I am a pre diabetic as per my HBA1C done thrice in one year it was 6, 6.1 and 5.9 What should I do? I do not eat much sugar but I love sweets when I am stressful. I am teetotaler. Pastries and sweet beverages makes me feel good and energized even though I control the intake. How to control it? My parents are diabetic too. So may be that could be the reason for me to might have diabetes in future. Any suggestion is valuable.

Try to bring in discipline in your daily routine and stick to the plan. It's just the beginning of knowing yourself better so that you can train yourself how to behave when such situations happen again. Please do not be hasty and improve each aspect of your personality slowly with patience. Learn Yoga which is holistic in its nature and integrates the mind and body and help you stay healthy and confident. When you give priority to health then it would not be a burden to follow healthy rules. You need to appreciate your small improvements also rather than only blame yourself for every small shortcomings. Try to relax your mind and body by adapting Yoga ( which if done consistently will help you avoid daibetes and other health problems in future ).

Hello, as you are suffering from psoriasis, psoriasis is genetic disorder triggered due to stressful conditions and irregular life style. Psoriasis is a manageable disease, generally patient use steroidal application on patches which give temporary relief and disease reappear after 2/3 days. In severe cases methotrexate is used which is not a safer option and is liver toxic. Ayurvedic external application give very quick results with sun exposure in clearing the scales and internal treatment does not allow the disease to re appear. You should use 3 gms of haldi with milk helps in psoriasis patients. Red meat, alcohol n stress should be avoided in psoriasis.

Have physical activity in the day like morning/evening walk. Practice yoga or breathing exercises for getting proper sleep. Donot watch tv after 7 pm and go to bed by 9.30 - 10 pm. For leg pains when ever you sit in the house, sit cross legged. That will make the calf muscles to relax avoiding the pain. Take nutritious food for getting vitamins and calcium like milk, curd, panner, cheese, green leafy vegetables. Mushroom, cabbage etc.

Hii. You maybe having Migraine symptoms again. you need to take proper treatment for that. Right now take some pain killers. but consult for treatment of migraine.. Avoid triggers for migraine like bright light or loud sound,don't take stress have good sleep

Write latest blood sugar f/pp, lipid profile and hba1c with details of medicine you r taking on private chat for proper assessment in the men time do 1. No alcohol 2. Reduce body wt 3. No smoking/ tobacco 4. Diet - no ghee/ butter, have mix of vegetable oils - mustard, til, ground nut, olive oil, have more green vegetables and fruits, have whole grain atta, no fried. Fast. Spicy / processed/ junk food. Less sugar, potato, rice 5.30 mts brisk walk daily 6. Deep breathing exercise for 10 mts daily 7. Meditation daily for 10 mts. 6-8 hrs of sleep at night 8. You should take a normal healthy diet of rice rotis veggies dal and fish. You should avoid refined sugars like chocolates sweets sandesh rosogollas sugar in tea or milk. Please get in touch with a dietician /endocrinologist.

Dear lybrate user, masturbation should not be done for more than twice in a week. Sperm cells are being continuously produced inside human testis. A single sperm cell needs about 4 months to mature before being ejaculated. Masturbating ejaculates many mature as well as immature sperm & results in the temporary deficit of sperm count. This loss of sperm results in the increased production of sperm. A sperm is mainly made up of protein. An increased production of sperm count needs a steady supply of protein. This supply of protein is met from the amount of protein we intake daily. Over masturbation increases the rate of production of sperm to such extent that the demand for protein cannot be fulfilled naturally & it often results in breakdown of protein from muscle tissues. This breakdown of muscle tissues is externally manifested as fatigue, weakness etc. Addiction to masturbation denotes that you are continuously indulged in sexual thoughts. This type of thoughts is common in people who live a sedentary life. If you really have a sedentary life-style you should get yourself out from it immediately. Socialize yourself. Do some physical exercise daily. Drink a lots of water. Create a routine of your daily schedule & maintain it.
