I am a diabetes patient .i had a diabetes from at least 2 years and tried all the medication as well as ayurvedic but I do not find any changes I am diabetes level. It was not increasing to high bt it increase some time. N my diabetes level don't come as I am taking so much of medicines. What should I do now suggest me .i want to get rid of this diabetes.

Mr. lybrate-user, From what you have written, there is no clue about what is the current blood glucose level. Please give following details to give any guidance or advice: fasting, PP blood glucose levels, HbA1c%, dietary pattern and extent of daily exercise being done. Please understand one thing clearly, diabetes is a disease which can only be controlled by appropriate drugs, diet control and exercise. There is no CURE. You will have to live with it. If you do not treat it properly then serious long term complications will affect every single vital organ in your body. Only treatment available is with modern medicines. Thanks.

Leucorrhea or excessive discharge per vagina can be a troublesome problem for many women. At certain times in the menstrual cycle the vaginal discharge is normally increased as in mid-cycle and just before the periods. This is normal . However if the discharge is smelly or excessive warranting use of sanitary towels or panty liners or associated with vulval/ vaginal itching it needs to be investigated.

Abnormal vaginal discharge associated with the above symptoms may be due to local infection. It may also be related to poor health, mal-nutrition, constipation, worm infestation , anaemia, local trauma and allergy to local soaps and deodrants.

If the discharge is persistent it is very important to consult a Gynaecologist who may prescribe antibiotics, creams, pessaries and sometimes get swabs done.

It is important to keep the area clean using plain water and dry One should avoid any form of soap/ dettol/ detergent and powders and perfumes in that area as it is very sensitive. Also general health should be improved and anaemia and mal-nutrion should be corrected. Deworming may be required. A local wash like V-wash can be applied once in a while locally that helps maintaining local pH. Drinking adequate water daily is also very important.

I am using 33 unit human mixtard u40. Yesterday I bought an insulin pen novo4. That's unit is different in u100. How many unit is taken in U100 pen?

U100 and u40 is different. If you will commit mistake in that than there can be dangerous outcome.And your sugar will go haywire. And also both insulin is different. Ask your diabetologist about it.

I 'm a 25 years old who gained 30 kg weight since 2 and half years post wedding and I currently weigh 105 kg. My weight rose due to stress and change in food culture, I had prolactin high post my abortion and later it became normal but the weight kept increasing. I can't hit gym as I have back pain problem and I am a vegetarian. Currently I am suffering from muscle spasm and nerves weakness from lower head to neck radiating to shoulder blades past 6 months. Doctor prescribed drugs of epilepsy and fibromyalgia though the brain MRI was normal and my feet were swollen ,he told I have a vascular stretch near neck anyways the medicine don't alleviate my pain so after months now I am under homeopathic treatment .please give me a diet chart that would help me reduce my weight. I am trusting only that a proper diet and walking can help me now. I walk for half an hour a day more than that gives me neck pain. I do cooking with my hubby as he helps me due to my neck pain and small home cores .my thyroid levels are normal, no diabetics.

Hi thanks for writing. According to your height your weight should be 55 kg you have to loss 50 kg weight only. Do not worry its not a big target you can easily loose this 50 kg weight. First we have to find our reason of your weight gain. There are so many reason for weight gain. You have to remember one thing avoid dieting for weight, cause dieting will help you loose some weight but after some period you will put on double weight. Tips for weight loss. 1. Dear Lybrateuser, - Any form of exercise should be started & increased gradually over a period of time - also do warming up for 5-10 min like a walk & stretching before the main exercise - start with 5-10 per set then increase by 5-6 after 4-5 days, you should not feel tired or muscles should not ache - also cool down after your exercise session.

Hi, do regular exercise. Take 2 banana with warm milk in the morning. Eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk overnight. Include protein rich food in your diet like soyabean sattu with milk and milk product. Eggs, sprouts, combination of cereals and pulses. Take healthy and heavy breakfast. No drink before meals. Take frequent meals instead of 3 big meals.
