To prevent hair loss follow these instructions: • Do not take stress and take proper sleep of 6 - 7 hours. Do meditation or long breathing pranayams for 10 minutes daily to destress yourself. • You can apply amla powder, Make the paste of amla powder with water and apply it for 15 minutes once in week in afternoon and rinse it. • Do sarvangasan daily for 5 minutes do it under the supervision of yoga expert. • Avoid use of excess hair products such as hair colours and try to use mild shampoo. • Add protein containing items in your foods such as take a bowl of cereal daily, and a glass of milk also. • Eat healthy fruits and green leafy vegetables daily. • you can use Mahabhringraj oil of Baidyanath company and apply it 3 times in a week massage your scalp for 10 to 15 minutes daily. You can massage daily with oil it increase blood circulation and enhance hair growth. •In a bowl, mix two eggs, honey and some coconut oil. You can also use olive oil instead of coconut oil. Apply it on your scalp and leave it for 20 minutes, then rinse with a mild shampoo.

Hello lybrate-user, yes ayurved can you help. First you note for when you get allergy. Avoid sour food. Take 1/2 teaspoon turmeric (haldi), 1/2 teaspoon celery seeds (ajmoda) and 1 teaspoon jaggery 2 times a day. U can easily take an online consultation for further treatment and guidance for permanent.

I am 20 years old I have a problem of bleeding while doing potty. I have taken many tablets but m not satisfy. So what should now I do.

Mr. Lybrate-user, if its painful too, you have a fissure, for which you have to take laxatives, take lot green leafy vegetables & sit in atub of warm water for a period 15min, 3 times in aday for aweek. If your bleeding without pain, kindly visit a surgeon to rule out piles.

Dear Sir/Madam, I had suffered from hepatitis ‘E’ along with leptospirosis infection in the year 2011. Post recovery I was feeling very weak along-with very much weakness in the body. As the passing of the time I usually felt good and my weight has also been increased. Doctor told to make to take everything in the diet. But from the last 3-4 years I am experiencing lots of changes in my body like poor digestion, excessive gas, bloating, indigestion, loose stool with mucus, 5-6 times visiting the toilet, fatigue,lethargy, weakness in the body, irritability,fear, nervousness,easily stressed out. Not able to get sound sleep at nights. I got a very weak immune system also. Visited lots of doctors here in Mumbai. Some doctors says I got physiological problems. Some says I have gastritis, some says I have IBS, some says that I must be having amoebiasis or H.Pylori infections. Some says that there is inflammation in the intestines and my intestines are weak. I am not getting proper solution to my problem. At times I am feeling very much depressed. I do not know what to do. I am feeling hopeless. I do not know what had happened to my body. Nobody able to properly diagnose the problem which I am having. I do not have any bad habits. I do not smoke, drink etc. But still I am so much problem in my body. Further, below are the test performed in order to rule out. OGD SCOPY + is can + biopsy PERFORMED OGD Scopy was considered to evaluate exact etiology of patients symptoms of Upper G.I.Tract. OGD Scopy revealed mild lax cardia with frank reflux. Stomach showed erosive gastritis with atrophic antral mucosa. Erosions were seen in the fundus and antrum. Chronic duodenitis was seen in the duodenal bulb and proximal duodenum. Biopsy was taken from antrum for H.Pylori. Comments: Endoscopic findings are suggestive of mild GERD with erosive gastritis with atrophic antral mucosa and chronic duodenitis. Patient will require dietary and lifestyle modifications apart from supportive medication for the same. Patient will require clinical follow up after 1 month. Biopsy confirmed for H.Pylori. ILEO-COLONOSCOPY+ is can+POLYPECTOMY PERFORMED Ileo-Colonoscopy was considered to evaluate exact etiology for patients complaints of 3-4 semi solids with blood streak stools. Adequate bowel preparation was done. Scope was passed up to terminal ileum, which essentially appeared normal. Multiple biopsies were taken from colon and sent for HPE. Left sided colon appeared spastic. Erosive proctitis was seen in rectum. 2 polyps were noted on the stapled line on previously done hemorrhoidectomy which was sent for histopathology. Comments: Ileo-colonoscopy findings are suggestive of irritable spastic left bowel with erosive proctitis and 2 polyps at the stapled line which can explain patients symptoms of blood streak stools. Biopsy material may provide additional information for further management. Patient will require reassurance apart from supportive medical care. Patient will require clinical follow up after 1 month. HISTOLOGY REPORT Specimen:1.Biopsies from the colon 2. Polyp from the rectum Gross:1. Three tiny bits aggregate to 0.4 cm. 2. Few polypoid grayish bits aggregate to 0.4 cm. Microscopic: 1. The colonic mucosa reveals orderly tubules. The lamina propria contains a mononuclear inflammatory infiltrate admixed with eosinophil and a focal lymphoid aggregate. 2. The polypoid bits are focally covered by a colonic mucosa. The lamina propria shows congested blood vessels and a moderate mononuclear inflammatory infiltrate admixed with neutrophil few eosinophil. No adenomatous change is seen. There is no evidence of dysplasia or malignancy. Diagnosis.1. COLON – MILD colitis 2. RECTUM – INFLAMMATORY POLYP.

