For that you have to plan an exercise regime. Please ensure that you burn calories as you consume (so also keep a check on your calorie intake ). Read more from the internet about healthy lifestyle and maintain a good balance. You need not eliminate rice but take it in moderation. A dietician can help you choose your diet options based on your calorie needs and activity levels.

What should a blood pressure patient do to keep healthy and how to improve stamina. How to keep heart safe and strong.
You are taking the right and safe medicine for BP, I hope it is stabalised , This medicine is protective for the heart also and sometimes low doses are given to people with normal BP but having stressful jobs. Take less salt and avoid foods like chutneys, pickles ,papads etc where salt is added as a preservative. Take more potassium present in fruits like oranges ,bananas etc. Go for simple walks as best exercise and meditation. Eat seasonal fresh fruits & vegetables and do take a spoon of honey along with lemon juice in a glass of warm water ,every morning on empty stomach.

Dietary advice to loose weight:

To loose weight one has to persist with a drastic reduction in the intake of carbohydrates, (specially refined sugars) and fats, increase the intake of proteins and increase the expenditure of energy by regular exercise.

Starving ones self does not work for any length of time and three meals at regular times, eaten slowly is the best method. Avoid snacking between meals, have a good breakfast, moderate lunch and a light dinner.

The foods to avoid are sugars, or anything that contains sugar and fat such as bakery products, ice creams, desserts, fried foods (like pranthe, pakore, puris) pizza and potatoes. Rice can be replaced with two chapattis made of multi grain atta.

To fill your stomach one should take lots of fruits (papaya, apples, guava) and green vegetables (cucumber, ghia, laoki, teenda, and tori) and sprouted dal. Milk should be double toned.

Your protein intake should be increased by taking egg white, grilled / steamed fish or chicken made in small amounts of olive / sunflower oil. Vegetarians can use soya bean dal, nutri nuggets and cottage cheese made from double tone milk.

Tips On How To Lose Weight By Following A Healthy Diet

Hello, I am Deepika Kohli. I am a senior nutritionist working with British biological. I have seventeen years of experience as a nutritionist. I have started my career with AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) with a WHO project after that I was working with Jeevan Harman hospital as a chief dietician and worked with Pfizer also as diabetes educator, worked with Abbot also as a nutrition advisor, presently with British biological and working as a weight loss consultant with Life cure and Jeevan Harman hospital as well.

I help my patients to lose weight like post pregnancy, I help my patients to lose weight.

Patients with PCOS problems come to me to lose their weight. So I help my patients, initially like for example they lose five kegs in five weeks. So I give them diet plan weekly. Weekly my patients lose one to one and a half kg with my diet. My diet is just your kitchen based diet like small restrictions like just to avoid bakery products, avoid sweets and have small frequent meals which include pulses, legumes, fresh fruits, boiled vegetables and avoiding the Maida based preparations, processed food. I tell my patients to avoid processed food. So it is very easy to follow things which will give a very good result.

So if you want consultations with me you can contact me on Lybrate. You can fix an appointment with me online and offline as well on Lybrate.

Eggs for diabetics, how many eggs can take in one day, If it is good for diabetics.

Eggs for diabetics, how many eggs can take in one day, If it is good for diabetics.
Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Eggs are a good source of protein for every one, that is those who like to take. For a diabetic person also they are good. You may take 2 to 3 eggs per day. Again the requirement depends on any special workout if one does, because protein need may be more. Thanks.

How can I increase my body weight I am 19 years old but my weight is 41. Please give me a solution.
Eating three meals a day, no matter what?s in them, isn't going to help you bulk up.Your body burns calories fast, so you need to feed it more than it can use up right away. That means eating not just when you're hungry, but throughout the day. Aim to eat five meals a day to gain weight. Make sure you drink plenty of water. Water will help your body process the extra protein and calories you?re taking in. Drink several glasses with every meal to avoid getting dehydrated. Since you?re probably also going to be exercising more to gain mass, aim to drink 10 glasses of water every day. ? You can also drink unsweetened tea, fruit juice, and other healthy beverages. ? Avoid drinking Gatorade and other sports drinks in excessive amounts, since they contain a lot of sugar. Focus on protein, fats and carbohydrates. These are the three staples that will help you gain weight, and you need plenty of each of them to stay healthy. Focus on incorporating protein, fats and carbohydrates into every meal you eat so your diet stays balanced. Here are some examples of good choices in each category: ? Proteins: eggs, salmon, tuna, and other fish;, and ham; chicken breasts and thighs; lean and steaks. ? Fats: olive oil, safflower oil, coconut oil, and grapeseed oil; avocados, walnuts, almonds, flaxseeds. ? Carbohydrates: fruits and vegetables; beans, lentils, peas; brown rice, whole grain bread, whole grain pasta and other whole grain products; honey and fruit juice. For further assistance you can concern me privately.

Dear, the most common causes of weakness are * anemia * metabolic disorder (diabetes, hypothyroidism) * breathing problems (asthma, sinusitis) *digestion problems (diarrhea, gestric ulcers) * cervical spondylosis first check out your haemoglobin (hb), if your hb is low, then eat a lot of green vehetables and iron rich foods like apple, guava, sapotas (cheeku, beet root and oranges. Takeiron suppliments for increase in hb. If your hb level is normal then your all parts of body get adequate level of oxygen. 2. Take deep breaths atleast for 10-15 minutes twice a day. 3. Check out the blood sugar fasting in every 6 months. If blood sugar level, then take proper medicines for high sugar level. 4. In thyroid disorder, there is a feeling of weakness and tiredness. Check out your thyroid profile, if you feel tired even after the proper deit and medicines and take treatment. 5. In the morning, do medication regulary, do pranayam atleast for 5 -10 minute. Blocked Fallopian Tubes - 6 Associated Symptoms

MBBS, DGO, DNB - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Gynaecologist, Delhi
Blocked Fallopian Tubes - 6 Associated Symptoms

Blockage in the Fallopian tubes accounts for 40% of infertility in women, which is called Tubal Factor Infertility. Fallopian tubes are two thin tubes on each side of the uterus that aid the movement of mature eggs from the two ovaries to the uterus. Any kind of blockage in these tubes can prohibit the eggs from reaching the uterus and prevent pregnancy.

Symptoms
There are very few symptoms to detect blocked fallopian tubes. Some of the most common are :

  • A particular type of blocked fallopian tube is known as Hydrosalpinx, which causes pain in the lower abdominal or pelvic region with abnormal vaginal discharge
  • Painful periods can be a warning sign of blockage in the fallopian tubes
  • Painful intercourse is also a potent indicator
  • Spotting or heavy periods
  • Feelings of extreme tiredness
  • Pre-menstrual abdominal cramps

Once you know the symptoms, it is imperative to know the cause behind blocked fallopian tubes in order to get proper treatment.

Causes

  • Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) is the most popular cause of blockage in the fallopian tubes. It can be sexually transmitted, but not all cases of PID are linked to STDs.
  • Prior abdominal surgery
  • Earlier ectopic pregnancy
  • Previous occurrence of ruptured appendix
  • Endometriosis
  • STDs (sexually transmitted diseases) infections like gonorrhea and Chlamydia
  • Uterine infection due to abortion or miscarriage

There are precautionary measures that can be adopted to prevent blocked fallopian tubes, which can be opened with a laparoscopic surgery or a Hysteroscopic procedure. If you are diagnosed with PID, be sure to start your treatment as soon as possible. The most important advice is to look for symptoms of blockage and get professional help if you find any.

In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!
