Hello. Breast milk contains very good amount of water to fulfill thirst of baby. Nothing other than breast milk needs to be given not also water. Water may be source of infection, it is easily contaminated. On other hand breast milk is free from risk of contamination.

You have to eat well and exercise well. You need a fat loss diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oil, nuts and seeds. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, white rice and products, bread. Do not overeat. Eat 3 proper meals and 2 snack in between. Stop when your stomach is 80% full. Eat slowly,

Take 1 tablespoon of milk powder and mix it with one tablespoon of honey, one tablespoon of lemon juice and half tablespoon of almond oil. Mix all the items well, make it a paste and apply it on your face and neck daily and wash after an hour. It will give you a perfect glowing skin.

take lemon juice, 1 glass daily. Take coconut water, every third day. Take 1 tsf of gokshura powder in half a glass of warm water twice a day, empty stomach. Stop cold water, cold eatables, curd, nuts, paalak, raajma in your diet. Never carry the urge to urinate. Continue the regime for 2 month. good luck

1. You may be having anxiety or stress. Avoid stress. 2. You need 7-8 hours of sound sleep to remain healthy. 3. Go for regular exercise, Take part in games and sports, 4. Do yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise like pranayama to calm your mind, control your emotion, relieve anxiety and improve concentration. 5. Adhere to a specific sleep time and regular schedule 6. Take light dinner. 7. Avoid taking tea/coffee at bed time. Have a glass of warm milk at bed time. 8. Dear Lybrate user. I can understand. Size of penis never matters in a sexual intercourse. Love and passion matters and determines the sexual pleasure. Average size of erect penis is 5 inches. But even a two inch erect penis can satisfy any woman across the world just because, woman sexual nerve endings which is the reason for pleasure for women, are available only up to two inches from the opening of vagina. Therefore, please don't worry. You can improve the size of your penis by massaging it with olive oil and doing kegal pelvic strengthening exercises. Hi mouth ulcers can vary is size, shape and number. Mouth ulcers are self limiting, which means they heal naturally by themselves. The medications are only to ease the pain and burning sensation during the course of the healing. Please do not self prescribe any medications as it might at times delay the healing of the ulcer. Just do this small exercise: Sleep with legs raised up from waist against the wall straight up, making 90 degree angle for 5 mins. Its better you do in early morning, else you can do it anytime. You have all my sympathies and I am very concerned that this person has not reached what we call, ‘Hitting Rock Bottom’ as yet. To me his Rock Bottom could be death i.e. Only death can stop his addiction! Anyway do not despair as yet and you may attempt the following and see how it works: in this attempt, he may be taken to a de-addiction center that is strict and will also have follow up treatment and AA meetings for him to compulsorily attend. You are too young to implement my suggestions and will need the help of some adults in the family. So whatever I suggest, kindly involve or share it with mom or elder family members to make it effective and suffer the least backlashes, if any. Ideally, this person should want to give up alcohol himself to begin with. If not, it is going to be an uphill task and to the most part impossible. However, you should not be in want of trying. If he is unwilling to seek help, he needs to be admitted to a rehabilitation center for at least 6 months. If not, there are centers who will come and pick him up when he is drunk, when his resistance will be ineffective. This will require mom's permission and written consent. After he returns from therapy, there will be a lot of follow-ups, both in the house and in his daily activities that must be meticulously adhered to. There is a medicine called Disulfiram, which only the doctor can prescribe, and it is very powerful that even if he attempts to drink a small quantity, he can have serious reactions that may sometimes entail hospitalization. You have to monitor his intake of the medicine and keep a close watch on him. He also has to go for regular counseling for at least three years! Apart from his health, he will also affect the family and all his children will carry genetic factors for alcoholism. If he is into business or working, he will soon not be able to continue and he will go into financial ruin. He will lose all his friends and become ostracized by his society. He will lose his dignity, self-esteem, self-confidence, and become a misfit. He will also lose his sexual capacity, liver function, heart function, kidney etc. Now it is difficult to give up because he has become addicted to alcohol for some time and has a lot to do. The consumption of Antabuse has to be carefully monitored to see that he not only consumes the medication but is also avoiding alcohol. Ultimately, it is his will power and the support that he receives from the medical fraternity and his close and dear ones. He must also learn to substitute and deal with the oral need, a rigid value system, the script issue, and of course take a look at all the genetic factors to plan a strategy not to get into what is called ‘cross addictions’ i.e. Another form of addiction that may appear alright but is in fact as bad as the primary addiction. The center or hospital and the counselor will advise and guide him on several measures and precautions he will need to take to stay with his resolve. Even after the rehabilitation he must attend AA meetings and continue this support for a long time. The family will also need to attend some sessions and go for Al-anon meetings for their co-dependency issues. He cannot be treated in isolation because the family has gotten used to his drinking and have made some unhealthy adaptations to somehow cope. The children, including you and whoever else is there, will also have to attend meetings to work out their issues because of the father’s habit. In fact, they are all suffering from the Adult Children Of Alcoholics Syndrome (ACOAs), which in effect means that you are genetically predisposed to alcoholism or can have cross addiction problems and that you will have similar traits of the abusing alcoholic but in a milder form. There are special support groups for them all over the world. Should they touch or indulge in alcohol or any addictive substances or behaviors, they could also become full-fledged addicts themselves. Now you should not give up on him but neither should you harass him. Be continuously after him and in the end, you will succeed. His medical condition warrants a very strict course of action.

