Lubricate your hair. Using a moisturizer greatly reduces the chances of split ends and promotes hair growth by diminishing breakage. However, to avoid overtly oily hair, use only a little moisturizer or try lubricating your hair a couple of hours before hair wash. Moisturized hair will attract dust if you go out.

Hello. We do have good and effective medicines in homoeopathy for unwanted facial hair. Want to know whether do you have any hormonal imbalance? medication: schwabe's oleum jacoris 3x/ 3 times a day for a month. There are few tips or home remedies which will help to get rid of your unwanted facial hair: - take safflower oil (kusuma oil) and thanaka (yellowish-white cosmetic paste, available in ayurvedic stores). Remove unwanted hair either by using hair removal cream or by shaving. Take some kusuma oil and grind thanaka in it. Prepare a paste. The thickness of the paste should be similar to hair removal cream. Apply it on hair removed areas. Massage until the skin pores absorb it. Leave it for 3-4 hours. (you can also apply it at night, before sleeping). Wash with water. Use this method continuously for 100 days. You will get rid of unwanted hair, permanently. -one of the reasons for unwanted hair growth in women is the excess levels of testosterone (a hormone). Spearmint tea helps in reducing the level of this hormone, thereby decreases the growth of unwanted hair. Laser therapy: there are different types of laser therapies available in the market for hair removal. It beams highly concentrated light into hair follicles. Pigment in the follicles absorb the light. That destroys the hair. Lasers are useful for removing unwanted hair from the face, leg, arm, underarm, bikini line, and other areas. Lasers can selectively target dark, coarse hairs while leaving the surrounding skin undamaged. Small areas such as the upper lip can be treated in less than a minute, and large areas, such as the back or legs, may take up to an hour. Many people have permanent hair loss after an average of three to seven sessions/ sittings and later may not require any sittings, but few of them may need maintenance sittings in future. (if the laser is taken from an expert hand, it wouldn't harm your skin).

I have access sebum on scalp, when I scratch via nail, it comes out as a white oily substance. How to get rid of it? Kindly advise. I feel my hair being clogged with dirt and oily sebum though I was frequently.

I have access sebum on scalp, when I scratch via nail, it comes out as a white oily substance. How to get rid of it? ...
Dear lybrate-user During humid months, people having oily skin will see sebum and scales in the nail on scratching. That is normal and cannot be cleared as sebum is the anti-germ substance produced to protect the skin. Ketoconazole containing shampoos are helpful for short periods (used twice weekly). However overusing shampoos will dry up your skin. So maintain a healthy balance of daily bathing with water and using shampoo (medicated or otherwise) twice a week.

Eczema is a form of dermatitis, or inflammation of the epidermis. The term eczema is broadly applied to a range of persistent skin conditions. These include dryness and recurring skin rashes which are characterized by one or more of these symptoms: redness, skin edema (swelling), itching and dryness, crusting, flaking, blistering, cracking, oozing, or bleeding. Areas of temporary skin discoloration may appear and are sometimes due to healed lesions, although scarring is rare. In contrast to psoriasis, eczema is often likely to be found on the flexor aspect of joints. Homoeopathy takes a mild and gentle approach in treating eczema. Homeopathy treats eczema in two phases: in the first phase, Homeopathic medicines control itching. In the next phase, they heal the lesions and control further progression of eczema. Homeopathic medicines also work wonders in case of eczema attended with complaints of hay fever and asthma. Prominent names in this category are Graphites, Sulphur, Petroleum, Mezereum and Natrum Mur. Homeopathic medicines for eczema are natural and therefore, safe from any adverse side-effects. They can be taken by persons of all age groups. You can easily take an online consultation for further treatment guidance and permanent cure without any side effects

Most people normally shed 50 to 100 hairs a day. This usually doesn't cause noticeable thinning of scalp hair because new hair is growing in at the same time. Hair loss occurs when this cycle of hair growth and shedding is disrupted or when the hair follicle is destroyed and replaced with scar tissue. The exact cause of hair loss may not be fully understood, but it's usually related to one or more of the following factors: • Family history (heredity) • Hormonal changes • Medical conditions • Medications Family history (heredity) The most common cause of hair loss is a hereditary condition called male-pattern baldness or female-pattern baldness. It usually occurs gradually and in predictable patterns — a receding hairline and bald spots in men and thinning hair in women. Heredity also affects the age at which you begin to lose hair, the rate of hair loss and the extent of baldness. Pattern baldness is most common in men and can begin as early as puberty. This type of hair loss may involve both hair thinning and miniaturization (hair becomes soft, fine and short). Hormonal changes and medical conditions A variety of conditions can cause hair loss, including: • Hormonal changes. Hormonal changes and imbalances can cause temporary hair loss. This could be due to pregnancy, childbirth or the onset of menopause. Hormone levels are also affected by the thyroid gland, so thyroid problems may cause hair loss. • Patchy hair loss. This type of nonscarring hair loss is called alopecia areata . It occurs when the body's immune system attacks hair follicles — causing sudden hair loss that leaves smooth, roundish bald patches on the skin. • Scalp infections. Infections, such as ringworm, can invade the hair and skin of your scalp, leading to scaly patches and hair loss. Once infections are treated, hair generally grows back. • Other skin disorders. Diseases that cause scarring alopecia may result in permanent loss at the scarred areas. These conditions include lichen planus, some types of lupus and sarcoidosis. • Hair-pulling disorder. This condition, also called trichotillomania, causes people to have an irresistible urge to pull out their hair, whether it's from the scalp, the eyebrows or other areas of the body. Medications Hair loss can be caused by drugs used for cancer, arthritis, depression, heart problems, high blood pressure and birth control. Intake of too much vitamin A may cause hair loss as well. Homoeopathic treatment HAIR GROWTH OIL ( Wilmar Schwabe India) Apply twice weekly at night.Leave overnight A.C.9 ( BAKSON ) Chew 1 tab twice daily ADEL 9 ( ADEL ) 10 drops in 20 ml fresh water 3 times a day 6-8 glasss extra water daily 2 glas milk daily Take nutritious diet Avoid junk nd spicy food, fast food, cold drinks

Hello, there can be many reasons behind it like *physical or emotional stress, inadequate protein intake, genetics, anemia, aging, hormonal changes, prolonged illness, deficiency of vitamin b6 and folic acid, thyroid diseases. Take homoeopathic medicine lycopodium 30 (4 drops in little water) twice a day for 15 days and update. Apply jobarandi hair oil. *make a habit of 8-10 glasses of water daily. *eat healthy and balanced food like pulses, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and nuts etc. *eggs as it is loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amount. *add more vitamin rich food to your diet. *avoid stress and anger. *cut down the use of hair spray, hair gel. *take a sound sleep. *avoid too much exposure of your hair to sunlight. *avoid hot hair styling tools, as they damage hair and cause split ends. *it is best not to comb the hair while it is wet as this leads to greater chances of hair breakage.
