The solution for this problem is its reduced usage and while using computor use in proper light. There is nothing more effective than controlling usage to reduce and negate the effects. You can also reduce the intensity of the computor screen by attaching a filter or by getting an eye-friendly screen. Above all, one must try to reduce the amount of computor usage or take frequent breaks. Make sure that the lightening in room is proper and you are at least at a distance of 10 feet from tv.

Have severe bilateral keratoconus. Using mini sclera lens at present with partially corrected vision in both eyes. Want to know what is the ucva that I can expect after undergoing dalk? Will I still have to wear contacts or will spectacles correct the vision. Regards.

Hi lybrate-user even after dalk you need to wear glasses as the procedure is correcting the pathology of kertoconus and not a refractive surgery. Sure the unva will improve after dalk but you have to wear glasses or lenses. Exact vision can't be predicted before surgery.

I have a problem in vision. When I see on white objects or shiny objects. A black spot appears before my left eye. When I rotate my eye that spot moves along with the eye. Even if I see at sky, I would see that black spot in front of my eye. Which rotates along with my eye. It disturbs me mostly during studies as a black spot appears on the pages, that diverts my attention.

Hello lybrate-user good morning 1. That black spot is floater 2. Floaters are due to vitreous (gel in eye) liquifaction. Which is natural phenomenon 3. This floater will not affect your vision 4. There is no cure/treatment for floater 5. One solution is to avoid it. Try to avoid it. Keep doing your work. After few days. Your brain will start neglecting it. Avoid it and concentrate on your studies. I hope this will help you.

Hello, get your eyes tested from an opthalmologist. Include the following for getting better vision: vitamins a, c, e, and minerals like copper and zinc are essential to eyesight. Get the antioxidants from dark leafy greens, egg yolks, yellow peppers, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, and carrots. Include garlic and onions. Blueberries, grapes as they have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can help improve your vision. Dha is a fatty acid found in coldwater fish like salmon, sardines and mackerel. Exercises for strengthening eye muscles: -begin by partially closing your eyes; the lids should only be halfway shut. After holding for 10-15 seconds, close your eyes very slowly. Take a few deep breaths to increase oxygen in the blood. -warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times. -hold a pen at arm's length. Focus your gaze on the tip of the pen. Bring the pen closer to your nose at a slow and steady pace. Repeat this exercise 5-10 times. -concentrate your vision on the tip of your nose. Then shift your gaze to an object further away, either at arm's length or 20 feet away. Then shift your eyes back to the tip of your nose. Repeat this exercise 10 times. -sit in a relaxed but upright position. Begin by look to the left-most position (without moving your head) and hold to stretch your eye muscles. Hold for 5 counts. Blink and return your gaze back to look straight in front of you. Then look to the right-most position with your gaze and hold for 5 counts. Repeat 3 times, blinking between each hold. Then, repeat this exercise looking up and then down. Do not forget about blinking. -sit in a relaxed but upright position. Look up and to your right for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look up to and to your left for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look down and to your right for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look down and to your left for 5 seconds. Insufficient sleep may weaken your vision, so shoot for 8 hours of sound sleep a night. Rest your eyes 10 minutes for every 50 minutes spent reading or in front of the computer. If your eyes feel overly tired, lie down and place cooling cucumber slices over your eyelids. Medication: take homoeopathic medicine which will help you in preventing first and then reducing the power of your eyes (if the eye power is less). Take physostigma 6/ thrice daily for 4-6 months and instill euphrasia eye drops twice a day. Thereafter, revert back for further guidance.

I am 62 years old and a glaucoma patient and using eye drops asopt and travatan daily for the last 3 years. I feel very weak and depressed. Is it due to the eye drops or something else. I do not have bp or sugar.

Neither of the drugs you are using (azopt or travatan) have depression as a side effect. It is unlikely that your depression is due to eye medication. Consult a psychiatrist please.

Hello, * u, should, first go for examination of your eyes for visionary error, if any. *avoid, dust, smoke, junk food. * take, easily digestible diet, * take, apples, carrots, mango, spinach, eggs, sprouts, almonds, walnuts. ** homoeo-care** @ physostigma 30-6 pills, thrice a day. @ cineraria (eye-drops), instill-2 drops in both d eyes, thrice a day. * adequate, sleep for at least 6 hrs is essential. * get-off from computer and laptop for 20 mnts. * avoid, watching tv in d late night. Report, fortnightly all d best.

