I have pcos. But without any medication I recover from it by weight loss diet. I have no symptom of it even when it was detected not even now. My hormonal levels are normal. Periods are normal. My que is is still there are chances of infertility or to worry about?

If your menses are regular and you have been ovulating regularly then infertility due to ovarian causes is unlikely.

Hi Doctor I am 26 (2016) years old and trying to conceive. I was diagnosed with PCOD in 2009 and was given Krimson 35 for three months I got my periods regularly but had many side effects stopped medication and practiced yoga diet and had regular periods. I got married in 2013 and from oct 2014 trying for baby. We used only withdrawal method for pregnancy during early days no medicationThen I started trying to get pregnant in oct 2014 and after three months jan 2015 went to doctor and took test ultrasound and all. All test came normal and I had cyst only in right ovaries. Doc asked me to take duphaston 10mg from 24th day of the cycle and have contact from 14-24 by I miss understood and took duphaston from 14-24 for four cycles. I went o doc again she asked to stop all medicines as you took it in wrong dates it would have confused hormones. Doc said you try for one year reduce weight (i am 150 cm 54 kgs) diet and come after a year. She told take folic and glycomet tried for four monthly cycles were irregular 36 day 39 days like thatThen my husband went to onsite from sep 2015 - dec 2015i did not take any medicine then. My periods were irregular then also. Since he came back on dec I went to doc she agin told have duphaston for 2 cycle (from 24th day for 1 week) and come. I had for one cycle got my periods thought from jan 2016 I will try for 6 months with folic acid alone and then go to doc. Jan 11 was start date of the cycle now it is feb 26, it is 47 days of the cycle. No periods negative test. I had single drop of blood on 31 and 32 days fo this cycle I am doing yoga for 1 hour daily and gym for 30 mins. My questions are1. Can I still be pregnant? 2. What could be reason for this confusion3. I stopped taking glycomet 850 and had only folic acid could that cause this delayed periods? 4. What are the next steps I should do5. How long does duphaston tablet have effects in our body. Will no taking that cause delayed periods.

For now there are possibilities of hormonal imbalance, cyst or pregnancy. to find out exactly get Beta HCG test and ultrasound lower abdomen done. then consult with the reports.

Blood came in both male and female after intercourse. Then any problem for sex. If so then how many days should wait for intercourse with each other. And it pains still in male.

No need to wait, continue with sex if pain is not severe. Otherwise wait till pain is less or little.

Rhinoscleroma - Signs You Are Suffering From It!

Our lives are surrounded by germs and organisms that can affect human bodies in the most adverse ways possible. It is seen that a lot of diseases attack us when we either touch something that is contaminated or consume something that contains the germs, such as food or water. While it may be common to catch diseases and suffer from illnesses because of food or water, another way of catching a disease is by way of inhaling the germs. In such cases, the nose and the respiratory system get most affected and this is something that even causes serious issues such as Rhinoscleroma.

Rhinoscleroma is mainly a nasal disease and affects the nose in most cases, but in a lot of cases, the disease also spread to other respiratory organs and causes much more havoc in the body. The disease is caused due to a bacterial infection. When the bacteria comes in contact with the nasal passage or gets inhaled, the person may fall prey to the condition. The disease leads to obstruction in breathing and may need to be treated immediately. Though the disease in itself is not fatal, but some of the symptoms of the disease may cause great problems and may lead to fatal consequences.

The symptoms of rhinoscleroma:
In order to be able to fight the problem of Rhinoscleroma and to be able to attain a quick diagnosis, it may be important to know the basic symptoms of the disease. If you are aware of the symptoms, you may be able to see a dermatologist with greater urgency and the disease can be brought under control in a more effective manner. The following are some of the symptoms of the nasal and respiratory disease:

  1. You may see granulomatous growth in the nasal cavity or immediately around the nose; these are small swellings that are made up of immune cells.
  2. The disease may also be symptomized by nose bleeds in a lot of people.
  3. A feeling of obstruction may be common in the people that develop Rhinoscleroma.
  4. There may be instances where patients may also suffer from loss of sense of smell.
  5. The soft palate that is present at the back of the roof of the mouth hardens in a number of patients who suffer from Rhinoscleroma.
  6. Some patients also complain of developing a hoarse voice as a result of the infection.

Treatment:
Rhinoscleroma is known to be a hindrance in regular life and as soon as some symptoms or the disease are recognized, you should make sure to check with your dermatologist. The expert in the dermatology may suggest you to go through a course of oral medications. While in some cases, patients may have to undergo a surgery. In any case, a proper diagnosis should be carried out so that an effective treatment may be taken. In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

Hi. I have had itching in my penis head from the last two months. Sometimes the itching is very severe that I keep on squeezing the penis head. Its only in the head region mainly where the skin folds on the head. Now there is another problem. I had sex with my wife and she had severe itching on her vagina. Next day her vaginal lips were swollen and she couldn't even walk properly. We went to her gynae and she examined her and gave her some anti fungal medicines and a cream. She was fine after that. Also my itching was gone somehow. We again had sex after like 15 days and again she had the same problem. We went to the gynae again and she gave her medicines for herpes and a cream. She was again fine after 4-5 days. Then we again had sex after few days and oh my god again the same issue with her. We went to her gynae and she again gave her some medicines and this time I also went along with her and asked why it is happening again and again? She said it is some yeast infection and this time she prescribed me couple of medicines and a cream called Nadoxin to apply. Also we underwent some tests for HIV, HCL, Hepatitis, Blood Sugar etc. And our tests were normal. This issue of itching started after I made sexual contact with another women. It was unprotected sex. The itching on my penis started the very next day. And I am 99% sure that it is because of that. But I do not know what to do. Who to consult? And what tests I need to undergo? And if it is a Sexually transmitted disease or just a common bacterial or yeast infection? I do not have that much itching now but whenever I have sex with my wife her vagina lips swell. The whole area is red. She has severe itching. Some white fluid discharge is also there. please help. Suggest.

Ipill is an emergency contraceptive pill, meaning that it has to be used in circumstances when your other contraceptive measure is likely to fail (rupture of condom/ missed pills) or when there is unprotected intercourse. It should not be used as a regular contraceptive. It can be taken within 72 Hours of unprotected intercourse, but efficacy Is highest when taken soon after act.

Hello, Give her nonstick lighter meals to eat like vegetables khichadi, porridges, curd rice etc that will help her. Ask her to drink plenty of water and limit tea and coffee consumption. Fruits like apples and banana also help to combat heartburn.
