Good to know that you are exercising in a gym. To build muscles in the body one has to eat optimum amount of protein as per the bodies requirement. Since you are allergic to eggs you can do fish, chicken and whey protein powder as a supplement. You have to eat proteins with each and every meal in the right quantity.

6 Health Foods That Are Really Junk Foods in Disguise

6 Health Foods That Are Really Junk Foods in Disguise

Your heart isn't one of the most important organs of your body, just like that. But it is nowadays, in constant danger with the rampant growth of heart disease, a leading cause of deaths around the world. Apart from your lifestyle choices, what you consume on a regular basis has a huge impact on the health of your heart. Unhealthy foods are the main reason the world is fatter and sicker than ever before. Surprisingly, some of these foods are considered healthy by many people.

Here are 6 health foods that are really junk foods in disguise:

  1. Processed 'Low-Fat' and 'Fat-Free' Foods: The 'war' on saturated fats is the biggest mistake in the history of nutrition. It was based on weak evidence, which has now been completely debunked. When this started, processed food manufacturers jumped on the bandwagon and started removing the fat from foods. But there is a huge problem, food tastes horrible when the fat has been removed. That's why they added a whole bunch of sugar to compensate. Saturated fat is harmless, but added sugar is incredibly harmful when consumed in excess. The words 'low-fat' or 'fat-free' on a packaging usually mean that it is a highly processed product that is loaded with sugar.
  2. Fruit Juices, Which are Basically Just Liquid Sugar: A lot of people believe fruit juices to be healthy. They must be, because they come from fruit, right? But a lot of the fruit juices you find in the supermarket isn't really fruit juice. Sometimes, there isn't even any actual fruit in there, just chemicals that taste like fruit. What you are drinking is basically just fruit flavoured sugar water. That being said, even if you are drinking 100% quality fruit juice, it is still a bad idea. Fruit juice is like fruit, except with all the good stuff (like the fibre) taken out, the main thing left of the actual fruit is the sugar. If you didn't know, fruit juice actually contains a similar amount of sugar as a sugar sweetened beverage.
  3. Heart Healthy & Whole Wheat: Most whole wheat products are not really made from whole wheat. The grains have been pulverized into very fine flour, making them raise blood sugar just as fast as their refined counterparts. In fact, whole wheat bread can have a similar glycemic index as white bread. But even true whole wheat may be a bad idea, because modern wheat is unhealthy as compared to the wheat our grandparents ate. There are studies showing that modern wheat may cause inflammation and increased cholesterol levels, at least when compared to the older varieties. Whereas, wheat may have been a relatively healthy grain back in the day, the stuff most people are eating today is best avoided.
  4. Margarine: Butter was demonized back in the day, due to the high saturated fat content. Various health experts started promoting margarine instead. Back in the day, margarine used to be high in trans fats. These days, it has less trans fats than before, but is still loaded with refined vegetable oils. Margarine is not a food, it is an assembly of chemicals and refined oils that have been made to look and taste like food. If you want to improve your health, eat real butter, but avoid processed margarine and other fake foods like the plague.
  5. Vegetable Oils: We are often advised to eat seed and vegetable oils. This includes Soybean oil, Canola oil and numerous others. This is based on the fact that these oils have been shown to lower blood cholesterol levels, at least in the short term. However, it is important to keep in mind that blood cholesterol is a risk factor and not a disease in itself. Even though vegetable oils can improve a risk factor, there is no guarantee that they will help prevent actual hard endpoints like heart attacks or death, which is what really counts. In fact, several controlled trials have shown that despite lowering cholesterol, these oils can increase the risk of death from both heart disease and cancer. So eat healthy, natural fats like ghee, cold pressed coconut oil, cold pressed sesame oil, cold pressed mustard oil and olive oil, but avoid processed vegetable oils as if your life depended on it (it does).
  6. Most Processed Breakfast Cereals: The way some breakfast cereals are marketed, is a disgrace. Many of them, including those that are marketed towards children, have all sorts of health claims plastered on the box. This includes misleading things like 'whole grain' or 'low fat'. But when you actually look at the ingredients list, you see that it is almost nothing, but refined grains, sugar and artificial chemicals. The truth is, if the packaging of a food says that it is healthy, then it probably is not. The truly healthy foods are those that do not need any health claims like whole, single ingredient foods. Real food doesn't even need an ingredient list, because real food is the ingredient.

Stop Snoring?

