually your weakened immune system that has let you down. Same goes for the particular food you eat or the way you heal from your wounds rather slowly.

So, if you really want to boost up your immunity system, then you can take a cue from the books of Ayurveda. Ayurveda not only believes in healing the body but makes sure that the root cause is weeded out so that you stay healthy for a longer duration of time.

Let us see how Ayurveda develops your immune system so that you can withstand all kinds of emotional, physical and most importantly, environmental challenges.

  1. The first thing Ayurveda says is to stick to healthy and nutritious foods. That doesn’t mean, you can’t cheat once in a week, but make sure that you have a protein rich and less carbohydrate diet. Make sure your food is warm; neither hot nor cold when you consume it.
  2. Cold foods and drinks are harmful to your body because they affect the digestive system. Say no to any kind of aerated drinks.
  3. Avoid foods, which are oily and especially difficult to digest.
  4. Take care of your muscles and skin by massaging daily with sesame or sunflower oil. They help in rebuilding the tissues of your body.
  5. While taking a bath, apply some essential oils such as lavender, rosemary, eucalyptus or juniper oil in a tub of warm water. This will make you feel fresh and uplift your mood.
  6. While cooking, add some spices to your food, especially turmeric, cumin, coriander or cinnamon. These will increase the food value.

There are some suggestions made by Ayurveda:

  1. Make sure you get an adequate of 6-8 hours of sleep. Avoid sleeping less or oversleeping.
  2. Exercise regularly; yoga, walking, free hand exercises which will increase blood circulations in your body.

Finally, avoid negative thinking. Make sure you are infused with a positive spirit, no matter what the situation is. Doing this, you will stay physically and mentally spirited. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an ayurveda.

I am 32 years with 72kg weight. I had pcos but reduced weight now its not coming in ultrasound also had trap egg problem. I got my AMH checked also it 4.86 in the normal range. Will I be able to conceive normally.

Trap egg problem could be limited to a particular cycle and may or may not recur. But lifestyle modification should continue and necessary medications for making a mature egg and triggering it so as to release it with tubal evaluation should be done. My cesarean section done 20 days before. Can I walk for 2 hours in a day? And I want to start my job. For that I have to sit for 5 to 6 hour in a day. Can I do that also.

Hello, walking for 2 hrs total with intermittent rest is allowed. Sitting in continuation for 2 hrs can be done. You can walk for 10 mts in between.

Ayurvedic treatment is better treatment. According to ayurveda, licorice can also help treat anal itching. Licorice is good for skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis that cause anal itching. It helps reduce itching, redness and irritation. 1. Slightly roast a mixture of equal amounts of licorice, rind of chebulic myrobalan (also called haritaki) and cardamom. 2. Grind them into a fine powder. 3. Mix ? teaspoon of this powder and 1 teaspoon of honey in a glass of water. 4. Drink it once daily until you get relief. You can also apply an over-the-counter licorice cream on the affected area a few times daily any queries inform me.

Dear Lybrate User, *Avoid more salty, dry, maida related junk foods, more tea, coffee. *Consume more fresh fruit juice. *Practice yoga, meditation, breathing exercise. *Cleansing shall be one of the most important steps of your skin care routine. Even if you are not having an acne problem washing the face twice a day helps in removing dirt, oil and dead skin cells from the surface of your skin. Less oil and dirt also means less acne. While washing your face never apply soap and always use a mild face cleanser. Also wash the face only with warm or cold water as using hot water can cause pimples *Siting an unpleasant pimple makes us want to pop it immediately to get rid of it. But touching and popping pimples can only accentuate the problem. Don’t let your hands touch your face very often. It can spread bacteria, cause infections or further more pimples which you certainly don’t want. wonder product which you already have in your kitchen and it can help you fight against pimples is baking soda. A mixture of baking soda and lemon juice can be applied on the skin to make it pimple free. Baking soda is an amphoteric compound which means it can work both as an acid and as a base. It helps in neutralizing the skin’s pH, imbalance in which is often a cause behind acne. It also dries the skin removing any extra oil and mixing some baking soda with water works wonderfully in cleansing and exfoliating our skin.

Improving complexion 1.Drinking lots of water is good 2.Take nutritious and timely food. 3.Avoid fried foods and eat fruits, nuts, greens, milk and whole grains. 4.Have timely and adequate sleep. This is one of the major reasons for sagging of skin 5.Be relaxed and avoid tension 6.Daily jogging or such exercise to ensure good blood circulation which helps nutrients reaching the skin and face. Facial massage will also promote good circulation. 7.Don?t expose to hot direct sun. Wear cap, full sleeve shirt and shoes which will protect you from sun.. Generally 10 AM to 4 PM is the hottest. Avoid exposure at that time. 8.
