Thanks for the query. There’s no overnight fix when it comes to healthy weight loss, but you can adjust your lifestyle to promote quick, natural weight loss for the benefit of your health and your appearance. Successful, long-term weight management needs to focus on more than the food you eat and the pounds you lose. It needs to focus on your overall health. Reshape your body and your lifestyle by adopting healthy habits and breaking unhealthy ones. Replace all processed foods in your diet with vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low-fat dairy, lean meats, eggs, legumes, nuts, seeds and seafood. Focus on the variety of whole, unprocessed foods you can eat instead of dwelling on the junk food you eliminated from your diet. Eat smaller portions at every meal and avoid going back for seconds. Take a smaller scoop of rice,  half of a piece of chicken instead of a whole piece and one less egg in your morning omelet, for example. Make time for breakfast every morning. Eating breakfast helps prevent overeating and is a habit of people who successfully lose weight. Pack to-go meals instead of eating convenience foods when you’re not home. Store foods like chopped fruits and vegetables or cooked grains, legumes, eggs and meats in your refrigerator so you always have something to grab when you’re in a rush. Buy fresh vegetables and fruits from the grocery store if you forget to bring healthful food from home. When you can’t avoid dining at a restaurant, opt for a salad as a starter, and always ask for the dressing on the side. Clear soups, lean meats, seafood and grain-based dishes like roti, whole grain bread are other good choices. Exercise for 30 to 60 minutes at least three times per week to build muscle and burn more calories. Pilates, strength training, aerobics, swimming, dancing and yoga or a sport like football are ideal choices. If you’re new to exercising, start with brisk walking and jogging. Adopt physically demanding hobbies like bicycling, hiking, jogging, power walking to promote faster weight loss. If you don’t have time for new hobbies, increase your physical activity with things like walking the dog, playing with the kids or jogging instead of driving to a nearby store or taking the stairs instead of the elevator. Weigh yourself weekly and record your weight. Adjust your diet and physical activity according to the progress you’re making.

Hair tips for better hair growth and prevent hair fall - 1. Having a healthy diet - Having a diet which is full of protein, vitamins and minerals is an important aid towards having healthier hair growth. Consume food which is high in vitamin A, B, C and E. Vitamin B-complex is another very effective vitamin for promoting hair growth. For the minerals, try and consume iron, copper, zinc, selenium and magnesium. Walnuts, beans, flax seeds are rich in omega 3 fatty acids which are great for hair growth You could also have some juices of fruits and veggies, like orange, grapefruit or carrot, lettuce and beet 2. Castor oil has a high content of vitamin E and essential fatty acids, like omega 9. This is why it is an essential ingredient which helps to promote hair growth. Castor oil is too thick to be applied directly, which is why you must dilute it with oil like coconut, almond or olive. Massage your hair with the oil (jaborandi) mix and leave it on for 30-45 minutes. You could also slightly get it heated. Shampoo your hair and condition as regular. 3. Regular scalp massage - When you massage your scalp, it promotes blood circulation which in turn stimulates our hair follicles. Along with that, deep condition the hair once a week with warm oil treatment or a deep conditioning hair mask. 4. Hello, Get your eyesight tested. Tired eyes also pains and becomes reddish. Management: - Try to rest your eyes if redness is due to fatigue or eye strain. No other treatment is needed. - Wash your hands, hold clean water in your hand, keep your eyes closer to the water and wash the eyes by blinking the eyelids frequently in the held water in hand. Repeat it for 3-4 times again. - Avoid watching T.V., working on computer or mobile, reading. - In case there is itching, use a clean napkin or a tissue to wipe the tears and cleaning the eyelids gently. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Schwabe’s Belladonna 30 and Euphrasia 30 - both thrice daily for 4 days. Use Euphrasia Eye drops twice daily. Revert back thereafter.

Dear Lybrate user, At present according to your statement you are feeling pain on the skull above ear. You may ginger paste there for half an hour. Pain may be gastric, or any injury or gastric. There are so many reasons of these type if headaches. If the pain is only one point, you may inform me as you know there are so many medicines in homeo but depends on the details. Any how you may call back the pain continues or you are not being recovered.

1.no alcohol 2. Reduce body wt 3. No smoking/ tobacco 4. Diet - no ghee/ butter, have mix of vegetable oils - mustard, til, ground nut, olive oil, have more green vegetables and fruits, have whole grain atta, no fried. Fast. Spicy / processed/ junk food. Less sugar, potato, rice 5. 30 mts brisk walk daily 6. Deep breathing exercise for 10 mts daily 7. Meditation daily for 10 mts. 6-8 hrs of sleep at night 8. Expose your body to sun for 15-20 mts daily after some oil massage to get vit d. 9. Take more water for medicine and further advise contact on private chat.

hi lybrate user, in first 3months it is not advisable to have iron supplements as it may increase vomiting. please have a short frequent meals and diet rich in carbohydrates don't have water with food. Avoid spicy oily food. regards to medicine you should use antiemetic only when diet and other measures doesn't work. avoid use of medicine without gynecologist prescription.

