Hi I need help im 20 years old boy mentally disturb I got admission in chennai in medical field I was quiet happy and energetic about the course but due to lack of communication and adjustment problem due to tamialins and malyalams who are against the north east people they hate im from northeast I got ragged to mentally for couples of month I was sick headache stress chest pain feeling low all the time couldn't concentrate on studies so I decided to change the college I did it now im trying to settle down in kolkata as the same course which I applied for but some people are saying why you change the college they share their option im confused did I take the right decision changing the college because that college is top india college I change due to not medically fit and fine every day I cry no body to talk with me all lonely homesick I was there for one year 2015 now im deciding to go kolkata did choose the right path im feeling guilty but I think from my point of view I did right but I do not why from inside something is itching please help to get rid out of this tension and stress give me some conclusion please help me im depressed all the time.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. One of the often encountered complication of diabetes is peripheral neuropathy. This is seen in most of the patients, even when blood glucose is fairly well controlled. But if the control is bad then symptoms can be more severe. If Gabapentin is giving relief then it is good. Only other thing to be kept in mind is to achieve a very strict blood glucose control with fasting < 100 mg, Pp 160 to 180 mg and HbA1c% <6.8. That will help in better relief. Thanks.

There must be inflammation of her occipital regeon and adjoining muscle. She might need some physiotherapy session and strengthening exercises. Same as her lower back also. Must teach a proper postural training also.

Don’t worry. You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. As soon as you start seeing the results, you will be surprised as well as motivated to go beyond your weight loss and adopt and a lifelong healthy attitude. For a start please follow: 1. Watch what you eat – Are you eating too much junk, drink excessive alcohol and eating too much white food and sugar? Please cut it down to as low as you can from tomorrow. Cut down tea/coffee if you are too addicted to it. It is creating havoc inside your body. 2. Lifestyle – Are you a late sleeper and late riser? You can’t imagine what this schedule of yours is doing to your metabolism. It is degrading your digestive system from inside and your looks from outside. 3. Physically active – If you are a couch potato who loves to watch tv whole day then throw that couch of yours in the street and get yourself a treadmill tomorrow. Yes it is as simple as that. Who is stopping you? You have to be physically active all day long if you want to burn those extra calories. Do daily brisk walk, Pranayam, atleast 20 surayanamaskar everyday to start seeing the results. Take break between office work to walk a little or rather just climb some stairs to get that food you ate in lunch have space and heat to digest and absorb. What’s the harm in using your washroom to do a little middle of the day squats. Do that – No one is watching you. The key is to stay physically active all day long, no matter what. 4. Eat healthy and eat on time: Not only eating healthy is important but eating at right time is equally imp too. Have an early breakfast and early dinner and have 4 small meals between breakfast and dinner. To guide you a bit, here you go: A. Breakfast (Between 8-10 a. M) – Have oats/porridge or brown bread with milk and nuts. B. At 11 a. M - Cup of Green Tea c. Mid day meal (around 12 p. M) – Have a bowl of fruits. Citrus fruits are best taken during this hour and absorb well in the body. Have oranges, amla, pineapple etc during this hour. D. Lunch (between 2-3 p. M) – Daal, roti, mix veg, buttermilk and salad. You can also take brown rice with daal in lunch. Try to get your food cooked in olive oil. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E. Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F. Evening (4-6 p. M) – Have some nice sprouts with tomatoes and cucumber. G. Dinner (2 hours before sleeping, preferably before 9 p. M) – Paneer & veggies salad with olive oil, Roti or brown rice with Daal. H. Have a glass of warm milk. Weight loss is 80% about what you eat and 20% about exercises. That said, both the things go hand in hand. If you want to lose weight in a more healthy way than be patient and just follow the regimen everyday. Slow and steady wins the race.

In the meantime aap milk aur protein zyada le. Jaise soya bean ya chicken and eggs agar abb non- eg consume kar sake daily 1-2 glass milk and dry fruits like almonds and walnuts (akrot aur badam, daily 3-4) height ke liye daily half - 1 hour cycling and pull ups. Genetic problem na ho to height 1-2 inch badh sakti (zyada se zyada, isse zyada nahi) hai naturally males me after 18 but not in females. Aapki present height bhi bata de. Toh us se possible chances of growth ka andaza lag sakta hai. 21 years ke pehle aap homeopathy bhi try kar sake hain if you are a male.

Dear, the height of body depends of many factors, but the main factors are: 1. Family history 2. Diet 3. Age 4. Sex 5. Lifestyle as you are young and so there is still chances of gaining height. There are methods by which you can gain some centimetres of height. 1. The height of body is largely depend on the length of your spine (vertebral column or back bone in general language). So you have to add the exercise of stretching of spine daily in morning. Here are the exercises! * first stand straight bare foot on floor, then raise your arms upwards then raise your heels of foot with breathing in, try to stand on heels for 10-12 seconds and slowly lower down your heels back on the floor and breath out the air. Repeat this exercise 5-8 times in morning. *sit on the floor, stretch you legs together so that both foot touch each other. Now raise your arms upwards together with back straight, now move your hands towards toes of feet and touch them. Your forehead touching your knees. Slowly revert back the arms and move back arms in normal position. Repeat this exercise 2-4 times daily. 2. Bone growth depends upon the adequate intake of calcium rich diet. So take 300 ml of rich cream milk, 200 gm of cheese and 2-3 eggs regularly. It will definitely give boost to your bone growth. 3. Vitamin d play very important role in bone growth. So sit in sun rays for atleast 8-10 minutes in morning of evenings when the sun rays are not so strong. 4. The growth and height is controlled by growth hormone which is secreted by pituitary gland situated in the brain. So take meditation and have a stress free lifestyle. Take 6-8 hours of sleep daily. For meditation, listen to slow and spiritual music, take long breaths for 15-20 minutes everyday. It makes your pituitary gland healthy and working properly.

For healthy weight gain, 1. Have small frequent meals at 2-3 hrs intervals containing foods rich in nutrient & calorie density (concentrated food low in volume) like paneer paratha, cheese-potato sandwich, dates-almonds milkshake, peanut chikki, til ladoo, banana kheer, atta halwa/gond ladoo, thicker atta-maida rotis with ghee, rice with ghee, cow/buffalo milk with skim milk powder, homemade cereal malt with milk & sugar, premix with soup, fruit juice, sugarcane juice, dry fruits, soyabean cutlet/roll, fruit lassi, egg curry/omlette/egg scramble/french toast, fatty fish, thick creamy chicken soup 2. Drink 2-3 litres water daily (but not with or just before meal) 3. Avoid junk foods & empty calorie snacks 4. Enjoy meals in a peaceful environment without distractions 5. Eat fast & in bigger utensils 6. Practice strength exercises-bench press, squats, push up, etc to increase lean mass only not causing any weight loss. Take 15 mins light walk before meals to enhance appetite. 7. Get a thyroid profile test done to rule out hyperthyroidism.

Apply mixture of onion juice and garlic juice in equal quantity massage and let it stay overnight and wash off with mild shampoo next morning. Hair mask: egg white mixed with lime juice apply this and keep it for 20 mins and rinse off. Follow this treatment for three months.

I having Lot of pimple on face and forehead. My skin is oily and dark, when I'm going out side I get sunburn then again it takes time to recover from sunburn. What should I do?
