Pcod is very common. Also do you have period problems. If they are then they should be treated rather than surgery. Avoid fast food. Avoid sleeping during day. Take only natural diet. Do not eat late night. Take regular walk.

Take protein rich food with mineral like calcium, zinc and magnesium---eggs, milk products, seeds, pulses, dry fruits etc. Whole grains, fruits, vegetables and greens provide carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. Have vigorous physical exercise to improve absorption of food and blood circulation. Games like basketball, volley ball and stretch exercises like pull ups, cycling will be helpful. It is not 100% correct that we are not gaining our height because my parent height is not good. You don't know about your parent childhood that why their height were not growing, may be they were not taking balanced diet, may be they were suffering any recurrent inflammatory disease. They might not be taking healthy diet, even grand parents also. So now a days everyone take care of our children, we even give supplement, give proper care from childhood. So, the results are children of short height parents are not short but taller then their parents. You can see, height of new generation of indians is better than older generation.

Dear Tanu, Your symptoms are indicating towards Cervical spondylosis and the pain which you are experiencing from neck to elbow is radiating pain because of nerve compression. You can consult a near by good Physiotherapist and can go for TENS TENS will help you with the radiating pain and along with that you can go for cervical/ neck muscle strengthening exercises. Hello, It's good to reduce weight at right time as many problems are directly related to overweight! Remember, there's no magic bullet for weight loss. The key to losing weight is burning more calories than you consume. Choose a variety of healthy foods — such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean sources of protein — and include physical activity in your daily routine. Go through the following guidelines and implement them in your routine: Management: 1: Drink plenty of water (at least 2-3 l/d) or other calorie-free beverages. 2: Be choosy about nighttime snacks. 3: Enjoy your favorite foods. 4: Have 6 meals per day - 3 main courses and 3 snack meals (snack meals should be healthy). 5: Do regular exercises daily (start with light and later may be little vigorous). Exercise decreases the stress hormone in your body, burns calories and also increases the blood circulation. Preferably brisk walking, swimming, cycling, skipping. 6: Eat seasonal fruits. Fruit helps to satisfy your sweet tooth thanks to its natural sugars, while fresh vegetables help you fill up more quickly. Fruits and vegetables contain fiber to help you feel full quickly. 7: Eat more whole grains and cut simple carbs. Whole wheat bread, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, sweet potato, and brown rice are all excellent sources of energy and sources of nutrition. 8: Choose lean proteins instead of fatty ones. 9: Cut the salt from your diet. Eating more sodium causes your body to retain water, which can cause you to feel bloated and gain more weight. 10: Don't skip meals. When you skip meals, your body stops breaking down fat and starts breaking down muscle tissue. Muscle tissue burns more calories at rest than other tissues, so you're actually working against your goals 11: Eat at home. Going out to eat makes it too easy to cheat. Food sold at restaurants is commonly much higher in fat, sodium, and other weight-loss killers. 12: Give yourself a treat now and then. If you're attending a party or going out for a special occasion, allow yourself an indulgence. Just make sure that these indulgences don't become daily habits. 13: Go for a health walk. Gear up yourself daily for a health walk which not only shed off your extra calorie, but also reduces the stress levels. 14: Take small frequent breaks for a quick walk in between as sitting for long hours together encourages the accumulation of fat in the body! Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine - Schwabe's Phytolacca Berry tablets/ thrice daily 1/2 an hr before the meals for 3 months. Thereafter revert me back for further guidance. (Slow and steady weight loss is good. As we all know when you lose weight fast, it seems to jump right back on, whereas when you lose weight steadily over time because of changes to your diet and balancing your hormones out it tends to stay off.) Milk and cerelac are now no longer required at this age. Start with rice or ragi flour porridge or soups and fruit juices to begin with. Let me know if the child has hard stools as it is a common reason for food refusal.

- नारियल और जैतून के तेल की बराबर मात्रा लेकर इसमें कुछ बूंदे नींबू के रस की मिला ली जाएं और इस मिश्रण से बालों की मालिश लगभग 10 मिनिट तक की जाए और फिर गर्म तौलिए से सिर को 3 मिनिट के लिए ढक लिया जाए, बालों से जुडी समस्याओं में काफी फायदा करता है।

- मेथी के बीजों में फॉस्फेट, लेसिथिन और न्यूक्लिओ-अलब्यूमिन होने से ये कॉड-लिवर ऑयल जैसे पोषक और बल प्रदान करने वाले होते हैं। इसमें फोलिक एसिड, मैग्नीशियम, सोडियम, जिंक, कॉपर, नियासिन, थियामिन, कैरोटीन आदि पोषक तत्व पाए जाते हैं जो बालों की बेहतर सेहत के लिए अत्यंत आवश्यक हैं। बालों में रूसी होने पर मेथी दानों को कुचलकर या ग्राईंडर में पीसकर चूर्ण बनाया जाए। लगभग 3 ग्राम चूर्ण लेकर इसमें पानी मिलाया जाए ताकि पेस्ट तैयार हो जाए। इस पेस्ट को बालों में लगाएं और आधा घंटे बाद धो लें, सप्ताह में 2 से 3 बार ऐसा करने से डेंड्रफ की समस्या से छुटकारा मिल जाता है।

Hye, thanks for the query. You are underweight by 12 kgs as per your height. Low weight could also translate into low stamina and energy levels. Being underweight can be a concern if it's the result of poor nutrition. Here are some healthy ways to gain weight when you're underweight: eat more frequently. When you're underweight, you may feel full faster. Eat five to six smaller meals during the day rather than two or three large meals. Choose nutrient-rich foods. As part of an overall healthy diet, choose whole-grain breads, rice and cereals; fruits and vegetables; dairy products; lean protein sources; and nuts. Don't fill up on diet soda, coffee and other drinks with few calories and little nutritional value. Instead, drink smoothies or healthy shakes. Snack on nuts, dried fruits and fresh fruits. Even when you're underweight, be mindful of excess sugar and fat. An occasional slice of cake or ice cream is fine. But most sweets should be healthy and provide nutrients in addition to calories. Sheera, lassi and chikki are good choices. Exercise, especially strength training, can help you gain weight by building up your muscles. Exercise may also stimulate your appetite.

Hi = relax and stay positive. = increase fluid intake. = eat seasonal fruits for natural vitamins = do stretching of hamstring, quadriceps, and calf muscles. = if you are overweight, reduce weight by cycling or swimming as it gives low impact on joints. = do check your calcium and vit. D = apply moist heat pad to affected joint and muscles. If still you dont get relief see a physiotherapist as there are various causes for leg/ joint pain and some test may be required for further investigation. Best wishes.