Are you feeling irritated because of snoring problem? Do you want to stop snoring? The problem of snoring is very common and it happens because their airway is in a place so as to do not permit finest air flow. Snoring is source by the lessening of the muscles in your flexible palate (top of your mouth,) throat and tongue. The tissues in your throat can obtain so calm so as to the partly chunk your airway plus shake as air rush past.

How to Stop Snoring

Remember that, if airways are narrower, there is more intense vibration plus the louder the snore. So, in this write up I have given you the best tips to stop snoring.

Best Tips to Stop Snoring:

There are many natural ways that help to stop the problem of snoring and best of them are as follows;

1. Throat Exercises:

Frequently pronounce certain vowel sounds plus curling the tongue in exact ways can support muscles in the upper respiratory tract also thus decrease snoring.
Put the tip of your tongue at the back your top front teeth. Glide your tongue backwards for 3 minutes a day.
Perform each vowel (a-e-i-o-u) out noisy for 3 minutes a few times a day.
By mouth open, shift jaw to the right plus hold for 30 seconds. Replicate on left side.
Seal your mouth and squeeze your lips. Grasp for 30 seconds.

2. Drop Weight:

If you gain weight in the region of your neck, it presses the internal diameter of the throat, building it extra likely to collapse throughout sleep, activate snoring.
The additional that blocks your throat the extra air is episodic as it flow over; make the vibrations which effect in the sound of snoring.

3. Alter Your Sleep Position:

Laying on your back make the foundation of your tongue as well as soft palate fall down to the back wall of your throat, cause a vibrating sound throughout sleep.
Resting on your side might help to stop this. A whole pillow that supports your complete body offers an easy fix. It allows you to keep sleeping on your side plus can create a dramatic disparity.

4. Adjust your Pillows:

Elevating your head can help open up airways and make breathing easier-but if your head is too high, your airways can get constricted and they arises snore.
If you have a pillow that is too thick, or you sleep on multiple pillows, try adjusting the height. Not too fluffy and not too flat is important when it comes to what you rest your head on.
Finding a pillow that keeps your head and neck in a proper position is worth taking the time to do to help you breathe right.

5. Sleeping Position:

Resting on your side is a successful method to stop snoring logically. Doing so can assist to stop the relaxation the tongue as of relaxing to the back wall of the throat.
Extra sleeping positions for example sleeping on your stomach otherwise propping-up your head can set strain on your neck ensuing in neck pain.

6. Nasal Clogging:

Clear nasal passages via a Neti pot, an over-the-counter saline spray otherwise a humidifier.
Nasal decongestants are one more option as they get better breathing plus permit you to breathe extra easily both throughout the day and whereas sleeping.

7. Keep away from Alcohol:

Alcohol plus sedatives decrease the resting tone of the muscles in the rear of your throat; make it more likely you’ll snore.

8. Stay Hydrated:

Once body are dehydrated our nasal secretion turn into thick, from time to time making breathing extra difficult all through the day plus this can cause snoring at night.

Using Dot silicone gel or toical retinoid cream (Retin A cream) is good to remove this pores. You can also go for masks. Pappaya masks are good for this. You can use this twice weekly. Also avoid sun exposure on face or use sunscreen. Taking vitamin E and C supplements , drinking more plain water also helps in regeneration of skin faster.

1. Protein is the key for the muscle building. Without adequate protein, muscle gain and growth is not possible because weight training demands for amino acids (which comes from protein). You should daily eat about 2.2g of protein per kilogram of your weight. For example, if you are 50kg, then you should eat 50x2.2=111g of protein spread over 5-6 meals in the day. Include high protein foods in your diet. Your protein intake should be from foods rather than from supplements. Good protein foods: beans, soybeans, whey, fish, dairy products (low fat variety), meats, nuts and seeds (almonds, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds), peanut butter. Many of these are easy digestible foods. Milk is one of the best muscle foods. The milk contains two high quality proteins, about 80 percent whey and 20 percent casein. Whey is quickly broken down into amino acids and absorbed into the bloodstream. Whey is very good to consume after workout. Casein is digested more slowly and provides the body with a steady supply of protein for a longer period of time. Cheese is concentrated milk, so it is high in protein and calcium, fat and cholesterol. Include healthy skim yogurt in your diet, which can give you as much as 120 calories.----------- 2. Eat custard apple (saripa, sitaphal) to put on some weight. This fruit is high in calorie.------------- 3. Healthy fats: avoid fatty foods. Most mothers, especially in india give too much ghee or butter to their children, thinking they will put flesh fast. But ghee is mostly saturated fat which is not a healthy fat for any body. Healthy fats are monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats and omega-3 fatty acids. Good fats: cold pressed oils (olive, sunflower, linseed, canola).---------- 4. Drink pure fruit juice. It is full of sugar and added nutrients so it is a healthy and nutritious way to gain some pounds.----------- 5. Complex carbohydrates are also needed for gaining weight. Corn bread is also full of carbohydrates, one piece gives approximately 328 calories. Potatoes are rich sources of carbohydrates and complex sugars, eat baked or as grilled potatoes. Pasta is a calorie rich cereal carbohydrates.----------- 6. Eat bananas. These are rich in carbs and nutritious, one banana contains approximately 100 calories.---------- 7. Some people think that drinking beer helps, but it is not true, it accumulates in your abdomen, making it fatty.---------- 8. Don't take protein supplements for gaining muscles. ------------------------ 9. Non vegetarian foods--------- some of the non-vegetarian foods that help increase weight are given below:---- 1. Red meat ------ 2. Pork, ------ 3. Fish: eat two portions of salmon, or tuna every day.------- 4. Shrimps: the nutrients and necessary acid content present in shrimps gives healthy calories.- 5. Chicken breast chicken breast, is supposed to be the healthiest and non-fat part which has approximately 78 calories for each serving.-------- whole eggs: eggs are loaded with protein, vitamins a, d and e.--- 10. Last but not the least, control your masturbation habit if you have any to 1-2 per week as overindulgence in masturbation, porn, smoking, alcohol and drugs also leads to muscle wasting-------------