Heavy use of hair products, overwashing, overdrying, compromised internal health, and environmental exposure to toxins can all lead to an unhealthy, unbalanced scalp, characterized by dryness and the presence of dandruff. Try the following natural remedies to restore the scalp back to health and relieve these unpleasant symptoms. 1. Apple cider vinegar: Apple cider vinegar can be used as a hair rinse to soften your hair, but it can also be used to restore the pH levels of your scalp, and has been applied traditionally to relieve scalp flaking. To Use: Mix ½ cup of water with ½ cup of apple cider vinegar. Pour the mixture over dry hair, or after washing, and rub it into your scalp. Allow it to sit for 15 minutes, then rinse. 2. Coconut oil: Coconut oil has many benefits for your skin, and can soothe a dry, flaky scalp. You can also apply it to your hair to moisturize and nourish dry or damaged hair. To Use: Melt a small amount of coconut oil in your hands and rub it into your scalp, covering the entire surface with oil. Allow it to sit for 30 minutes before washing it out with a gentle shampoo, like derma e Scalp Relief Shampoo or TheraNeem Shampoo. I like to give my coconut oil a boost by adding a few drops of essential oil (see suggestions below). 3. Shea butter: Shea butter is another oil that is deeply moisturizing and soothing for dry, itchy scalps or irritated, red scalps. It is also an amazing treatment for dry or damaged hair. To Use: Soften the shea butter in your hands and rub it into your scalp. If you want a deep moisturizing hair treatment, rub it into your hair as well, especially focusing on the ends or any damaged areas. Allow it to sit for 30 minutes, then wash out with a gentle shampoo. 4. Castor oil: Castor oil stimulates circulation and movement in your skin and tissues. It’s used in Ayurveda [link to Dermveda article] as a remedy for dandruff and dry skin, and also to stimulate hair growth. Because it’s a very thick and sticky oil, I prefer to dilute the thickness of castor oil by mixing it with a thinner oil like coconut, olive, or almond oil. To Use: Massage the castor oil (or a blend) into your scalp, allow it to sit for 30 minutes, then wash with shampoo. If you’re using castor oil to stimulate hair growth, repeat this process at least 3-4 times a week.

Did you know that adding spices to your diet can help you lose weight? Well, now you do!  We have been using spices for years and years to enhance the taste of our food but were unknown to this magical thing that they could do. Turns out these spices not only make our food tasty but also help a great deal in losing weight. Plus, these are all readily available in our kitchens. The various spices that aid in weight loss are:

  1. Cinnamon

Cinnamon is useful in balancing our insulin levels. Cells respond to insulin more readily because of cinnamon, and hence this is how cinnamon aids in weight loss. Thus, our blood sugar levels get balanced too. Cinnamon can be sprinkled as a seasoning. It can be sprinkled over coffee, smoothies. Or this spice can also be used in cooking.

       2. Turmeric

Turmeric is a spice that is used in almost every Indian recipe. A component in turmeric called curcumin is what helps in weight loss. It decreases fat accumulationand bulk of fat tissue thus helping in weight loss.

       3. Ginger

Ginger is also a spice that is used in various Indian recipes. It is used to enhance the flavour of tea and also in other dishes. This spice helps speed your metabolism up and thus it plays an important role in weight management.

      4. Mustard

Mustard seeds help in boosting the metabolism rate. It means that calories get burned more effectively. Mustard seeds can be used for cooking or this mustard spice can also be had in the form of sauce. Mustard sauce is readily available and can be eaten with a varietyof dishes.

     5. Garlic

Follow these best tips to get normal and natural pink lips:- 1. Moisturize your lips you must keep your lips moisturized if you want them to stay healthy and therefore pink. If you are going outside, try applying a bit of petroleum jelly or lip balm and if you are inside, use some milk fat (ghee). 2. Crush up the pomegranate seeds and mix it with some milk cream. If you apply this home remedy to your lips regularly, you will start to see them becoming redder and fuller. * slice a cucumber, rubbing it against your lips to allow the juices to soak on. If you do this for five minutes each day, you can lighten dark lips to a beautiful pink color. * simply soak some rose petals in milk for a little bit of time. Then use the petals to make a paste, adding a few drops of both glycerin and honey. Apply the paste on your lips and wait fifteen minutes before gently rubbing it off using milk. This remedy can produce amazing results. * cut a thin slice from the lemon, sprinkling a bit of sugar on top and rub your lips with this combination each day. This works well because lemon works to naturally bleach your lips, returning them to their light, pink color while sugar works to exfoliate dead skin cells. * mix sugar, honey and a little bit of olive or almond oil. Apply this to your lips, massaging it in for ten minutes.

Sprinkle a pinch of black pepper on anything that you eat. This will increase your hunger. Eat papaya and banana daily. Papaya will improve your hunger and banana helps gain healthy weight. Drink lots of full fat milk daily. Include lots of proteins in your diet in form if soyabean, eggs and dal. Start taking 2 tsp of ashwagandhawlehya daily with milk at night. Take at least 1 cup if freshly prepared curd in afternoon daily.(not at night)

Dear, You must be able to understand Concentration, attention span, recollection and distraction. If you are able to watch a movie for two hours continuously, if you are able to play a game for an hour, then you do not have any concentration problems. You can't be attentive towards your studies because you are not interested in it. You are able to watch movie and play game because you are interested in it. Human cannot be attentive towards anything for more than 10 minutes. Then you should study in such a way that your attention is continued and make the subjects are interesting to you. Effective learning techniques should help you. Recollection depends on anxiety, stress and other physical and circumstantial factors. Distractions while studying are plentiful. You should be able to overcome distractions or avoid distractions. Please understand the above. Change your study style and attitude accordingly. Please post a private question to me and I will help you with "effective learning" techniques. Avocados, Beetroots, Blueberries, Broccoli. Celery, Coconut Oil, Dark Chocolate etc are good for improving concentration. Take care.

Try this for joint pains try this. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

Drink plenty of water, lemon juice and green tea. Do brisk walk for 15-30 min. Daily or yoga or aerobics or swimming. Avoid oily and fatty foods, junk food. Take plenty of salad and roughage. In case you need diet chart revert back.

Dear Patient Fenugreek seeds (trigonella foenum graecum) are high in soluble fibre, which helps lower blood sugar by slowing down digestion and absorption of carbohydrates. This suggests they may be effective in treating people with diabetes. But it is not alternative to medicines that control diabetes. Regards.
