How could I get back as I was ?
1. Do warm saline gurgling 3-4 times daily 2. Take viscodyne d syrup 2tsf thrice daily if it is a dry cough or viscodyne syrup if cough is associated with sputum 3. You may have to take antibiotic along with it after consulting doctor, if no relief4. Avoid smoking if you smoke.

Do make a move whenever possible even for short interval as possible do keep moving your body frequently expecially the limbs even while sitting without affecting body axis do learn stretching and strengthening exercises from neuro physiotherapist

I am 25 years old I have back pain last 3 weeks, I used ointment but not effective on my body, what should I do now.
Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Dear you can follow these methods for relief from backache (back pain): * first correct your sitting posture. Do not bend your lower back. You can use lumber belt for support. * do regular back strength exercises. Move your clockwise and anticlock wise. * do not sleep on very soft bed, sleep on slight hard cotton mattress. * do tadasana and bhjangasana for back strengthening. If you can not understand these asans you can consult me. * take calcium rich diet and calcium and vitamin d supplements regularly. *do not take any heavy weight or heavy work. * if you are over weight then follow a good and effective diet plan to loose some kilos of weight. I'm a 22 year old girl, I tried strangulating myself when I was depressed as an attempt to kill myself two months ago. I used a charger cord. Tried a couple of times, gave up when I was about to pass out. Then I had neck pain for weeks, now I have lower back pain with my left leg pain. I looked up the internet it said scatia, (can be due to nerve damage). I'm not willing to tell parents about this. Can you help?

That is deficiency of supplements so tk this and for leg pain do tens therapy and ultrasonic therapy after relief do strength exercise in gradually process like cycling, treadmill ya cross trainer ok best for you.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Ankle stretching. Ankle strengthening exercises. Avoid squatting. Quadriceps exercises. Core strenthening exercises. Stretch calves get a custom made insole. Hams stretching. Sports taping. Hot fomentation.

Do take postoral and spinal extension exercise from physiotherapist apply hot and cold water fomentation for thrice a day for 7 days regularly do revert for further assistance best wishes.

Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

I had lot of pain in my neck for so many years. I got my Vitamin D checked and it showed only 3.2 against minimum level of 20 ng/ml. So please advise me what precautions should I take?

1. Your vitamin d level is very low. Follow the advice given below 2. Take milk, cheese, egg yolk, fish (salmon/mackerel/ trout/sardines/tuna) cod liver oil, mushroom, cereals, orange juice. They are good source of vitamin d. 3.15-20 minute exposure to sun light in morning 4. You have to take vitamin d supplement after consulting physician.

Lybrate-user ji you hv not mentioned your age. Bt looking to your height your weight is ok not more so you do not need to reduce your weight. Bt you can take some precaution like do not use stairs as far as possible. Do not bend you knee more than 90 degree means do not squate. Use western toilet instead of indian toilet. While taking lunch dinner or breakfast use dinning table nd do not sit on floor. Nd yes if you can join a gym or go to a physiotherapist he wil guide you some exercise which wil strength your quadriceps muscle.