There is no single diet chart for everyone. To plan a specific diet we do collect lot of information like height, weight, food frequency, digestive history, medical history, likes, dislike, lifestyle, eating habits. Remember one thing to follow a diet it should be personalized according to person's body type and not generalized. Starting with there is no pills or powder or shake which can help you to lose weight in a healthy way. To lose weight eat an hour within walking up and dinner at least 2 hours before you sleep. Avoiding eating anything after dinner. Breakfast should be your king size have good complex carbohydrates and protein rich. Eat every 2 hours small frequent meal do help in weight loss. And do not overeat. One can come to ideal body weight with few lifestyle modification. Have green tea only 2 cups a day. For exercise I would say diet plays 80 % role and exercise plays 20 % role in losing weight. Personal advise on gym. You should not make your body habituated with machines rather do simple walk or surya namaskar or planks. So only with healthy eating one can lose weight.

I am a diabetic for 24 years. Last 4 months I am taking 10 units of insulin in the morning. Around 12noon to 1 pm I am feeling uncomfortable with sweating and weakness and feeling terribly hungry. My fasting blood sugar is about 105 and pp is about 155. Please advise what I should do?

Don’t worry. You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. As soon as you start seeing the results, you will be surprised as well as motivated to go beyond your weight loss and adopt and a lifelong healthy attitude. For a start please follow: 1.Watch what you eat – Are you eating too much junk, drink excessive alcohol and eating too much white food and sugar? Please cut it down to as low as you can from tomorrow. Cut down tea/coffee if you are too addicted to it. It is creating havoc inside your body. 2.Lifestyle – Are you a late sleeper and late riser? You can’t imagine what this schedule of yours is doing to your metabolism. It is degrading your digestive system from inside and your looks from outside. 3.Physically active – If you are a couch potato who loves to watch tv whole day then throw that couch of yours in the street and get yourself a treadmill tomorrow. Yes it is as simple as that. Who is stopping you? You have to be physically active all day long if you want to burn those extra calories. Do daily brisk walk, Pranayam, atleast 20 surayanamaskar everyday to start seeing the results. Take break between office work to walk a little or rather just climb some stairs to get that food you ate in lunch have space and heat to digest and absorb. What’s the harm in using your washroom to do a little middle of the day squats. Do that – No one is watching you. The key is to stay physically active all day long, no matter what. 4.Eat healthy and eat on time: Not only eating healthy is important but eating at right time is equally imp too. Have an early breakfast and early dinner and have 4 small meals between breakfast and dinner. To guide you a bit, here you go: A.Breakfast (Between 8-10 a. M) – Have oats/porridge or brown bread with milk and nuts. B.At 11 a. M - Cup of Green Tea c.Mid day meal (around 12 p. M) – Have a bowl of fruits. Citrus fruits are best taken during this hour and absorb well in the body. Have oranges, amla, pineapple etc during this hour. D.Lunch (between 2-3 p. M) – Daal, roti, mix veg, buttermilk and salad. You can also take brown rice with daal in lunch. Try to get your food cooked in olive oil. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E.Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F.Evening (4-6 p. M) – Have some nice sprouts with tomatoes and cucumber. G.Dinner (2 hours before sleeping, preferably before 9 p. M) – Paneer & veggies salad with olive oil, Roti or brown rice with Daal. H.Have a glass of warm milk. Weight loss is 80% about what you eat and 20% about exercises. That said, both the things go hand in hand. If you want to lose weight in a more healthy way than be patient and just follow the regimen everyday. Slow and steady wins the race.

I have angle pain with shooting pain to last 3 fingers. I had cortisone tablets for 5 days for this pain. Doctor told it is peroneal tendonitis. But the pain is not subsiding. What should I do next. I also have aching pain for legs. I have cervical spondylitis, disc problem with shooting pain to the same leg. But MRI shows the angle pain not related to these problems .pls give me a reply.