You are passing through stress which is bad for heart. Without being preachy, I suggest you turn stress into an opportunity to hope for good results which will work like good cholesterol to help the heart. Get investigation done for heart like ecg and halter tests plus blood pressure and blood tests done for sugar and lipids. Regarding lack of sleep, do not take any medicines, depend upon foods like milks and curds that help get sleep besides giving get basic proteins. Get back here with reports. I am teacher. I fill sometimes back pain such as waist. Please suggest me what I will be done?
Hello. Maintain a right standing and sitting posture, keep your back always straight, avoid carrying weight on back. Hold or carry weight divided equally in both the hands or shoulders (to avoid over straining on one particular hand or shoulder). (Excessive sitting or standing is to be avoided as well don’t carry much weight on shoulders). Exercise: Practice Shavasana or Corpse Pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: Spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Begin focusing each body part and relaxing it, then moving on. Keep the mind focused on relaxation, the breath should be normal. Relax the whole body. Management: -Stretching or activities that place additional strain on the back are discouraged. -Sleeping with a pillow between the knees while lying on one side may increase comfort. -Lying on your back with a pillow under your knees would also relieves pain and no pillow under your head. -Some people seem to benefit from the use of ice or heat. Take care, do not use a heating pad on ‘high’ or place ice directly on the skin. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. Get back to me thereafter.

Hello lybrate-user, this kind of excess weight (119 kg) is breeding ground for many diseases (blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, certain kind of cancers, arthritis etc), which can affect the quality of your life ahead. It is possible that your skin condition is also due to underlying hormonal abnormality which is at root of your excess weight. It may be a good idea to consult a skin specialist as well as an endocrinologist. This is a lifestyle related issue and it can be surely treated with intensive lifestyle modification program. Most people who are fat are made to feel that it is because you lack will power, you are lethargic and a weak person. But that is definitely not true. It is your your hormones which have made you fat and keeping you fat. Unless we make correct diagnosis and and create a diet and lifestyle plan to correct that hormonal abnormalities you will not be able to lose weight for long term. Most diet fails because they are low calorie and low fat. Instead of correcting metabolism, they make you feel low energy or makes you feel excessively hungry. Calorie counting is useless. If you want to count, count nutritional value of food in terms of protein, fiber, good fat etc. I am sure you did not gain this much weight suddenly but over a period of time. To achieve weightloss - think long term. Weight loss achieved over short term, always comes back. Try this general approach (see below) for 4 weeks. If this works then continue. If you have tried this in past or if it does not work, then approach us for weightloss package of 6 months by lifestyle modification. 1. Do not eat anything sugary or sweet. Zero sweetness in diet. 2. Eat plenty of salad in lunch and dinner along with other foods. 3. Do not drink any liquid calorie like cola or fruit juices. 4. Brisk walks or jogging for 45 - 60 minutes every day. My best wishes.

If it is central abdomen pain just above the public bone, lasting few hours only on the first day, then it mat be quite normal. It is due to spasm of uterus muscle as it begins to expel. Use hot water bag, avoid spiced foods, non-veg, oily foods and if required an antispasmodic tablet can be useful. Any pain which is more than described above will need a visit to the doctor.
