you are having morning slickness which is common in early pregnancy you should see that you are having proper nutrition a and take lot of water by mouth to avoid dehydration and anemia it will indirectly affect the new born.

So taking a pregnancy test after say even five days of having unprotected sex might not help. However, this greatly depends on the sensitivity of your home pregnancy test kit. Some kits can detect pregnancy as early as seven days after conception or four days before your period were supposed to start. We have all seen the commercials that say you can get an accurate result at 4, 5, or even six days before your period is due but this is simply false advertising. These tests are looking for the presence of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) that is produced as the placenta forms and grows, after the fertilized egg has implanted. To make sure you are not wasting money on a test, it is not advised to test until at least one day after your regular period would start, but for optimal results, you should wait at least seven to ten days after the day your monthly cycle normally begins. A test taken any time after seven days should be accurate, as long as it is not expired.

midcycle is most fertile period. means the middle week.means 14 th day after starting. of periods. 2 days before and after day 14 of cycle. learn to relax and do some exercises to keep mind away from getting pregnant. leading a normal and stress free life helps

Hi lybrate-user, you have not mentioned your marital status. You would need a thorough evaluation for which a few tests including a sonography are required to be done. If you are keen to pursue pls let me know so that I can guide you accordingly. Most probably you may be having some hormonal disturbance which can be easily tackled.

No the girl cannot regenerate her hymen. If hymen is intact the girl will bleed with first intercourse. There r lots of reasons for hymen to break without intercourse eg rigourous exercise, cycling and masturbation.

Life is surely challenging for pregnant women who are working too. Pregnancy is a time when your body does not obey you and when you have to obey commands from other quarters, it becomes a bit tricky. But remember that pregnancy is not a disease and you can very much have a normal life and do well in office if you follow these simple tips.

1. Manage your stress level. It is but natural to have some or the other kind of stress at every work place. But you are in a beautiful phase of your life, so banish all negative thoughts and think of the little one who is growing inside you.

2. Carry your food and snacks as it is not advisable to eat out since your immune system becomes very weak during pregnancy and you are more likely to catch an infection.

3. Small breaks are a must. Take short walks; try deep breathing and east something every 2 hours.

4. Consciously sit straight. It is very important to maintain a healthy sitting posture so be very careful about it. If you suffer from swelling in legs, try a foot-rest to elevate your feet.{mosimage}

5. Avoid stairs. You don't need any strenuous exercise at this stage so it is better that you use a lift as there is no point tiring yourself unnecessarily.

6. No coffee, no cigarettes as a rule of thumb. Caffeine and nicotine are dangerous for your baby so stay away from them howsoever hard the temptation may be.

7. Don't try being a superwoman. That you are pregnant and still managing with your work is great. But you must understand that your body is weak and it needs rest. You must take rest at intervals and try not to overdo to prove yourself.

8. No bumpy rides please. You are in a delicate stage of health and your little one does not like to be juggled a lot. Moreover, it might turn harmful for the baby.

9. Drink a lot. But only water and fresh juices! no hard drinks please. Remain hydrated to avoid crams and bouts of nausea. It also helps in flatulence.

10. Keep emergency number on your desk and in your bag as a precautionary

Changing something as important as your cholesterol might seem an insurmountable task. Here nutritionist guy gives seven day-by-day tips to help you on your way.

Monday - Increase your fruit and veggie intake. They are rich in important nutrients, low in saturated fats and are cholesterol-free. They are also rich in fibre, which has a cholesterol-lowering effect. Aim to have at least five serves a day, and to eat a variety of different coloured fruits and veggies each day.

Tuesday - Reduce your intake of unhealthy fats. Saturated and trans fats raise blood cholesterol levels. Trans fats are the worst, so limit your intake of processed and fast foods. Choose low-fat dairy products, healthy oils such as olive oil, and flaxseed oil instead of butter. Trim fat from meat and skin from poultry.

Wednesday - Cook with olive oil, a source of healthy monounsaturated fats. It has a higher oxidation threshold than most monounsaturated oils and remains stable at higher temperatures, so is more resistant to hydrogenation and the formation of trans fats. Monounsaturated fats help to lower total cholesterol levels.

Thursday - Eat more garlic. Studies show that, as part of a low-fat diet, it can help reduce cholesterol levels - lowering levels of" bad" LDL cholesterol and raising 'good' HDL cholesterol. It also helps to thin the blood, which helps reduce the risk of heart attacks. Studies show countries that eat more garlic have lower rates of heart disease.

Friday - Eat more legumes. Legumes such as chickpeas, lentils, beans, and peas are good for people with high cholesterol levels. They are low in fat and rich in nutrients such as b vitamins, iron, and unsaturated fats. They are also a rich source of soluble fibre, which helps to lower cholesterol levels.

Saturday - Eat oatmeal for breakfast. Whole oats are packed with heart-healthy dietary fibre and nutrients such as b vitamins, vitamin E, and iron. Oats are an excellent source of soluble fibre, which lowers cholesterol and reduces the risk of heart disease. Choose fibre-rich whole oats over quick oats.

Sunday - Snack on nuts. They are rich in unsaturated fats. Choose nuts that are higher in unsaturated (mono and poly) fats and lower in saturated fats. These include almonds, walnuts, pecans, hazelnuts, and pistachios. Try making up a trail mix with your favourite raw, unsalted nuts, dried fruit and a mix of seeds.

Black cohosh has commonly been used to treat symptoms of menopause, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), painful menstruation, acne, weakened bones (osteoporosis), and for starting labor in pregnant women. Black cohosh has also been tried for a lot of additional uses, such as anxiety, rheumatism, fever, sore throat, and cough, but it is not often used for these purposes these days.Black cohosh root also seems to have some effects similar to the female hormone, estrogen. In some parts of the body, black cohosh might increase the effects of estrogen. In other parts of the body, black cohosh might decrease the effects of estrogen. Estrogen itself has various effects in different parts of the body. Estrogen also has different effects in people at different stages of life.