Dear lybrate user with the limited amount of information provided it appears that you are suffering from diabetes. It could had been better had you provided us with your last prescription, latest fasting sugars, hba1c levels and any other recent relevant investigations along with the complete medication list. For the successful treatment of diabetes it is advised if you can start exercising on a regular basis preferably 30-45 minutes, diet modifications with low carbohydrate and high fibre diet along with medications as advised. I am taking sitagliptin 100mg on one time a day, volix m 0. 3 alongwith breakfast or dinner time, gp4 before breakfast, or gp2 before diiner from one month but after one month checkups of my bs fasting is 170 and bs pp is 260 now. All this while, while everyone has been fighting towards eradicating malnutrition, childhood obesity had risen on one side and is ringing its warning siren. The worrying statistics is that as many as 15% of children (aged 6 to 11 years) and adolescents (aged 12 to 17 years) are obese.
When a person?s calorie intake is more than what he/she can burn out, the excess calories get stored as fat. This accumulation over a period of time leads to obesity.
What Leads to Obesity in Children?
Obesity can be attributed to two major factors ? lifestyle and genetics. Agreed, that a family history of obesity is a major risk factor that cannot be changed but when it comes to life style it solely depends on parenting.
Food choices ? In today?s fast-paced routine, it has become common to adopt unhealthy food choices. Consumption of regular junk food/fast food, sugary drinks, fattening foods and having large snack sizes are all the different ways that can lead to childhood obesity.
Lack of Physical Activity ? There is a rapid decline in moderate-to-vigorous physical activity in today?s young generation. Children are driven to school or are given bikes to get around to places. The activity of walking hasn?t been adopted as a practice at all. The combination of high calorie foods with a sedentary lifestyle is a major cause for weight gain. Also, with the level of education becoming very competitive physical activity takes a back seat in the school environment. Physical education is seen as a rest period between academic classes with no proper monitoring.
Sedentary lifestyle ? With increase in entertainment for children via television, video games and recreational computer use they are becoming couch potatoes. Outdoor games and activities are replaced by indoor recreational activities. With both parents working mostly these days there is no supervision of what the child is doing once back from school. This works as much as in the child?s favor to be cuddled inside the house all the time.
What Can You do as a Parent?
But as the belief goes, a child?s behavior is a neat reflection of his/ her upbringing . So much desired change in the child?s habits.
Encourage healthy eating habits ? Including a healthy diet of adding vegetables and fruits, dairy products and cereals on a daily basis. Children should be encouraged to take nutritional foods while fast foods and processed foods should be weekend perks.
Limit junk food ? Hoarding on snacks can be avoided. Frozen foods are best served at parties and get togethers at home.
Increase physical activity levels ? It is suggested that at least 60 minutes of physical activity a day is necessary for the child; however an increase in this is even better. Having children travel long distances for school and extracurricular activities can leave them tired by the end of the day. Chart out their daily time table and include a good 15-20 minutes of rigorous exercise each day. You can accompany your child for a walk in the mornings or after dinner and make it a useful bonding time with them.
Make it sound fun to ?be healthy? ? Make your child understand the pros and cons of leading an active lifestyle. Give them short assignments or sit with them to find out more about healthy foods. Involve all the members of the family in adopting sound habits. Appreciate healthy practices via non-food rewards.
The long-term health consequences of overweight begins in childhood or adolescence. This puts overweight children/ adolescents at increased risk for various chronic diseases earlier in life. So heed to the calls and initiate action right away.
It all begins with you starting out as a wise parent.