Hello, It would be better if you wear the spectacles on regular basis or else chances of increase in the power and reduced visibility can occur, may be later. Include the following for getting better vision: Vitamins A, C, E, and minerals like copper and zinc are essential to eyesight. Blueberries, grapes, and goji berries have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can help improve your vision. DHA is a fatty acid found in coldwater fish like wild salmon, sardines, mackerel, and cod. Exercises for eyes: Warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times. Roll your eyes. Start by looking up and then slowly circle 10 times clockwise and 10 times counterclockwise. Focus. Hold a pen at arm's length, focus your eyes on it, and slowly bring the pen closer until it's about 6 inches away from your nose. Then slowly move it back, keeping your eyes focused on the pen, 10 times in all. Massage your temples. Using your thumb knuckles, massage your temples in small circles, 20 times in one direction and 20 in the other. Dear lybrate-user to get recovery from dandruff you should some home remedy available with you. Take curd mixed with alovera amlaki and mahend get together for one night. Then get it filtered. Take in a glass bowel and scalp massage 15 minutes. Within 7 days you will get free from dandruff.

Hello dear. 1. Smoke irritates cornea (most sensitive part of eye. This happens with every one. You need not to worry. 2. It is always advisable to avoid exposure of eyes to smoke. Always leave the place where smoke is 3. Use goggles 4. Wash your eyes with cold water 5. You can use lubricating eyedrop. These will soothen your eyes.

Dear lybrate user, first of all let me make it clear that you may experience nightfalls/nocturnal emission of sperm for twice in a month if you do not have a habit of masturbation or if you do not indulge in any sexual intercourse. However, if you experience nightfalls for more than twice in a month then it is surely abnormal. Every person experience an erection after a sleep of 6-8 hours. Such an erection during waking up from sleep is a typical characteristic of normal sexual system. An uninterrupted sleep of 6-8 hours pacifies the nerves which get hyper-activated after a long day's work & results in a sexual arousal by channelising the blood flow towards the male sexual system. But an erected penis cannot ejaculate involuntarily unless it is being rubbed as it undergoes during masturbation & sexual intercourse. Involuntary ejaculation of semen indicates that the internal muscles of your pelvic region are not strong enough to control the outflow of semen. However, nightfalls indicate that you are having a normal erection as well as it also proves that there is no deficit of sperm production in testis. Nightfall implies that there is only loss of control of the pelvic muscles. It is often observed that an unmarried person suffering from nightfalls complains of premature ejaculation after marriage if his problem of nightfalls is left untreated. The cause behind such quick discharge during sex is same as it is in case of nightfalls i. E. Loss of the control of the muscles of pelvic region. One of the common causes behind the loss of control of pelvic muscles is digestive troubles. Slow digestion compels the blood to circulate around the organs of digestive system until the ingested food is fully broken down into soluble food molecules. Such circulation of blood around the digestive system for a prolonged period often results in sluggish circulation of blood around the other systems of human body. Sexual system is one of such system whose normal functioning gets disturbed due to impaired digestion. Normally the number gets stabilised by 18 yrs of age. After 18 yrs if number is stable, depending upon your corneal thickness you can undergo laser eye surgery if thickness is good. Or ICL which is implantable collamer lenses. Presently you can use soft contact lenses , with strict aseptic precautions.

Dear as per your stated complaints, you r suffering from swimming pool conjuntivitis. This type of conjuntivitis is due to chemicals & contamination of swimming pool water. Avoid bathing in the pool. It will cure eye problems. If above treatment is not responding then please inform

There is no medication or food for improving eyesight or to get rid of glasses. If not interested in glasses then you can try a. Contact lens b. Lasik laser as your age is now 18 years so your number will not increase now whether you wear glasses or not as number becomes stable at age of 18-20 yrs. Having said that I advise you to eat balanced diet including green vegetables and seasonal fruits for keeping eyes and body healthy. As you are not comfortable with contact lens then go for lasik. Lasik is a very easy and painless procedure. If you want to get rid of glasses then go for lasik.

Lybrate-user, according to ayurveda it is symptoms of indigestion called aamajirna. Other symptoms associated with it are heavyness in abdomen, lazyness, stiffness in morning, getting full with little quantity of food, weight gain, pain in calf muscles etc main treatment is too reduce quantity of food * take only warm water * take ginger & turmeric before food 30 min * take ajvayan & jeera 1 tsp after food *avoid day sleep * avoid curd * take only cow milk & ghee * avoid sour salty & sweet food * start exercise let me know progress.
