Do the cat/cow avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretchingstretch.

Hi I am from south India, aged 60, now I suffered by shoulder pain and unable to lift the left hand and restricted movements only, so I go physiotherapy, 20 times is not cure, so, I go a doctor he recommended to anesthesia and injected an injection in shoulder, after that I relief from 90% pain, but the hand not come as regular, I give instruction to lift it not obey and not lift, but I lift it by other hand it comes, like that unable to come down, its pain, so, I slowly down it with the help of another hand. I know the hand not lift as per instruction by me about fear for pain. What I do, I go physiotherapy again. Last night I get another type pain, in bone I think or in muscle, I am suspect the physiotherapy persons handle rough I think. [they wrap a rubber band and tie with in their hip and pull, and do movement by hands,]

Massage with your thumbs from the mid points of the shoulder blades on both sides towards the lower back of your head up to lower level of the ears. Use oil or water for massage. Rotate your head clockwise and anticlockwise, forward and down, left and right a few times. Do for 5 to 10 times morning and evening. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Consult after 5 days. For further guidance and treatment.

Left sided position is advised in pregnancy as it helps to keep better blood flow to baby. But you can sleep on other side or straight too. You can just change position in between to feel better and relaxed.

Drink 2-3 glass of water in the morning empty stomach, and 3-4 litres of water during the day daily. Walk for minimum 5 minutes. You may also mix two spoons of isabgol in a glass of warm milk and drink it just before you go to bed. It will help. Thank You

Maintain input out put ratio. Whatever you eat calculate calories that called input calories after that do exercise and burn some calories that is out put calories. Eat less exercise more weight will loos have a barley soup at dinner have a dinner at 8.00pm and sleep at 10---11.00pm. Avoid rice at night.

Pain could be due to weak muscles at and arund knee muscles. Take 8 sessions of swd followed by strengthening exercise, consult physiotherapist for same.

Hi firstly congratulations on this wonderful achievement. Next challenge you can work on is to firm up your ab muscles. As per your height, your ideal weight should be around 58-62, so you still have to reduce some more. However right now, do not focus much on reduction. Now focus on exercise and firming up. Do 60 mins exercise everday. Out of that 40 mins cardio - running / jogging/ cycling / treadmill and 20 mins, crunches, sit ups and other abs exercises. This will help you to reduce your ab area. Take a measurement now and measure after every two weeks. All the best.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Actually decision in a knee depends upon a thorough clinical examination for all structures and then correlating findings with mri of affected knee. My take on this is: I think you should go for a diagnostic arthroscopy and then proceed. This will help in 2 ways, first we can see all structures inside ot with our own eyes and see for complete tears and laxity. Complete acl tear ar your age will require a reconstruction arthroscopically, lateral meniscus can be balanced and managed. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Relax keep posture straight while sitting or working on computer/ no pillow while lying down. Apply voveran gel on neck. Do not move neck much for the time being good luck.

Arthroscopic pcl reconstruction needs atleast 7-8 months for recovery. it takes more time than a acl reconstruction as the healing time is more. as for hospital stay will be for a few days post surgery

Dear , r you sure its a bony pain? acc. To me it can be either bony or muscular pain. If its bony pain, consult orthopedician immediately and if its a muscular pain then, probable reason could be muscle stiffness or inflammation. I suggest you, do hot water fomentation (twice a day, with that, stretches for your lower limb and if its too much then have an enzoflam. You can consult me.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. It needs to be investigated. Investigations advised - hb, tlc, dlc, esr, sugar f & pp, uric acid, vit d3 urine r/e x ray of the affected part. Anyway you may try- sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation.
